After Effects

Hello all,I typically send my comps to Render Queue and then modify the Output Module and Output to for multiple comps at once. For some reason, this is not working for me. Even if I select all it only lets me change one at a time. How do I get that functionality back? 

Hi everyone! I have a screen recording of an app I built in Adobe XD. I brought a snippet of that recording into After Effects to use in a composition, and when I try to export it as a GIF, the file size is huge. I have a GIF identical to this one without the imported video that exported at 7,3 MB, so I'm pretty sure that's the problem. All my other compositions that have imported video have the same issue. Do you have any suggestions for reducing the file size?  I tried creating a Premiere project, importing my AE composition and exporting as a GIF from there, but it was just as bad and some of the colors looked weird so I would rather solve it within the AE workspace. Thanks in advance!

Is it just me that experiences that moving keyframes in the timeline is extremely slow? I know AE's UI gets slower the more complex a project is, but moving the keyframes for me seems to be more laggy than the UI in general, especially in the latest release with the new keyframe colors etc. I need to move the keyframes slowly because if I release them and move my mouse to quickly they end up somewhere else on the timeline than where I released the mouse button. If this is because after effects starts previewing while you are moving the keyframe in realtime, it would be good to have an option to make after effects pause preview while you are moving the keyframe and start after, because that is a feature you mostly don't need.

How do I fix this error, everyone? This also often happens with other Saphire plugin effects. I've read a lot of posts about this error in the Adobe community and see people usually saying they need to delete it and not use that effect anymore, but I need them so I can't delete them. Is there any other way? 

I am trying to speed up the plugin by making it AVX2 compliant and would like to know how rowbytes are determined.4byte?8byte?16byte?32byte?I am assuming that they are probably patted to match one of those, but I would like to know the specific values.

Hello.I'm just curious how an experienced editor would go about this. Varible rates detected. I'm in the process of trying to reduce it to 30fps and keep the audio in sync.A girl is singing a song. Her talent is far outstripping her setting. I'm trying to get rid of the board behind her head. I've set Rotobrush to eliminate the board, not seperate her entire body from the frame.You'll see below that I will have no choice but to help Rotobrush along frame by frame.Any advice will help. Hey there!I've recently discovered that MXF files, which were rendered from AE with Media Encoder on previous versions seem to be broken on the latest AE version. Downgrading to 24.0.3 (as per an old unresolved post here on the community forums) fixes this issue and the file imports flawlessly, display alpha and also render correctly in new projects on this version.The original file was rendered using the Apple ProRes MXF format with the Apple ProRes 4444 with alpha preset in ME. I can provide the .mxf file if necessary but any and all previously rendered files do not import correctly in the current build. Steps to reproduce:- Create a comp on 24.0.3- Render in ME using Apple ProRes MXF format with the Apple ProRes 4444 with alpha preset- Install latest version of AE- Importing said MXF file will fail

Hi Everybody, I have a situation where I have a side-scrolling 'game' where the road/foreground, street elements, and background need to travel sideways on an X-axis but at different speeds. Now, there's the hand-made way of creating separate (super long) length of background and then set a keyframe at the beginning and end. But it would be a LOT nicer if I could set three separate precomps in a loopOut() and then change their frame rate by a slider (or something). Is that possible? and if so, are there any tutorials on this subject? Making Precomps more..."object-oriented" (for lack of better wording) would be great for templating and beyond.  Thanks for reading. 🙂

I'm wondering how to sync the point movement of my 4-point gradient with the movement of the shape, and I'm not quite sure how to make that happen. I would appreciate it if you could help.(a video of the problem is attached)

1. Double click on missing media.2. Attempt to search for file using Windows Search function in upper right hand side 3. Nothing happens  Windows 11. Confirmed same happening with a coworker AE 2024.4.1 Windows search functions normally in Explorer. 

I've been using these After Effects the whole day from the morning till now.  The program worked fine and everything went well. However, when I wanted to save my project file or import or save as. I've clicked everything but nothing happened. I don't really know what to do. And I have to hand in some files today and it seems it won't help... I bought the whole adobe package and this little issue really frustrated me.Please let me know if you guys had the same problem or solved the problem! It would be really helpful for me and for everyone! Thank you 😄

Hello! I know with the recent version, you are able to import .obj files into the composition. However, when I add an .obj file into my timeline, I don't see it on the screen. The guidelines are showing, but the object I'm trying to manipulate is invisible. I have version 24.3 and can't update to the most recent version. How can I resolve this? I would like to use my 3D models on my videos :,) Someone had this issue on the Beta version, but no one had any fixes there.

Anybody have ideas on how to apply .cdl files into AE to match a VFX to AVID color pipeline? In the past I was able to do a work around by applying .cdl files through a third party plugin (a free Colorista version) that only works in AE 2017 or older. When I contacted Adobe support for help on installing this old version of AE they said they have discontinued apps older than 2020 and that AE does not support .cdl files. The kind person who created the free Colorista plugin has since created a preset for AE 2020 and after called Prolost CDL but it requires you manually enter value information which is not something I want to do. I'm looking for something that can automatically read and apply the values written in the .cdl file. Can anyone recommend a free third party plugin that can do that or do I have to buy Red Giant's Colorista plugin to make this .cdl work? Or does it make sense to contact the DI facility to request a different color file format that AE can read (lik

I was wondering if I would be able to take a lower third that was made in Illustrator and add it to After Effect and animate it, make it responsive as well as make it a MOGRT?  I have  included an image file. There are sublayers in this. Where would I be able to find a tutor on this if it is possible as I am new to this.Thanks everyone. 

Hi All , ive imported a PSD file into Premiere pro ive replaced it with an after effects composition but when AE opens the layers are all imported but only a few are visible , ive noticed that the ones that are visible have the pupils visible whereas the ones that arent arent showing .  

Hi, when i use twixtor, ( according to the tutorials in youtube which works) when i lower the speed to /90 the screen goes black but everything is fine at /91.I've fixed the red screen error now this..Help.

A wave selector expression with delay doesn't display correctly in right-to-left languages (like Persian) by default.The only workaround I found is to make the copy layer . The expression written in the first layer is actually correct, but when it is placed in the composition alone, the expression value is not calculated correctly. However, miraculously, when a copy layer with the same expression and a different delay is placed in the composition in the visible state, the expression calculations for the first layer are performed correctly. Create a copy of the layer and change the delay value in the copy. This will temporarily fix the issue. However, if you disable the visibility of the second layer, the calculations in the first layer will revert to the incorrect state

Hello, I can't find any infomation on this anywhere on the web. I have a logo that is a Cauldron with Musical Notes coming out of it. I would like to animate the musical notes as bubbles coming out of it. How do I do that? I know about the CC Bubbles in Simulation. But I want only the musical notes to be bubbles coming out of the cauldron. I am wondering how to do that, Can anyone help with this?

Hi all,I'm currently using After Effects 5... yes that is version 5, not CS5.I'm trying to figure out if I can import a group of layers and their applied Effects in to another project while keeping all the editable attributes and the positions of the imported layers with respect to one another.I see that I can import a AEP project file in to another project via IMPORT FILE, but that just brings the raw layers/files in to the project window and does not place the layers in the timeline with all of their positions, Effects and edited attributes, the way that I'd like.I also tried Pre-Composing the layers, but that does not leave them editable once a pre-comp has been made... it just makes the 7 layers that I want to import in to another project all one layer and does not leave them editable the way the the 7 layers are separately.In Adobe Premiere, there is an actual "IMPORT PROJECT" selection under IMPORT that allows me to import an entire project file in to another project and lets me
