Adobe XD

I have a source document with all my colours and character styles, which is linked to my current working document. I also copied a few elements and pages from the source document, in order to edit those for a new part of the design. Which means that all the elements and fonts should be correctly linked together, but when I right click on the font in the document, it does not recognize that that font already exist in the linked character styles.So, clicking on a font in character styles works fine, but the information somehow gets lost on the way from the font in the document, to recognize it in the character styles.This means I can not double check if everything is in order, unles I have to do select and edit all the pages and texts manually, which is too much work.

Hallo zusammen,immer wenn ich einen Freigabelink für meinen Prototypen erstellen möchte, verarbeitet Xd das Ganze extrem lange bis zu 99% und dann erhalte ich eine Fehlermeldung mit dem Code 44:74. Ich kann nicht eindeutig nachvollziehen was das Problem ist und die Lösungsvorschläge funktionieren entweder nicht oder sind unpraktiabel (Frames löschen etc. kann ich nicht machen). Gibt es jemand der schon mal das gleiche Problem hatte und es beheben konnte? Es ist auch egal ob die Xd-Datei in der Cloud ist oder lokal auf dem Rechner, es geht beides mal nicht.Danke im Voraus 🙂

Hallo liebe Community,ich habe das Problem, dass Texte, die ich innerhalb eines PDF aus XD exportiere nicht korrekt angezeigt werden, wenn ich sie per copy & paste weiterverwende, da sie dann spiegelverkehrt angezeigt werden.Wenn ich das PDF nur öffne passt alles, es geht lediglich um das copy & pasten, bei dem der Text dann spiegelverkehrt ist.Weiß jemand, woran das liegt und wie ich das beheben kann? Danke 🙂

In some XD files, when I try to update share links, I get the error "You're disconnected. Check your internet connection and try again". But I have internet connection an I can update other files. Usually, file links stop updating when I add too many prototyping interations. Hello there, today I wanted to activate a new font, but it didn't show up in Xd, but in all other Adobe Applications I have installed it worked fine. Previously activated fonts were still available. After some troubleshooting I tried to de- and reactivate the Adobe Fonts service in the Creative Cloud App, but after that ALL my Adobe Fonts went missing in Xd. Other applications still work fine though. Did anyone have a similiar issue and can help? Any advice is appreciated. OS: Windows 10Xd version: 57.0.12.14Creative Cloud synchronisation: 6.5.3.1

Hey, I currently work on a project that contains 2 sides ( Dashboard and Landing Page ) and 2 platforms ( Web and Mobile ), so I find a lack in Adobe XD and that is the limited Canvas Area ( Work Space ), think about it, you have more than 400 web FHD artboard and +400 Mobile size artboard! you will definitely stuck because of the limited canvas area. Please extend it as unlimited in the next update 🙂 Thanks.

Hello I hope i explain this correctly but i have a button component that will be called Smart Text.When the user clicks on the button I want it to open a window to the top right that will give them options for the smart text. when the window is open I still want users to be able to click around and use other features for example still be able to type on the contract etc.. Smart text Screenshot Screenshot of Smart Field Window   1st I tried to create a button that links to a overlay canvas but the problem with this method is when you click the button and it opens the overlay window only that window scrolls (I'm sure there is a way to fix this) and THE MAJOR PROBLEM is you cant click anywhere else outside of the window and if you do it closes that window.  https://xd.adobe.com/view/d196de0d-7420-4262-9c08-51a370a60173-84c5/  2nd I tried to put the right Smart Field window inside the Smart Field Button and have the layer turned on using "Default States"

While closing the document, I forgot to save my document. The version that I use is latest and still I am asked to save everytime I close the document. I did not find the auto save feature as well. Is there any chance that I can recover my document? And, can you please suggest how can I autosave for the next time.P.S. The version that I use for my XD is 33.1.12.4. I would really appreciate an early response. Thank you.

Hi! I have so many files in XD for both work and personal. If Adobe XD is being discontinued, will there be an easier file conversion process to the new preferred web design app if not XD? I am worried about loosing my years of work. To my knowledge, there is not a file adapter between Figma and Xd. Will there be update to those systems to better communicate with one another? Or is there a way of doing this now that i don't know of?

This is the workflow I wanted to have: creating a bunch of icons in Illustrator and importing them into XD (or open the .ai file in XD). Strokes and radiuses are applied as styles in .ai to do general changes in style efficiently. If I open these assets in XD and try to scale them strokes won’t scale when I have to use icons in different sizes. Am I doing sth wrong or is it the way things should work in XD (responsive resize is "off")?    <The Title was renamed by moderator>

I'm a UX researcher trying to test an Adobe XD prototype. Every time the prototype loads, a message appears on the screen that has a little hand and says 'pinch to comment and navigate'  Is there a way to disable this? It's messing up my unmoderated tests because my participants follow this direction and screw themselves up. I'd rather not have the prototype complicate my research findings. 

Hi all, has anyone else had an issue with t e following - purchased and downloaded the Creative Cloud program, went to install XD but it was not available for me to. When I try to install it externally via a link I get a message saying that I am not elidgable or my computer has not got the correct spec....both statements are false! Help!!!

Is there a way to dynamically resize the artboard based on stacks within it? If i have a few stacks that expand down when more content is inputed, i want the whole artboard to resize too. 

The cookie banner on my Adobe XD embeded slideshow inteferes too much with the user experience, especially when opening the site on mobile. Is there a way to remove, or at least adjust the cookie banner so it doesnt intefere with the content of my slideshow? Hi There,Font Awesome (the icon font) works in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign but not XD - is there a trick to getting it to work with XD?Also, does XD have a Glyphs panel? If not, a Glyphs panel is kind of mandatory, may I please request one?CheersBen

Web mobile prototype:Is there a way or setting to fit the artboards to match the device width once shared?My artboard width is 320px and I am viewing it on an iPhone 13 with a width of 390px. I aim to use the prototype for user testing and hence will never know the fixed width of the end users.Thanks!

Hi, i am trying to create a new/hover state for separate sections under one component. I have created a default state with how i want the page to look and then created new states for each of the singular components to suggest the sub-states are dropdown sections. However, when i am in preview, none of the states are working. I created a hover state which manipulates the exact movement to what i want. Could someone please suggest what i am doing wrong or how i can fix the issue?  The way i have created the states are Default  > New State > Move elements for a new state. I have created screenshots of the page.

Hello, everyone,when I select a text in XD and (to format or copy), the context menu "Services" of the Mac always appears. This disturbs the workflow. This only happens in Adobe XD but not in any other application of Adobe or other apps.Does anyone have the same problem and an idea how I can get rid of it?Thank you very much and best regardsTimo
