In our Mac App we have following credential to entitlement.plist which enables us to read/write to user's file system followed by file browser dialogue:com.apple.security.files.user-selected.read-write That does mean we able to read/write a file/folder if once accessed by file browser dialogue. We never able to read/write to files/folder if not accessed by file browser dialogue at least once in an application life cycle.I didn't found any other possible credential too to entitlement.plist which can enable us read/write to files/folder by completely removing any use of file browser dialogue. Is there any way we can achieve this?To give some more information, our application is an IDE which involves arbitrary file/folder access by user or automatic. By automatic I mean accessing files/folders through previously opened items which need not to open a file browser dialogue. The location can be anywhere in user's system. I create a empty mobile project and just add an enter frame event to trace stage size,then debug at iphone 6 plus,(physical device)without -platformsdk,air gives stage size 1242x2208,that is correct.when i give the -platformsdk value,air gives stage size 828x1472,and both stage size returns different dpi.I use air 20 and iOS sdk 9.3is it  a bug of air? and any one who knows how to get the  1242x2208 with -platformsdk ?

     I've been trying to install Salesforce Chatter on a users computer and keep receiving the error, "Sorry an error occurred. The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer file from the application author."     I've tried to uninstall everything adobe, reboot, reinstall air and try again with the same results. I've tried putting the install file on a thumb drive and installing it from that with no luck. So we are all aware of the AIR 20/21 issue that requires you to package your application for iOS on a Mac because of the Windows bug.We'll, I've just confirmed with Michael Archbold from Distriqt (ANE guys), we both have a problem compiling for iOS using the latest AIR 21 with ANEs.You'll be left with a message similar to the following....Error occurred while packaging the application: /Users/pathtoyourapp/bin-release-debug/AOT/yourapp.ipa (No such file or directory)So just to confirm... currently people who have ANE's requiring AIR 20:Windows AIR 20 packaging for iOS = ErrorWindows AIR 21 packaging for iOS = ErrorMac AIR 20 for iOS = OKMac AIR 21 for iOS = Error.1 outta 4 is sad, but better than nothing i guess....come on adobe

Google is providing many options for game developers. But there is no option that I could find in air to use such options like multiplayer support and all. If compared to unity, there is very less ane ( without correct documentation or how to use ) for flash. How can a flash game developer could survive? Is it time to move ? uninstall flash and try unity or any other ?

I keep getting this error when I try to package to my android device. I have moved the aapt.exe, adb.exe, adbWinApi.dll, adbWinUsbApi.dll and the dx.jar to the appropriate places and the original error of the device not being recognized is gone and now I am hitting the following error below. I have searched for a solution but nothing pertains to this exact problem. Any help would be appreciated. Also before anyone asks the android-res.jar is in the folder and has been updated with the latest sdk. Hi, I made an app with AS3 in AIR mode.I install it on Android. it works fine. it loads a lot of swfs wiht abc code in it on demand. But On iOS, as you already know,  it can not load swf with abc code unless it is packaged on compile.  We have already made a lot of educational courses which are in service in web version. There are too many to package all those stuff. I have a program created in Flash CS5.5  When I publish it to Adobe Air, several things no longer work.  It is programmed so in some of the exercises, the user can use either the mouse or the space bar, but in Air, the space bar doesn't work.  It works fine in a Flash Projector.  Also, one of the files cannot be called up, and the User Name cannot be input.  All of these things work great in a Flash projector.  How do I get them to work in Air?

Hi, I'm trying to use adt -package ipa-app-store. I have a CI server doing this job.Everything was fine until I've updated from AIR 17.0 to AIR 19.0.  Now adt get's stuck while building the ipa.I've tried running the adt package from command line on CI server. I am still able to build the apk with AIR 19.0, however building ipa has no reaction, just remains hanging.AIR 18.0 has same behaviour as AIR 19.0CI server is Windows. Using same adt package command, swf file, etc on Mac, I am able to package the ipa. I still need to get my CI server running, if anyone can provide some ideas, would be very helpful.Thank you.

CameraRoll currently allows to browse and select pictures which are stored on google drive and not the device itself. If I select picture from google drive I get #2004 error when I use open method of MediaPromise. Is there any way to exclude google drive images from CameraRoll? Or may be some way to load them without getting error?Best Regards, Aleksey

We utilize hardware accelerated decoding of H.264 video in an Air application which previously used StageVideo and now uses the VideoTexture class. The application is built on the Intel NUC platform. Everything worked fine on the Haswell processors (using the HD Graphics 4400 video card) -- both with StageVideo and VideoTextures. Since moving to the Broadwell chips (HD Graphics 5500), video decoding falls back to software (for both StageVideo and VideoTextures). I've opened up a bug case on this (Bug#4130735 - StageVideo and VideoTextures fall back to software decoding on Intel HD Graphics 5500). Has anyone else come across this issue? Is there a central place/ web page to report which platforms/GPUs that StageVideo is fully compatible with? Thanks! josh.

When I try to download the latest update for Adobe Air I get the message, "Sorry an error has occured. An error has occurred while installing Adobe Air. Installation may not be allowed by your administrator. Please contact your administrator." This is isn't the first time I posted this on this site. I used google to look up CFBundleURLSchemes.  I found varying layouts for the entries for the app.xml.   I have tried multiple formats and none of them have been successful.   To test, I would create a link tag in html file, which I viewed on the iOS.  Clicking the link did nothing.Couple of questions:what is the right format?  what is the right way to test this?Is there any additional work required in the actionscript project to handle the URL?ThnxMatt

Having issues, Scout is no longer profiling. I can run Scout on my iPad, it sees and connects to the Scout instance on my desktop. I'm able to check/uncheck recording settings on my desktop and can successfully refresh on the iPad. However, the recording session never starts when I run my Adobe AIR app on the iPad.I added the -sampler flag to adt and -advanced-telemetry to mxmlc. Still no connection.Is there something I'm missing? Does it matter that I'm using an ad hoc build? I'm using AIR 20.0.0.204.

I have noticed that Android 6.0 seems to break my ability to share a file from my app using a bunch of ANE's.  It feels like a permission issue given the changes they made to the permissions in Android 6 but here is what I am doing.1. Create and save image to documentsDirectory/mydirectory/myfile.  When I trace this, the native path is /storage/emulated/0/mydirectory/myfile2. Share file using that path (tried several share ANE's but they all fail to attach)I have verified that File.exists but something happens when I pass it on to the ANE that doesn't happen in earlier versions.  I have both WRITE and READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE declared in the manifest (even though WRITE is sufficient as per Android docs).  If I try to navigate to the /storage/emulated/0/mydirectory/myfile within something like ES File Explorer, I can't.  I can only find it via /mnt/sdcard/mydirectory/myfile.  If I hardcode the latter path into the share function, it gives the same error.I gues

I want to publish on an ios device without paying $99 to obtain an ios developer's certificate and a provisioning profile. I've developed an App in Flash Professional CS6 on a Windows machine. I simply want to try it out on my ios device. But do want to pay $99 just to experiment. Can you please describe how I can obtain the certificate and provisioning profile?
