Animate

Hi! I am creating an interactive HTML Animate story for the web. I have this worm png that I want to follow my cursor around the stage. I would ideally like it to ease with the cursor and orient itself, with the head following the cursor.  I have found some examples using JS but I have NO IDEA how to transfer the JS code into animate. As in I'm not familiar with references elements on the stage in animate. Any help would be much appreciated. 

Dear Adobe, I know you all might not use Macromedia Flash 8 anymore these days, but what I'm here and concerned for is that I am planing on uploading a SWF file to the internet. And when I have the "play" button inside the MovieClip, it won't head back to the main timeline. I have the main timeline named "MainMovie" and I want it to head back to the main timeline of the beginning when I click play inside the MovieClip. I want you guy's advice to what code I can use for it in Macromedia Flash 8. And I have screen shot below for a good example for you guys.

I have recently moved from an old Windows 7 system to a new, up-to-date Windows 10 system. The OS is now current, drivers are now current, and my Adobe apps are now current.And ... I can't get HTML5 output to work properly. Often, the animation simply won't play. The fonts are swapped out at random. Or it plays locally but not from the server (or the other way 'round.) Etc.I can open a file I created a month ago on my old system, publish new HTML5, and the new files won't work. When I test them, nothing happens. No animation plays. Or it does play but half of the fonts have been replaced. Or it works once and then, after making a minor revision to the FLA, it stops working.I don't even know where to start looking. Is it possible I've got a switch set wrong somewhere? Or ... ? My client wants to revise a series of ads made a couple of months back and I can no longer publish working files. HELP!

I'm working with Adobe Animate 20.5.1.In Animate, my project has properly aligned text:  When I publish my HTML5 project and open it in a browser, the text is not aligned:  This happens no matter if my text is Static, or Dynamic.Is this a bug? Or am I doing something wrong?

Can I change keyboard layout settings(keyboard shortcuts) in Adobe Animate using keyboard shortcuts on the canvas while drawing?

Is it possible to Select MULTIPLE SCENES in order to delete or copy/duplicate?Or,  can this only be done one at a time?

I was trying to create a frames to symbol command but got the error enter edit mode requires a selection, here are all the commands I selected 

So I am completely new to Animate. I use the latest program and use a Pigma Turcom tablet. I'm having difficulty describing my issue, which I know is annoying, so bear with me. When sketching with my pen and tablet, I can't do small strokes. It doesn't like me doing small movements with the brush tool, and just doesn't draw and then registers as a right-click. So sorry for my poor description, I hope to hear back soon because I really need to get a move on with a project. Thank you all in advance.

 Hello, Used to AS2, I'm getting started with HTML5 JavaScript from Animate. In AS2, it was possible, in a movieClip, to target a scene element using _root. For example in a movieClip, we could target an object on the stage: _root.objetScene._visible = false; What is the method on Animate? Thank you for your reply.

Hi forum. I have a sequence of PNG amimations, which were done in a 3D software. But now I need to export them In one vertical colum sprite sheet. can this be done some how using adobe animate? The sample I have attached is what I need.  Thank you.       

Hi TeamI am developing a HTML animation which has 2D content, voice over, subtitles and a few videos.The voice overs are going to be in many languages. Is there a way to change only the language at the flick of a button instead of creating the animation repeatedly in different languages?Best Regards

I'm brand new to Animate and am trying to make a simple map with one frame.  The end result I'd like is an embed code or something that can be put into Weebly so this map will function.  The way it's supposed to work is when I hover over a button (the pink box with a number in it) a movie clip appears which is a white box with a title and photo.  When I click on the button it goes to a website.  I've finally figured this all out and it works fine when I test it in Animate, on a browser, or in an SWF file.   The plan is to create buttons with different info for each tent, but not until I find a way to make it useable on the web.  Help please! The problem comes when I make a mp4 file.  https://vimeo.com/441067927  I get a 5 second long movie and only the white box with title and photo shows up.  There are no button and no actions.  I've tried saving as an animated gif and that doesn't work either.  What do I need to do diff

Hey there, I try to customize my shortcuts in Adobe Animate 2020 but what ever I put in for Vie > ZoomOut is ignored and won't show up in the shortcut dialog window. It just stays empty. I did this before and it worked on my Mac. On the PC it is not. I already uninstalled and reinstalled the App as suggested in another post for a similar problem ... no result. Any suggestions?Thanks a lot

Hi, everyone. I need to stop animation in the game. I guess, I need to add KeyFrame to the timeline for the specific second, and later on to insert "this.stop()" inside of that action. But it doesn't work. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance!

I am working on a cartoon and I was wondering if I put a .gif in the timeline would it play? If it did how about the timing?

In AS3, when you access the x and y properties of a movieclip that is on the stage, you get the actual properties of the movieclip's origin (0,0 in the symbol). In CreateJS, however, the x and y properties return the Transformation Point (the registration point that the Free Transform tool uses). By default the Transformation Point is in the center of the object, but it can be moved graphically within the symbol by the Animate author. I am converting AS3 code to JS and this creates a major problem. I have movieclips that correctly align under AS3 script control, that now are in the wrong places under JS control. (A nasty surprise is if you happen to have moved the Transformation Point by mistake when dragging with the Free Transform tool.) Hi all, I seem to have got my self into a pickle where I used to create animations with sound using flash cs5 and now with flash  (.swf) files going I've recreated my animation with Animate and a HTML5 canvas but no sound! Ive tried using the HTML5 audio component but I dont want to autoplay a sound like that I want it to happen more often with the action on screen. What am I not getting lol

hi, ive stopped animating for a while, and tried to get back into it, i started drawing, but i tried rubbing something out, i randomly regrew and didnt change anything, i cannot draw over pasted items, or rub out drawn lines/drawings is there any known way to fix this issue
