i try to export my animation to motion xml to get a sprite sheet. but then this error appears, could i get a little help?

So after battling with the warp tool as it was converting my vectors into raster files dropping the resolution I found out you can prevent this in the Drawing preferences panel. Unclicking "Auto convert vector to bitmap". I thought I was home free, reimported my vector, and applied the warp tool to find out As soon as I did it modified my shape adding weird wabbles. Has anyone else experienced this? 

When I work on the character in Adobe Animate, when I export media encoder, the parts in my character are separated. plz help

So I'm making a Burger Builder game, where the user can build their own burger by dragging and dropping the burger parts, essentially stacking them. However, I have a problem with the layers because if the user wants to have the patty as the first layer in the stack, and they want lettuce as the second layer, but then the lettuce is stacked behind the patty (if you get what I mean). When I use the "Bring Object to Front" code snippet, when I go to the next scene, it looks like this, like the objects I clicked are showing up in the next scene, and layers that are hidden shows up. Is there a way to fix this? Because the code snippet makes it that everything in the scene is clickable, so how do I make it that only certain objects (the burger parts)  are clickable to bring to the front and leave everyting else be? I'm very new to this,  so if you can, I'd like to be explained like a 5 years old "monkey see monkey do".

I would find an iPad version of Animate useful.I'm drawing on my iPad using Fresco, then exporting the PSD to Animate on my iMac for the animation.I can onion-skin my drawing in Fresco, to get an idea of the movement but is there a way to get an instant replay of my animation as I go?I'm using a simple program called FlippaClip which does just that, but I'd prefer to be working in an Adobe program, so that it links with Creative Cloud and is fully compatible with Animate and Premiere Pro.

Hi guys, trying a new solution to a problem. Is it possible to have different movies play on the main timeline depending on which frame the main timeline is currently on when a button is clicked? This is the code I have tried but not working. Hello, so I have recently gotten a new drawing tablet and I wanted to make some shine for hair, I turned on the use pressure setting and it didn't work, its on but theres no pressure, please help me fix this

Hello everyone! I have two banners, one 1920x1080 and the other 1080x1920. I need the 1920x1080 banner to be displayed on the website when the page is in landscape orientation, and the 1080x1920 banner to be displayed when the page is in portrait orientation. How can I combine these two .js scripts into a single HTML file to ensure everything displays and works correctly?

I decided to try out the fluid brush in Animate but for some reason the brush gets a large initial delay when making a stroke, and continue to create a delay towards my cursor until I let go, which creates a quick line from its current location to the cursor once released, which ends up making the line look awkward. The same can be said for the mouse. However, when I bring my window into my main monitor, the fluid brush has no problems. The issue only occurs whenever I use Animate on my tablet. All other brushes are fine.The version I am using is Adobe Animate CC 2023, v23.0The display tablet I'm using is an XP Pen Artist 13.3 ProI've tried to show the delay problem using my tablet but it doesn't show the cursor in the video properly, so I've made a video with me using the mouse to show the delay better.If needed, I can provide a better example with the tablet

Hi all! First time posting to a forum for advice like this, but I haven't been able to find anything thus far to fix this issue, so I'm here.I updated my macbook pro to Sonoma 14.2, and my animate 2024 is up to date (as of dec 2023), but nearly every time I try to use the color swatches, or draw/fill with different colors it crashes unexpectedly. This issue only started as soon as I updated my computer, and I don't have the option to revert back to the last OS I was on. Are there any solutions to this? Thanks so much.

I'm having trouble with the clickability of a button. I have to move my cursor in a very specfic place, right on the text, to get the hand cursor to appear. Any ideas? The graphic was made in Illustrator and is a rounded rectangle and a text box. They are grouped in one layer in Animate. 

I'm very new to Animate CC, and I have no clue why my oval tool is drawing "pacman" shapes instead of...y'know...ovals. I was following a course on the program, and was experimenting with the start angle, end angle, and inner radius on the "Oval Primitive Tool". Is this what caused it? I couldn't find any solution to this, so any help is appreciated. 

The Flying Dutchman logo exists (& displays) in other pages on this website, but in trying to update said logo, bizarreness ensues ...And, I know it must be my lack of awareness ...Most of this website had Flash content that I transmorgraphied through Animate a couple of years ago - page headers (mainly) that I could translate (some really involved Flash pages were abandoned) ...Re-building this particular page (as a test) is kicking me & it would seem to be simple ...       All that is being changed is the logo (to include the Jamaican flag as the wooden shoe's tail) ...

One day my ui completely broke. For some reason I can't have more than one "window" open (ie timeline and toolbar, properties, whatnot). On top of that my toolbar is completely empty. I see absolutely nothing online about how to fix this. If I could just find a way to reset this to defualt that would be nice.

Well I’m using Adobe Animate CC 2018 on  Windows 10 I‘m trying to erase my drawing but it doesn‘t work the way I’m erasing for example I want to erase a little part of my drawing (using the ereaser) but it erases the whole of it or even sometimes it doesn‘t erase , it change the shape of it....I did try to fix it by changing eraser mode , eraser shape , work with layers and..but it wasn’t useful.

When creating HTML5 banners, the filesize limits are really draconian sometimes. The best workflow for keeping both reasonable image quality and filesize is to prepare image assets in Photoshop, export them to PNG or JPG and squeeze them in TinyPNG or similar. But after importing those into Animate and Publish, we discovered that Animate keeps stubbornly "optimizing" them, resulting in twice the filesize. A checkbox "Do not fiddle with my images" in Publish settings would be really an improvement, I guess...

I still use Adobe Director Lingo once a while. There used to be a discussion forum but it's gone. Is there an archive that I may search for answers that people asked before? Is there another public forum for this old software? I have a question in sorting a list. When sorting, it sorts in alphabetic order. How do I know the order of the sort so I can find the items in a different list?For example: list1 = ["aaa", "zzz", "mmm", "bbb"]list1.sort would make it ["aaa", "bbb","mmm","zzz"], but I'd like to know the changed order is 1, 4, 3, 2 if the original is 1, 2, 3, 4. I need this so I can pick up the value from another related list based on the new order after sorting. Sorry to post it hear. I thought there were many Lingo developers moved to ActionScript in the past.

Animate allows me to export the sequence however when I look at the hundreds of files they are all blank white.

All my codes works except for 1 for actioscript 3 in animate. i get an error Scene 1, Layer 'actionscript', Frame 1, Line 19, Column 6 1120: Access of undefined property counter. I am not too sure what to replac counter with.
