Animate

Hi,I've been exporting Animate files as html and js and uploading these into Moodle for years.  Suddenly, newly exported files don't display in Moodle.  If I copy an old Animate file and export html and js files, those files will not display either even though the originals do.Does anybody have an idea of how to solve this problem?Thank you in advance!Kevin 

I am unable to create a button in either my actionscript version, or the html canvas version of my file. I imported the file directly in from Illustrator. Everything works fine with the animation.  Once I lock down all layers, and create another unlocked layer to create my button, once the object has been created (a small, grey filled rectangle) right clicking does not give me the option of creating a symbol. Alternately, if I try to select the object and go to "modify" it seems to create the symbol, but double clicking does nothing, and right clicking then gives the option to create symbol (as it nornmally would) but, even trying to create a symbol from this point only results in another symbol button that doesn't work.  A previous file (not imported from Illustrator) worked fine in regards to creating symbols and buttons; performed as expected.  

HelloI'm doing a tutorial in Animate. The issue is is concerned a asset warp tool. On the attached screen is a girl which I could animated (that tutorial wanted me to do). But I have tried additionally animate the same way a trampoline but I cannot use asset warp tool on this object. Why? How to change options for this obiect to be able to use the tool on it. Thank you in advance for your help 🙂

Hello, I am trying to make a drag and drop game in which 3 objects will drag and drop to the same target. One of them is the right one so when the two of them drop into the target it will go to another ''Try again' scene. If the right one is dropped into the target it will go to the 'Well Done' scene. Furthemore i ran into some errors. So far i have created the code for one item. Is there any tutorial for adding an HTML5 Canvas from Adobe Animate to WordPress WITHOUT using an iFrame? I have added animations successfully using an iFrame in the past. But this time I am trying to get the animation as part of the actual code in WordPress via a shortcode so that a lightbox plugin links work and I might possibly be able to hack the code to get the images in it places dynamically using Advanced Custom Fields. But have failed miserably. There should be a way, the output of Animate is just code talking to code, but I can't seem to get it working.

I'm having trouble exporting my animation test with a masked text layer. When I export the animation as a video, the masked text layer disappears and only shows the texture underneath. How do I mask a text layer so the texture remains inside the letters when exported? Thanks!

I'm using frames to make my test app, and I added a custom cursor because I'm bored of the old plain cursor. The frames duplicated my cursor whenever it restarts from the first. How do I fix this?

Hello! I have the latest version of Animate on mac (Monterey 12.2) , but it doesn't allow me to export videos in Media Encoder or in an independent way, I tried to download an older version but it doesn't work either. What do you recommend? Thank you very much in advance

I am working on producing an animation for my job. For some reason, my Adobe Animate project files keep getting corrupted, and when I try to open up my animation again, a whole bunch of layers on the stage will shrink and disappear when I did NOT program them to behave that way. All the keyframes I have so far are for position only and not size.  Is this happening to anyone else? I have had to do this one animation several times over because the files keep corrupting. Note: I have all the layers for the "puppet" on the stage set to graphic and not movie clip.

When I animate symbol and then animate it in the main timeline, the animation of symbol doesnt shows, but if i delete animation in main timeline and make it again, animation of symbol shows. What happens?

When my arrow is over on the timeline, a little white square appears to the lower right side of my arrow and it won't allow me to right click (to access the copy frames, etc drop down menu).Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi!Im teaching myself how to work the VR 360 Beta features in Animate. Ive figured out how to make an interactive movie from my (pre existing) 360 image that will work on FB, but the audio that I add on the timeline never exports with it. Im Exporting Mpeg4 format. Can anyone offer any advice. Id love it if I could get this to work.  Tnaks  Micheline

I tried to export a pretty big Animate File, (about 200 MB I think)It was taking a little while so i canceled the render, made sure to save the file, and then closed every window except for Animate.Tried to export again, and this time it got to the point where Media Encoder opens, but media encoder crashed. Canceled the export, tried to save my file but the save option was greyed out because I already saved.Closed Animate so i could open it again and try to render my .fla.When I opened Animate, i noticed my file wasn't in the open recent list, it wasn't anywhere on my computer either.All i have is a swf file of the animation that i can still view in flash player. Any way to recover my file?

Hi,I'm experiencing a little problem using camera tool in HTML5 canvas.If I set up an animation without camera tool enabled, when publishing, the animation flows up to the end and stops at the last frame of my animation.If the camera tool is enabled, when publishing, the animation flows up to the end but when it reaches the last frame it jumps to the beginning of the animation.Why?Please note that:- no objects are linked to the camera- no actions are placed on the last animation frame- the timeline cycling checkbox in publication settings is disabled any advice? thank you

I'm hearing from a client that my adobe animate banner ads dont look good on a Retina display. I'm designing on Retina, and I don't see any issues. However I need to clarify this.My understanding is when you create an HTML5 file in Adobe Animate, Retina is handled automatically. Is this true? Am I missing a publish setting during export, do I need to add some Retina JS to my exported file? Also one of the images was an illustration, so I imported a SVG, but it looks like that was converted to a .jpg after publish? Cheers!

Which File Do I Select To Add The AIR SDK To Adobe Animate?I'm reading Adobe Animate Classroom In A Book 2021. However, the text book says to select the AIR SDK folder, when I extracted the folder, multiple files, and folders were extracted, not just 1 folder holding everything.  These are the folders that were extracted from the zip file.
