According to the AIR 27 release note, insecure web connection no longer being supported. However, iOS does have NSExceptionDomains to support whitelist of trusted domain. Can something similar be available for Adobe AIR?

Has anyone used application storage on iOS / Android ?I need to be able to take a photo with the device and save that photo to the application rather than the device camera roll. When my app is opened I need to read these images and load them.Any help with how to tackle this would be highly appreciated.Cheers!

Hi,When I updated from Air22 to a higher version my game now longer loads on iOS (still works fine for web, Android & desktop). It crashes after it has loaded the locally packaged swf files required to run the game and then it attempts to use them. I've narrowed down the issue to when an Interface is referenced both from the main and child swf. If I access the classes directly via reflection without using their interfaces it work, so the problem isn't that the code wasn't compiled. Interfaces are used extensively throughout the game and engine.While I appreciate that if I only have one swf I won't have the issue, that isn't practical for this large project, and it hasn't been an issue up until now. Hi, I'm having a hard time figuring out how I should port a Flash game to Steam. I can create an installer file with Adobe Air, but Steam should perform the installation on its own, so I need an executable file that boots the game directly, and I'm not sure how that works.Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

We have an issue that we just discovered in AIR 26. On Android, when opening a purchase dialogue the app will be deactivated and unable to receive the events fired by the ane. When the dialogue is closed the app is activated again. From what we can tell this problem is present in AIR 25, 26 and in the 27 Beta. We were using FreshPlanet's AirInAppPurchase.ane and running the app in full screen. Our environment is Inteliij, but the problem is also present when compiling manually with adt..

I can't find the flash player I installed on my Macos Siera in the application folder, and it's not working on Safari,or google Chrome.

I see that I'm able to monitor network connection with the URLMonitor class, but checking whether or not the application is connected to a network is not enough.  I need to be able to see the network monitor on the standalone desktop application and see all of the service calls, HTTP Post and Get requests, etc. That way I can have QA run the standalone application and see the network monitor logs.

I am at the point where I am running into incredibly long build times for my project and more projects to come. I would like to make a build server but I have not had any experience with them aside from downloading files from them as an end user.My ideal setup is this: A GitHub where I can place my .fla file, classes and ANEs. The server sees this, compiles it, and allows me to test it remotely or hook into some debugger that lets me see stack traces and active variables at breakpoints and errors like Adobe Animate or Flash Builder.Now I see there are GitHub plugins for Jenkins. I see there are questions referring to how to set one up with Flex/AIR. I come here with a few issues.I am too far into my project to switch over from using Animate to something like Flash Develop or anything ADT related. Hello, I run a game called Aeon Rivals (https://aeonrivals.com).During installation of my game app, many Windows users encounter an error when first installing the game without the AIR runtime. I haven't isolated it to a specific OS yet, but when they run the game installation file (aeonRivals170.exe), the installer progress bar fills up and gets to the "Checking download" state and then closes. I'm not sure it it then tries to hook a process and it simply fails, but the installer never reopens itself and just fails to install. This error has occurred on Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 so far, possibly others.I tried asking them to manually install the AIR runtime afterward, and that usually seems to fix the problem. After they install it, the installer continues on without a hitch. The main problem is that it's happening for so many users. Is there anything I can try or anything I'm missing? If you need any other info I'd be happy to provide it.

We are using the stageWebView to embed video in one of our products. There is a page which contains several videos and audios. After upgrading to AIR 26, we found that the audio cannot be played after playing a video. We also found that once the app is opened again from sleep mode, the audio which you clicked to play (no sound) before go to sleep mode will be played automatically and the audio playing function will work again until a video is played. We tested on iOS 10.3.x and iOS 10.2.x, all of them have the same problem.

Hi, We use Adobe Animate CC as the main software tool to develop AIR for iOS and AIR for Android apps. Can someone from Adobe provide feedback for this questions? Is Adobe going to continue updating Animate CC to support AIR for iOS and Android mobile app development? I have a Flex application loaded into AIR with an htmlLoader. The Flex application displays a link that when clicked, calls navigateToURL(...) and displays a new browser window. This functionality works with the Flex application, however it does nothing when wrapped in AIR. Any thoughts? Thanks.

So after a recent windows security update adobe air stopped working. I tried to download the software to force an update and it said that i needed a version of adobe air that was not found to install it. I then tried to uninstall it to start fresh and i got the exact same message. I am running Windows 7 and any and all help would be appreciated.
