Hi everyone,I created an animation using shape hints to control how the shape tween should behave. It worked fine at first, but then I wanted to move the animation to a different position. To do that, I usually convert the layers into a symbol. However, when I did that, the shape hints got messed up. They stopped working properly, and when I checked inside the symbol, I saw that the hints had moved out of place—some even ended up outside the stage.Since converting to a symbol didn’t work, I tried moving the animation by selecting everything and using Edit Multiple Frames. But I had the same issue. Even worse, when I try to redo the shape hints, they don’t behave like they should anymore… something feels off.It seems like shape hints only work properly the first time—after that, everything goes wrong.Does anyone know how to preserve shape hints when converting layers to a symbol or moving an animation around the stage? Any tips or workarounds would be really appreciated! Thanks in advance
I'm trying to export different elements of the scene as quicktime videos with alpha to comp in After Effects. Some shots require additional bleed room around the edges. The sollution should be going to modify-document and changing the stage size proportionally, while leaving scale content unchecked, and anchor set to the middle. After rendering, the first frame jumps to a random location, and the following animation is offset in a way that is different form the original shot. There is a camera in the scenes, so I'm not sure if that's the culprit.Any ideas how to resolve this or take another approach to add bleed room around the render would be much appreciated.
Ive been working on an animation with my friends for 2 days straight and animate crashed on me while trying to close. 30 minutes later, i try opening the file to be hit with an error message while trying to open it. is their anything i can do to uncourupted or is their by chance a folder with the automatic recoverys?
Animate crashes every time I try to Import an AI File. I'm right in my Design Bachelor Thesis and I desperately need a working animate cc! I've tried several workarounds to fix this bug, nothing worked so far. I have deleted the Cache of animate, checked the AI File (I cannot Import any AI File in any Animate Project), turned off the firewall, reinstalled Animate, deleted my preferences but it all didn't work. I'd be very grateful for every fast help!
my animation is ready, only when i want to test it i get a white screen, i dont know where the error is... as soon as i turn the camera layer off (i think it has something to do with this), i only see the first frame but not the whole animation. as soon as i test it in animate itself (without publish it to the browser_everything works perfect and there is nothing wrong. Please help me...
Whenever I draw something it never draws in the same spot I want it to it always draws a little to the right
Hello,i am using the document settings as shown below, which I set to a resolution of a 4k-Display. When I publish the movie to an ".exe"-file, the resolution is very bad (not only the images but also lines, rectangles, ... .Does anyone know why the resolution is so bad and how to improve it?Many thanks in advance!
The animation with be a square pyramid on a table. the shape will begin the float, tilt a little, spin 100 degrees and stop. the base of the shape will grow and the camera will zoom into the base. the measurements will appear; 12 inches by 12 inches. numbers will appear displaying the multiplication between 12 times 12. then the camera will zoom back out to the full pyramid. the height of the pyramid will appear, being 12 inches. the multiplcation of 144 squared inches times 12 inches will show. the sum of that will now be divided by 3. the answer will appear If you can do that place let me know how much this will cost
Hello! I am fairly new to Adobe Animate. I have a presentation im working on for an organizational chart. I have buttons navigating throught a website. In one area, our Org chart, I am trying to make a button that returns to another frame. However, when I click it, it doesnt move. I have searched the community forums and troubleshooted what I could. I feel like there is something simple im missing and Im hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Here is my code snip for this layer/timeline/* Click to Go to Frame and Stop Clicking on the specified symbol instance moves the playhead to the specified frame in the timeline and stops the movie. Can be used on the main timeline or on movie clip timelines. Instructions: 1. Replace the number 5 in the code below with the frame number you would like the playhead to move to when the symbol instance is clicked. 2.Frame numbers in EaselJS start at 0 instead of 1 */ this.RCCR_Button5.addEventListen
I have an exrtremely large project that I have to optimize and one step I am on right now is shrinking over 200 wav audio files in the project. The best way to do that is to convert them into mp3. However, animate (and every other version of flash pro before it) produces a pause before playing mp3 files, whether they are imported into the library or streamed from an external source. This makes it impossible to loop audio files as there is a pause between the loops which is just ridiculous. This does not happen when using wav files and wav files can not be streamed from an external source. My project has about 450MB worth of wav files that desperately needs to be pulled out of the library of my project. I would like to know why this is happening and is adobe ever going to fix this issue?

