Flash Player at the end of 2020 then Is it feasible to develop FLASH applications now?

When I start to draw a circle, I get straight lines where it should be curved. I have the latest windows 10 update, all my Monoprice 21.5" tablet driver updates, and all the Animate updates. This problem appears nowhere else as I use Photoshop normally and all my other programs don't glitch like this. I've seen other forums about this but everything I tried hasn't worked. Help!!

I have 4 frames with next/prev frame buttons using action script. Everything works except on the 4th frame if I decide to go back to the 3rd frame, I cannot go forward again unless I go all the way back to the 1st frame. Once I arrive back to the 1st frame, I can do whetever I want again unless I arrive at the 4th frame again, then it's the same deal, need to go back to 1st frame to do what I want again. What's going on?

This is a short game for a project. I was wondering if there was somehow a way for animate to "remember" / keep track of the button options chosen in order to lead to certain scenes.I.e. Clicking more of the bad choice buttons will get you to the "bad end" sequenceFor example I have 3 scenes, so clicking the bad option 2/3 times will trigger the bad end, at the end. Can it be done? If so, what codes are needed to achieve this?

This recent switch to Animate, After Effects, and Premiere all having the same colored icons has made finding files and switching between programs pretty annoying. Especially since, on jobs, the shots in Animate and After Effects frequently have the same names. Does anyone know if there is a way to change the icons back to the old, clearly legible ones?  Thanks!

I'm using Animate 20.5 and after a grueling four hours of trying to get auto lip sync to work, i still can't pick which frames I want to use for each sound even though they're visible in frames picker. I am pulling out my hair in frustration. I would really appreciate a fix for this because I can't move on to the next stage of this project without lip sync. 

  

So I have a wacom Intuos P S drawing tablet and it normally works fine. Up until the latest update to Animate, I have had no problems with it but now Animate wont comply with the setting a choose on my tablet. My goal is to make it so that my tablet only works on my second monitor, which is the main one I work on, so I went into the tablets settings and set it so that on all applications and the desktop it would confine the tablet to just the 1 monitor. When I click on the desktop with the pen it pushes the cursor to my desired monitor (setting it to monitor 2), which is what I want, but when I click on Animate it sets it to Full (it registers both monitors and allows the cursor to travel between monitors). However, it works fine before I open a project/file on Animate but as soon as I open something it changes to Full. This only happens with Animate as I have tested it with Photoshop and some others. Hello everyone! First of all, I'm very sorry, I know there are a lot of topics about sounds in Animate CC.Unfortunately, I  still don't know how to solve my problem. I am making a digital book. There are several pages, and there's a narrative voice reading each text.I tried to add music by the simpliest way possible, just by dragging the file from the library on my keyframe.The user can click a button to go directly to the next frame, if he/she doesn't want to listen to the narrator's voice. By doing so, I was expecting the first sentence to turned immediatly mute, and the next one to start at the same time.But I found out that the first sentence won't stop until the sound is over, and it overlaps the seconde one. It seems like we cannot choose effects nor sync possibilities in HTML Canvas.It's my first attempt using Animate CC, so I'm struggling a lot. I have rigged a charater and made it into one big symbol. Within this charater symbol there is a nested symbol for the head and within the head there is another nested symbol for the mouth. How do I bring in the charater rig into a seperate scene? When I duplicate the charater and bring it in a new scene I can change a few layers but the nested symbols are still connected. For example, When I change the mouth symbol on the duplicate charater, it will change on both the duplicate and the origional since the nested symbol "mouth" is techniquly the same. How can I duplicate and start fresh without having to duplicate every single nested symbol and re rig it for every scene?

In the game i am making,  Animate/As3/Swf enemies can get hit often, making the hurt animation replay or gotoAndStop at the specific hurt animation type and gotoAndPlay to a random frame between 1-5. The randomization is needed so when a clump of enemies get hit, they don't look the same each time. This however cause tremendous lag and looking it in Scout, the culprit is the gotoAndStop/gotoAndPlay/nextFrame etc. I even removed the random parts and it is still laggy, dropping to 12 fps each time a clump of 10-20 enemies start hurting. Any recommendations? thanks!

Hi all, I am trying convert an Edge Animate project to Animate CC where single images are loaded into a series of empty movie clips using a frame actions and a xml file. These movie clips are all prepositioned in a single movie clip that has an initiating action to load all the images before playing the timeline and fading up all the images in turn.I have solved the loading of the images once I have the 'imageid' (MC instance) and 'small_url'. hellois there a way of seeing the last frame of an inserted movie clip within the timeline?i have a movie clip that changes size and the last frame is smaller than the first and i want to play off of it, but i have no idea of how small it is, to match it.thnak you.

I want to work on the color layer separately, but the paint bottle recognizes the layer separately, so it doesn't fill up.Is it possible to do Photoshop but not Animate?

Hi,there used to be an option to convert old fla-files to canvas, that option is gone in the latest version of Animate 20.5. Is there any other way to convert to canvas och html5?

Hi teamI'm developing an interactive animation in HTML5 canvas using adobe animate. The animation runs over 500 secs with over 15,500 frames in it.A peculiar issue has cropped up.After publishing, while running the HTML file in a browser, the animation slows down erratically post 250 seconds.Am I missing anything here?Need your support as we are running out of time.Thanks in advance. Regards 

Is there any way to change which version of animate is installed? The current release is unusable for me due to an apparently unsolvable issue with the pen tool which I had no issue with in previous versions; how do I go back?

Hi - Im trying to create a drag and drop game to share for training purposes with co-workers. I have a stage base and coded the symbols to drag and drop, but I am struggling with the format : what is the right way to go to create something that is "shareable" and doesnt lose its interactivity? If I convert to .exe, the tests I ve sent out wont open if the person doesnt have adobe Air, I cant embed in an email, Im stuck and lost! Have watched and read countless tutorials and forums, cant seem to find an answer anywhere! Help!

Shortcuts are not working It works when I restart the program but it stops working a few minutes later.like I need to press B button to use a brush or press Q to resize.

Hi everyone I am having a hard time tying to auto lip sync with the new updates.Can anyone out there help me out the old version was fine but this new update I have no idea how to get. 

Can I disable some of the layers while I am exporting the whole animation with out deleting the layer?

I am new to adobe animate (and animating in general) and I am tryong to animate a drawing of a family jumping in a lake. The girl in the back animated perfectly but the other two people wont work. I composed the model of the swimmer from several [arts (i.e legs, head, torso, etc.) and merged it into one symbol. Then i go into the symbol and split it into individual layers so that I can animate each body part seperately while they are jumping. I do this just using classic tween. This worked for the first swimmer, but the other two won't work. The body parts slowly float to a different position, then teleport to their final destination at the final keyframe. I checked to make sure the registration point hasn't changed, and it hasnt. I don't undertand why this works on one swimmer but not the others.Anyone have any ideas?(for clarification the girl in the attached video is working as intended, and the boy is not)
