We have an old version of our application that was successfully code signed using a Thawte SHA 256  certificate. Hello everyone,I'm having an issue during debugging with relative path directories. Previously I used an IDE that I used batch files to execute the adl command in order to debug my AIR app. This worked fine. The batch file would change to the root directory of my app, and then run adl from there.When my app starts, it starts up a secondary executable, and because adl was run from the correct directory, the secondary executables working directory would be the same as my app's working directory which is the same as where adl was run from.I have since switched to IntelliJ with Flex/ActionScript support. I could have the same setup to make it run, but it's convoluted because I have to run a configuration that uses the Flash Remote Debugger but runs another configuration that runs a bat file that runs the adl command and it's messy.. Many years ago i installed a "try-ut version" of CS5. I think is also when Adobe air was installed.I don't use this computer much and haven't thought much about this. However, today I have been going through old programs etc. This is when I noticed I have something called "Adobe air uninstaller" and "Adobe air application installer" in the Program folder. I don't think I need Adobe Air and thought I should try to uninstall it - but when I doubleclick the Adobe Air uninstaller it just says "This version of Adobe Air is already installed".So how do I actually UNinstall it???And when I double-click the "Adobe air application installer" I am encouraged to choose an installation package.There is also a folder called "Adobe installers" but it looks empty.Looking into this I also found a folder in my Library/Application Support/Adobe. Is there any word from Adobe about whether or not they plan to make performance improvements to the Desktop version of AIR?AIR on mobile has two features I desperately need when publishing Flash games on Steam: Stage quality and/or GPU render mode for bitmaps.Both of these features have a lot of votes on Adobe Tracker/Bugbase, but are marked as not a priority and there's been no comment from Adobe for months:https://tracker.adobe.com/#/view/AIR-4123650Tracker Tracker Without these features I'm considering finally ditching Flash and moving to Unity. I'm creating an HTML/Javascript based AIR app, but getting the error that 'bind' (a standard JavaScript function) is undefined.Since bind is being used in a 3rd party library this pretty much kills my hopes of using it unless I wanted to hack through that library, which I don't. I guess this is because the version of WebKit embedded in AIR is not able to support bind for whatever reason (I'm publishing to AIR 13.0)But I'm wondering if the correct approach is to create an ActionScript based app that uses StageWebView? Is StageWebView using a more updated version of WebKit?Thanks

Hi, I'm not used to Animate CC (I usually use Flashdevelop) but for a specific project I have to use it to package a Desktop AIR app. I don't know why but the "package AIR option" is not available. Is there something I missed? I'm using the AIR 23 SDK.

i resecntly reset my computer and and not re loading all programs that i need and Air is one. However i have downloaded the dmg file for mac and it will not open on the computer. I have tried many ways of trying to open the dmg file but it does not open. any advice.

When compiling with air sdk 23 app crashes on start on ios 6. Device is ipod touch 4. gen.When tested with air sdk 21 this error did not occur.I think the error is related with the GameController framework as it was introduced in ios 7.Is it possible to link it as optional so we can use newer air sdk?A part of the crash log:Dyld Error Message:  Library not loaded: /System/Library/Frameworks/GameController.framework/

Hi! I don't have a problem downloading Adobe Air. I have an issue with installing it. I keep receiving this message "An error occurred while installing Adobe AIR. Installation may not be allowed by your administrator. Please contact your administrator".Its my personal laptop. Windows 10.Thank you for any help!

I have a maxed out Mac Book Pro .. very powerful. Yet the iOS simulator runs my apps in what looks like about 2 FPS.  Is this a setting somewhere ?  My apps are GPU enabled if that matters.My apps run buttery smooth on device.. but can not run in the simulator.

Has Adobe dropped support for Air?

My application has the set stage size of 640x960. This works on iPhone 5's and somewhat on iPhone 6's but the numbers being returned on the iPhone plus sizes are way off. Is it something i'm missing?I have tested the values returned on the iPhone 6, my graphics which are positioned based on the screenHextra are not exactly where they should be, but usable.

We wrapper our flash based application with Adobe AIR for our clients to have a controlled execution environment (not dependent on the version of flash on the client). We were working fine with the version of the SDK with flash 15. Recently we are having problems so decided to upgrade to the latest ( with flash 24). Now we are having problems lauching our application from the Adobe AIR wrapper because of the file NPSWF32.dll that comes with the SDK. Prevous version were a much larger size and since about version 2.1 of the SDK, a smaller version is included.Has something changed in the way the SDK works with flash versions?

So I'm trying to publish an app for ios, but I'm constantly getting the same error message in Flash CC. I know that my certificate and password are valid because I managed to publish the same app, but with a development certificate. Needless to say, I had exactly the same problem, but after restarting my PC and selecting "remember password for this sesion," it worked out. Unfortunately, I'm having the same problem today and I can't seem to solve it. I tried moving the certificates to the folder with my fla file, but to no avail. Has anyone experienced the same problem before?

i started have problems with adobe flash and adobe air last year after a update and it has only gotten worse to the point i am now uninstalling and reinstalling twice a week its only on certain sites where theres problems. i can understand and dont mind doing this once a month but now twice a week is going to far. i have completely gone thru computer and  keep it cleaned. also it works good for a few days after reinstall with no adjustments or changes else where then stops working on some sites and i start getting crash messages and freezes near constant. every day i go thru clear cache and cookies thru out. i have had computer looked at and its not the issue, its something to do with adobe. any ideas would be helpful. getting tired of this problem.

Are there still plans to improve codecs for Adobe AIR?It would be great if any video that the mobile device can play can also run in AIR!It's kind of weird that AIR has access to the camera, but can't play back the recordings.I know there are ANEs and StageVideo, but these both have serious drawbacks - the main problem being that only 1 video can be played at once, and if Stage3D is already being used this can also make that impossible.What would it take to make Adobe AIR work with any videos?  Isn't high quality, interactive video one of AIR's main goals?