I want to create HTML5 elements in Canvas to place in my WIX website. I know the option in WIX to add an HTML5 element, but here is the thing - everything I make in Animate Canvas is published as a complete html page, with HEAD and BODY and a set stage size. I just want it to be an element that is a part of the website page, and isn't defined or cropped by a stage of its own . Also, I don't know how to make the buttons in the elements to integrate with the WIX website (e.g. - make a button open a certain page of my site).
Hey everyone,I’ve been playing around with some 2D mobile game concepts recently, mostly casual multiplayer stuff, and I’m curious how others approach basic character animations for games — like walking, jumping, or idle loops.I’ve experimented a bit with Adobe Animate and even tried exporting sprite sheets for Unity. But I sometimes find it hard to get that “bouncy” cartoony movement without spending way too much time on small details.I was exploring how minimal character movement can still feel dynamic in multiplayer games, and came across a cool game design breakdown that analyzes how Stickman Party handles its animations and mechanics — really simple but effective stuff.Just wondering:Do you usually animate everything manually, or use tweening + bone rigs? What’s your favorite tool for building sprite animations for mobile?Any workflow tips to keep things lightweight and optimized?Would love to hear how you all manage game art without overcomplicating it.Cheers
I can't seem to export my Animate file to mp4. It gets 60% of the way through and then says Publishing Failed in Adobe Media Encoder. All my Adobe programs are up to date.
Hello everyone, I am working on animations from 9 to 18 seconds. And I am having problems with the sound output on the 18 second formats where the music seems muffled. While it is perfect on the 8 second formats. The sound at the source is perfect, when editing on Adobe Animate too, it is only when I export with media encoder that the sound is degraded. However I use the same encoding parameters on the 8 seconds as on the 16 seconds!!! Audio input : Rate : 44,1 kHzBits : 16 Media encoder parameters : - Preset used: Match Source – High Bitrate- Video: 2160x3840 (1.0), 30fps, Progressive, 203 (75% HLG, 58% PQ), Hardware Encoded, 00:00:18:03- Audio: AAC, 320 Kbps, 48 kHz, Stereo- Bitrate: VBR, 1 pass, Target 10.00 Mbps Thanks for your lights because there... I am in the dark...!
using adobe animates code editor hurts my eyes pls fix (ignore the video on the bottom right)
Hi, I want to ask , if I open my Animate file on a different device but using the same Adobe account, will my file still be there? If not, how can I save the Animate file so I can open it on another device without needing to transfer the file using a USB drive?
Hey guys, before you start reading, yes, I have learned my lesson.I started a project a few days ago and worked religiously to get it done (more than 24 hours at least). Once I got to the midway point, all of a sudden, my file couldn't save to the location. Okay, I've had this error before. So I try to save it to a new file name. It still doesn't work. Hmm, interesting,So then my brain starts to panic.I close Adobe Animate (2019) and restart my computer, hoping that it was just a little glitch. However, when I open it, a new error appears "Could not load scene into memory. Your document may be damaged."What the heck? The error message appears on both saves and my "scene" where all my work was is now gone. Keep in mind, I had a couple of animate-made symbols and one bitmap for the background. Other than that, the minute I had animated is all drawn. So now I start panicking and scrambling to find answers on the internet. All my photos/symbols look fine in the library, and when I tried to
I was just doing something on Animate when I was trying to select something and I must've accidentally hit something that made my normal cursor look like this. The appearance of the actual cursor is a black line with a completely white triangle. It's doing different things than what the normal cursor does. How do I change it back?
Hi! I have animation with a lot of moving parts and while applying classic tween all thoose parts obviously rotating over transformation point which I changed while animating. Is there a way to change transformation point in all frames at once or force classic tween to use registration point?
I was having some trouble durring which a frame I was drawing on wasn't updating until you left it and came back to it. I saved and quit in order to hopefully resolve the issue, but a new one was created instead.I have a video file in the background which i am drawing over.Forgive the "phone recording screen" thing, the original i recorded to quickly show a friend, I hadn't anticipated sharing it.Here's the animation Synced:and here's the animation Desynced after saving and closing:Is there anything i did to cause this? to my knowledge i did nothing. Can I fix it? thank you for your help.
Out of nowhere today, whenever I try to export the current frame to an image, I get the whole "Sorry, Animate has experienced an error and needs to close" error, I tried installing the previous version of animate, still to no avail.
Go to scene editing mode Shortcuts magnify the canvasHow can I get rid of this phenomenon of canvas enlarging?
Adobe Animate version 24.0.8 crashed, and my working file was deleted. I was able to recover the file with a file recovery tool, but the file was corrupted. I tried every possible fix, but nothing worked, and I lost all my work. What should I do now?
