Animate

The tutorials tell you to do it exactly like in the video. The screenshot shows the original size of the video.You cannot zoom in or out. I can't see what is being done with my eyes.

can anybody tell me what's up with this? ths is not what png looks like after i export it the background on my exported image is white it's supose to be clear

I could not import any kinds of audio into animate.I have tried converting with media encoder various kind including mp3 and wav.are there anyone with the solution?

Hello im new to adobe animate and i have a problem with the lip sync, I ´Ve followed a tutorial and it works for the first part of my animation, but strangely on an other part of the animation where I've used the same symbol the lip syncing isn't active anymore.could anyone help me ? 🥹

I want, for example, these light stripes to be cut exactly along the outline of the dark green spot (as shown below)all the methods that I have found lead to the fact that the light stripes and the dark green spot end up on two different layers, but I need it all to be on one layer.the only solution that I have found so far is to erase everything along the borders myself, but I think there must be an easier way owo

Just downloaded Adobe Animate on my computer, made a new project and started working. After a while, I found that if I tried to click Save As, Save All, or Save it would send me an error message saying "Unknown error; quitting application". I click "Ok", as that's the only thing I can do. After that, it gives me that reminder of "Save changes to [project name]?" with my only three options being "Yes", "No", and "Cancel". Clicking "Yes" puts me back to the error message in a loop, clicking "No" simply has the app close and my progress gone forever because it wasn't saved, clicking "Cancel" just puts be back on the canvas like I hadn't tried to save in the first place I have no idea what's going on here, and I'd love to be able to properly use Animate without having to do it all in one sitting or leaving the program running in the background when I'm not working on it and praying that my computer doesn't crash or suddenly update. Any advice on how to try and find the source of the p

when you draw something with a line (tool), at first you can press Ctrl and edit the line, and it will remain smooth, but after some time (for example, if you copy and paste the line or something like that) it will stop editing so smoothly and will become more crooked if you try to do this( how can I make it so that it is always edited smoothly?

I just opened up Animate and found a 3 month animation project fla file I was close to finishing turned into an swf without reason. 3 mf months of animation work gone, there is no animation anymore. No recover file, no save file, NOTHING. We're in 2023, stupid bs like unsuccessful file saves should not be happening in any software of any kind. I tried converting the swf back to an fla and it just says some bs "error occurred" message. Literally gone, everything. If anyone here has an idea of what could've caused this (htf could this happen?) and what opportunity, if any, do I have of recovering the animation file in any way, shape, or form... TELL ME. Even if I can recover 50% of the animation, that'll suffice. Oh, and fix this issue. Saves are fundamentally important for any project or software in existence, how this is happening, on an Adobe product no less, is beyond me.

I'm trying to brush through a few strokes on a drawing in Animate. The problem is the fill in the drawing is a specific gradient I made, and when I use the eyedropper on the gradient and then use the brush on the strokes to match the gradient, the gradient color is in a different position. Is there a way to fix this?

whenever i use the brush, it just does this, i cant explain what it does (watch video for example)

I want to create an animation that has a sketchy look to it, however the only tool I can apply a pencil like style to is the Paint Brush Tool. I want to use the fluid brush tool because it has no stabilizer and makes my lines more free handed,  but It seems I can not apply the pencil style to it. How do I go about this?

How do I scale or move an animation without affecting the keyframes or animation?

I put all the code I need inside the movieclip. The movieclip is otherwise empty. Whenever i Export an fla file to a mp4 file, the file is enormously big for no reason, doesnt matter if the animation is complicated or not, i was working on an animation that is less than 30 seconds long, and the file size is 7GB! How do i fix/change this?

whenever i make a new symbol, the symbol immediately gets replaced by some other symbol. and it always gets replaced by the same one, and it doesnt matter what i insert in it, (watch video for proper explanation)

Im using  Adobe Animate 2024 and I've got an armature created (with icon of running man to the left of thelayer name (Armature_26)). Is this automatically a 'pose layer' ?  if so, why I am not able to see the 'joint speed' option, when I select a bone , in the properties panel ?

Animate doesn't allow to export a video containing an imported video.Case example: drawing or animating over an imported video. Animate won't export the video.One is forced to match the two videos together in an editing software, which is often an unnecessary passage.In ancient versions of Flash or Aniamte this was totally possible and extremely useful.Why can't it be done anymore?

Hi everyone,I’ve been working on a project in Adobe Animate and was wondering if there’s a way to use external templates or assets in it. I came across some great ideas for video editing templates by other platforms.Can something like this be used in Adobe Animate? If so, what’s the best way to import and customize it to fit Animate projects?

I just noticed the "deselect all" shortcut, command-shift-A has stopped working. When I try to overwrite it in the Shortcuts settings, it appears as command-shift-three dots  (see attachment), as if the "A" didn't exist on the keyboard.This doesn't depend on the keyboard layout: all the layouts I use have the A in the same position.The strange thing is: if I use "deslect all" from Animate's dropdown menu, it'll start working again. To stop, apparently randomly, again soon later. The issue has started since I updated my Mac system from 14.something to the latest 14.7.1. But I also updated Animate to the latest release, so I have no idea which is causing the problem, if either.I am using a customised set of shortcuts. I don't know if other shortcuts are also affected by this problem, they might very well be. Could trashing the preferences solve it? I don't remember where to find them, though.

In Adobe Animate, using the HTML5 canvas, I've created a boolean variable at the root level called var_grandparents. I've now created a movie clip. When the movie clip gets to a certain frame, it's supposed to reference the variable and, if the variable is true, start another movie clip playing, but I can't get it to see it. I just keep getting 'undefined'.I've triedalert(this.parent.var_grandparents) andalert(Object.var_grandparents)but I just get 'undefined'. Is there a way to reference it, please?

Is it possible to create a custom avatar from existing video, and alter what the person is saying/or singing via input text? If not in Animate, does Adobe do anything like that? 

I've been using Adobe Animate for a college class on my PC, and it was functioning fine until one day randomly, it opened up like this:Just this tiny little black screen. I can't interact with it, I can't move it, nothing. I have no idea what could have caused it to do this, and I haven't found any other reports of something like this happening. My other Adobe apps work fine, Animate works fine on my other laptop, but Animate on my desktop refuses to work. I've tried restarting several times, uninstalled and reinstalled adobe in its entirety twice, made sure my computer was updated and even tried checking to see if my graphics driver was updated just in case that was a problem, but nothing has worked so far and its starting to irritate me because I would really prefer to do my assignments on my desktop and not my laptop. If anyone has any ideas on how to solve it, that would be greatly appreciated.
