Animate

When I export my animation, to video through Media Encoder, the resulting MP4 doesn't play the animation (using Quicktime for playback...the ultimate goal is to embed it in an email). In Animate, when I test it, the animation works perfectly. I am sure I must have some setting wrong here, but can't figure it out. Using current versions, of both (2022.) I have attached an image of my workspace below. I am brand new to this and would appreciate any advice you might have. What I am seeing when it is working properly are the color wheels spinning. Hello, I am trying to send a message to a parent object via action script with adobe animate. How can this be done?  I'm currently using the following code but it doesn't work with the adobe animate camera. There must be a different way to do this. (MovieClip)(parent.getChildByName("minecraft_particles_bottom")).addChild(newParticle);

I have been using the onion skin for a while now and one day I went onto animate and it stopped working. I can't figure out why it's not working and i've tried everything to get it back on and working. Does anyone know what I can do about this?

Hi all,I just installed Animate for the first time and whenever the program is open my cursor gains a flickering loading wheel, which, when I try to change brush colour, open the file menu, or pretty much any menu, closes them immidiately. I have tried reinstalling, checking for Webcom, but nothing works. Is there a fix for this? 

I have set of buttons, normally I would let button stay as it is and call its instance name to add event listener. But this time I tried to make it moving, I created a classic tween to it, then named the classic tween instance name. Normally, this is the code:this.btn_name.on("click", function() {...});So this time, I just add the tween's instance name before it:this.tween_name.btn_name.on("click", function() {...});And it's not working anymore. I can't seem to find the answer in the community. Please help.

Can someone please explain to me how to access a parent when I have the Adobe Animate Camera active? I'm just trying to do a simple call here: MovieClip(parent).minecraft_particles_bottom.addChild(new MinecraftPotionParticleGreen); This works fine as it is. However, as soon as i add the adobe animate camera this code fails. Is there some other way this can be done? A simple event? If so, how do a share the event between two objects? Why is this happening!? So frustrating that the animate camera causes this stuff to fail.

I´ve encountered a deeply frustrating situation, where I have created a project in Animate, which I wish to export as a .mp4 video file. However when I finally finished my projevct and it became time to export my project, the quality turned out extremely poor regardless of how i changed the settings. This is mindboggling to me, because in the programme my stage area appears perfectly fine, and every single asset/layer looks great. I´ve tried exporting in setting for H.264 (High Quality 1080 HD), H.264 blue-ray, Quicktime, Apple Pro Res and Custom - all with the same dissapointing results The only time I got a slightly better result is when I exported with the settings Animated (GIF) and Default (AME). However in this some of the layers still appeared very blurry, while others were fine, but this file is also extremely heavy.  I suspect, that the error might have something to do with broken or missing linkages, that I´ve imported into the library (similarly to how li

I have an animation that is 448 frames long and I have the following actions:FRAME 365this.button.on("click", function(a) {window.open("http://www.adobe.com", "_blank");gotoAndPlay(437);}); FRAME 436this.gotoAndPlay(365); FRAME 448stop(); I cannot seem to get the button, labled 'button', to escape the loop created in frame 436.  I added the 'window.open("http://www.adobe.com", "_blank");' bit as just a sanity check to make sure the button is working. It is. Does anyone know how to get this to work? Thanks

I use Adobe Animate, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Charchter Animator. All of them need Adobe Media Encoder to export animation. And media encoder is not exporting in my device. I tried to delete it and download it aging but it does not work.I bought the Adobe Craitve Cloud with 940 S.R I hope you find way to fix this ASAP.Thank you, your apps are really worth it.

Hello,When publishing a project in a html5 canvas from Animate, Firefox uses lots of CPU compared to Safari or Chrome even when the animation is stopped. Is there a setting/code to prevent Firefox from using so much CPU.Thanks a lot!

Hi,i have created a movieclip with a tweening of a heart.Now i use this mc five times on the main stage.I can't see the animation on the stage if I hit enter.If I 'test in browser' everything is fine. I'm also not able to 'export as gif'. The gif does not have any animation.If I export the file as a mpeg4 everything ist fine. What do I do wrong? I am glad about any help.

Hi there,Could someone please help me? I have created an animation in Animate and brought it into Affect Effects via the "File >Import > File" option. All of the SWF Files work except for one. The faulty SWF File is blank. I also tested the faulty file in Flash Player with the same result. My Animate layer within the faulty SWF File does have the Camera Tool applied to it. However there are other SWF Files that contain camera moves and they work fine. I did try the advice in the below thread, but I lost my camera moves by following "Modify > Document > (Uncheck) Advanced Layers Mode. https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects-discussions/swf-not-playing-right-in-after-effects/m-p/10036353#M66835 Any ideas?Kind regards,Iota.

I was about to save an animation I have been working on for really long, but as it saved, Adobe Animate froze my whole screen. I resorted to "turning it back off and on again" since I know nothing about technology, and now it's gone. I had to be an idiot and not save so now I'm relying on auto save to undo my mistakes. I work in Adobe Animate 2020

I just ran into a problem copying text from illustrator and pasting it into animate. For some reason, it's being pasted as a movie clip, which I cannot edit as static text. This doesn't always happen, and I've previously copied and pasted text from illustrator that worked correctly as static text. By all accounts, I'm doing the same exact action I did previously, so I cannot for the life of me figure out why the settings are different. I've created the text in animate from scratch just to bypass this issue, but I'm wondering if there's a reason some text will paste differently, or if there's something I can do in the future to ensure the graphic will post as static text.

Hello, the following code will run when I am using a VCam for a camera. However, if i try bringing in the animate camera, the code breaks and gives me an error. Ok So When I Try To Export My Sprite sheet (looks Totally fine in the fla file)but when i select all the stuff to export on the export sprite sheet page when i export it it gets blurry and pixelyand i dont know how to fix it can you please helpand also when i select png-24 it does not let me have a transparent background so please help me. 

Randomly, flash will just crash and the only way to restart flash would be by task manager . Please help

A suggestion:It would be nice if we could scale objects by percentage. PNG's for example.A lot more practical than using the actual size in pixels. Thanks. 

I'm importing PNG's.When I check the properties in the library they have a JPEG compression.I then have to manually revert them back to lossless PNG.Is there a preference I am missing ?It is time consuming to revert every PNG back to...PNG lossless.Thank you.

Hi, I'm going through the Adobe Animate Classroom In A Book Text Book. Right Now the rig map won't let me edit. It looks like I've missed a bone on both of the characaters. I'm not sure where for one of them because it looks like the character does not have as many bones as the rig map. Anyway, I would like to edit the 2 characters again, but the rig map window will not let me edit and I don't know why. Also, when I select the bones and right click, I didn't see any opens to edit the rig map. Maybe, there is something there but I don't know what the click.

As the capacity of the fla file increases, the loading time increases, so we are separating the fla file and making it by moving the link using window.open, but can't we maintain the entire screen?
