Hello. The asset warp feature has quite a lot of potential. However I experience a lot of crashes when dealing with warping bitmaps. I have imported a photoshop file as animate layers. When I apply asset warp to them Adobe animate crashes a lot. When I use the envelope option I have had situations when the envelope endpoints will move on their own while using the program, forcing me to have to redo a lot of work over and over. I'm not sure but if the file has different types of bones (soft bones, flexi bones, hard bones) in the same file, even on completely different meshes, it appears to exacerbate the issue.  I was hoping that if a graphic symbol had several frames of different poses of a warped bitmap mesh, that when I keyframed the symbol in the main timeline and later exposed the mesh on the main timeline by breaking the symbols key frames in the main timeline, that I would be able to motion tween between the poses. I have this issue where my tablet will cause what's happening in the video. The time it does draw something, as can be seen in the video, is when I'm left clicking with my mouse instead, but everything else is me using the pen. Does anyone have an idea why it's happening and and how to fix it?

I recently got a Huion 13 gen 3, and when i set any of the buttons to right click, it will not work correctly on only adobe animate.It works fine alright the canvas, but when i tried to use it on any ui elements such as the timeline or toolbar, the right click menu will flash, and then quickly dissapear. ive tried numerous setting combinations of both windows ink, tablet drivers, and adobe animate settings, and nothing seems to change it. It works fine in older versions (i checked flash 8, everything is fine there). Its just the newer version that does not work.

I created an animation in Animate CC, and the preview looks perfect with all frames intact. However, when I export the animation using the Generate Texture Atlas option, some components' sizes change. Consequently, the exported texture atlas fails to render the animation correctly and does not align with the intended design.

I have seen information about how adobe animate 2024 is having trouble opening older files. I am escalating this, as it is a critical issue for me.Operating: Win 11Purchase: April 2025 I can't open older files (22-23) in adobe animate 2024. Accessing these were part of my purchase decisions. What options do I have? I've tried all top level solutions - preferences, rename, restart. I cannot access WinRar due to permission issues.Adobe - can you help me fix this unfortunate issue? Is there a patch?

I'm using Animate v 24.0.8 and running a 128 GB Mac Studio with an M2 Ultra chip. I'm interfacing using a Wacom Cintiq 22HD. After updating the OS to Sequuoia 15.3.2, Animate started exhibiting several bugs that are a huge interruption to a fast and smooth working experience... Fluid Brush fill error: While using the Fluid Brush, occasionally creating a loop or closed line will cause the closed area to be filled. The frequency fluxuates, but seems to hover around every 10th looping line will trigger this error. Cintiq ExpressKeys move Animate's stage: Using the keyboard shortcut F6 to Insert Keyframe and F8 to Convert to Symbol work completely normally. However, using F6 or F8 via the Cintiq ExpressKeys cause Animate's stage to suddenly pan downward. The suddenly jump in stage position happens with every ExpressKey press, causing the stage to jump every time the ExpressKey is pressed. Until the bugs are fixed, I've downgraded to Animate 2023. When I do an action such as creating a tween or adding a keyframe, my timeline shoots to the bottom for some reason.     ALSO, sometimesI click anything, the screen gets a little white and all i see is one timeline. Is that because I am right clicking unconsciously?      If you have an answer do know that i sdont convert my assets to symblo and I just take the.svgs out of the libraray and use them. Im on windows 11

Everytime I go to open adobe animate it doesnt open and instanlty stops responding. Ive deleted and reinstalled, aswell as updated my mac and nothing seems to be work 😉

HiJust an opinion, but I think animate should be free and there should be a free version of it because everyone deserves an easy to use software.  The Alternatives are trash and do not come close to animate.  Adobe animate is so easy to use that everyone deserves it!  I think Animate should not be part of creative cloud but free because beginners do not always have the money to afford this easy to use software.  Because of how easy Adobe animate is, it should be free! -It is just an opinion.  Adobe can listen or not listen.  

Is there a way to import WEBP images into animate? For those working with Canvas would be really usefull in order to save Kb and improve final performance. Thank you!

Hi! I want to create an animation of my character standing on top of a hill, with the camera rotating around him 360, so that as he rotates the landscape rotates and changes as well, revealing the world around him. I'm trying to figure out/conceptualize how I would do this. How would I draw it to animate it? I'm attaching a sketch of the basic scene. So as the camera turns, it would reveal, mountains on his left, oceans behind him, skyscrapers on his right, etc.  Thanks! 🙂 Austin

Constantly turns off by itself. How to write to Adobe that its program does not work?

There needs to be a lifetime subscription for those, along for After Effects, maybe. Also, I'm new to the forum, so yeah.

The new version of Animete doesn't work on MacBook m4! The program is crashing and it is impossible

Imported an AI file into animate and whenever I do this ghosting effect appears but only around certain objects. I can not figure out what is causing this and it seems to get progressively worse once I start moving and tweening the files. Any ideas what is causing these layers to do this?  The image without the ghosting is as it appears in Illustrator. Ghosting is out of the preview in animate but is also present when I render out. 

After a certain point in adobe animate 2019 all of the everything just rondomly turns black and I cant interact with anything!

I've done all I can to try resolves the issue, reinstall animate, reseting preferences, deleting files that may have caused the probem but nothing works.This happened like a year ago but only with 24 but now its both.I'm not like a technician or anything either i cant check if like my hard drive or whatever has to do with itdoes anyone know how i can fix it because uve got stuff to animate and I dont have too much time to do them

Hello. I'm using the Adobe creative cloud app version 6.5.0.348 on my M3 MacBook Pro on Sequoia 15.3.2. I'm trying to update Adobe animate to version 24.0.8. It tries to update but every time it gets to 2% the update fails. I repaired creative cloud already and restarted my MacBook Pro yet the update still fails at 2%. How do I successfully update Adobe animate with creative cloud? 

I am trying to take an adobe animate practice exam but the exam only opens animate and closes Gmetrix without any further intstructions.  Am I missing something? Please help.

When I was closing out Adobe Animate, it asked me if I wanted to save the project since there were changes made. I accidentally clicked "No", and now when I go back into the .fla, it is back to how it was before I clicked "No". Is there any way that I can get it back?
