Animate

Hi everybody, hope have a nice day,    I'm very confused of how to do a digital clock with date in Adobe Animate (HTML5), i trying to move some of my old clocks doed with Flash, but non of these works on html5, ¿there's some guide or tutorial to do a clock?   Thanks!

Attempting to go through a tutorial asking for an asset. No assets are visable.  I have the Assets tab open I can click on Default or Custom and go through the list but nothing is available. I'm getting the message "No matching assets found!"

Hey all,Im having an error where on save animate says unknown error; quiting application. I've looked through other forum posts but I couldnt resolve the issue. I have reinstalled, installed in different locations, deleted preferences and installed different versions but nothing seems to work. Any help would be very appreciated 

I have upgraded my CS4 to CS5 on MAC OSX and i'm having problems saving new and existing fla files. It doesnt always do it but it's very anoying when you have done some work and are unable to save it.I get this message:unable to save document as (file name)please try saving to a different filename or location.even if i try to save as to a different location i get the same message, this ONLY happens in flash CS5 and does not do it on any other application or even flash CS4. To put it bluntly i am absolutely furious with this and when you pay this amount of money should not get this hassle for such a simple action.I have tried phoneing the adobe support line and it's a joke, you can't even understand the operator to even get anywhere and i just gave up having to repeat myself and asking them to repeat themselves.I would be grateful if someone out there knows an answer to this or have a contact email for adobe support that i can email them direct. Hi everyone,I'm new to Adobe Animate. And just noticed that there's a new Animate version, namely 24.I'm not sure what this means: "This release of Animate runs natively on the apple silicon chipsets.."Does that mean that running it on a regular Intel CPU will come with disadvantages, or even problems?  

why the heck does adobe animate pencil lining do this it annoys me

So upon searching the forums regarding this subject, I came across a discussion made back in 2015. The poster asked if a keyboard shortcut could be given to the "swap color" tool on Adobe Flash (Animate). The poster did not get any effective solution other than being told to file a feature request to Adobe... Suppose I have a symbol my, and I copy two copies, both of which come from the symbol my. Now I can find the current symbol I selected through the symbol my in the library, but I cannot select the symbol my copy1 or my copy2.For multiple copies of symbol my, is there a way for jsfl to find and select cpoy1 or cpoy2?In addition, I did not layer these three symbols. They were all placed on one layer. I wanted to find copies of them to edit, which was very difficult.I think if you layer the symbol you can find it, but finding it on one layer is difficult, and the copy of the symbol doesn't have any information for reference.Please help, thank you all

New to Animate, thanks for the help.  I am trying to animate a simple character walking.  Behind him is the background of a hallway.  It moves right to left as the character walks.  Then the character enters the bedroom which is a new background.  It also moves from right to left, then stops.  He interacts with another character and the background dissolves to another scene (background #3).  I'm having trouble getting from one background to the next.  I used new layers for the 2nd background (bedroom) and the 3rd background (new scene).  The classic tween works on the first background but not #s 2 or 3.  Can't find a tutorial that seems to address this.  Again, thanks.  

When i open Adobe Animate, it just keeps saying "Creating Workspace" and nothing happens.

For adobe animate I've been trying to use the keyboard shortcuts specifically for frames F5 F7 more specifically, none of those shortcuts are working I have tried many other things like checking settings and making sure I'm selecting things correctly. Unsure of what to do. 

Hello, during rendering the animation does not load completely. When previewing the animation, all layers are active. The animation is as it should be. when I want to click publish or export, only one layer is animated. I made animations for all the symbols that I created myself. Well, during the final animation you can see the animation of only one character.    

Why are most other Adobe Software programs up to date and working with Mac OS Ventura but not Adobe Animate? I mean Adobe Animate is not even on the compatible with macOS 13 Ventura website. When I copy keyframes on a symbol that is motion tweened and paste it in a different part of the timeline, it just re-scales and re-positions the layers, messing up my whole animation. In this case, I am animating a walk cycle and simply trying to copy and paste the keyframes so I don't have to indivually animate everything again. Could anyone possibly help me to find a solution towards this problem? Thank you 🙂

ok going to try this last part again(see my other posts as we have solved getting this IN cc and i can even make  video off the tricks this  way. the script was HUGELY helpful in adapting the clothes however and cutting errors in typing. how would i unload the placeholder files from the displaylist and add the art TO the displaylistas that seems to be how this was done.  this has no code yet but since visual results seem to get the best results i created this mockup if whati want to do.....   what i am also noting is this generates this FULLY in memory and and does not make a new swf ,etcassets are untouched by generating the preview image in the original game.     

Hey, this is my first time posting something to the Adobe forum, so hopefully I'm speaking in the right place.So, I'm playing a file that I had animated over the past month. Roughly 70-75 seconds long, uses just under 29 MB, and runs on ActionScript 3.0. When I'm playing a file inside, everything seems to be going normal except for some output lag probably caused by the density of symbols in some areas. That's not really my problem here. The problem I'm having here is that sometimes, the tweens of symbols (primarily nested symbols) tend to glitch and show themselves being extremely buggy. Not all tweens do this, but even if a tween looks completely normal in the file, it will tend to do actions post-export that should not be possible.An example of this I will provide is a symbol that moves down through a Classic Ease. Some symbols nested within this symbol will pulse colour at specific intervals, but as a separate symbol they do not move other than the Color Effects being tweened (it j

Hello!  I'm a long time user of Animate, but I'm not a coder and never learned action script, so forgive me if this is too basic a question. Is there a way to create actions in Animate, the same way as there is in Photoshop? Here is what I want to do: my workflow makes it so I'm constantly changing the looping behavior on symbols (from "play single frame," to "loop," to "play once," etc.)  These buttons are not available in the hot-key menu, so I am constantly having to click on them with my mouse. It would be nice to map these to a hot-key, since it would make my workflow much faster. It ocurred to me that Photoshop has the actions panel, which lets you "record" button clicks and then play them back. There is an "Actions" panel in animate, but all I can find about it is how to use it inside of a published project, to add custom behaviors. Is there a way to use this panel to achieve the thing I'm trying to do? Alternatively, are there extensions that will help

Can't EXPORT to Video Media

I'm trying to scroll down to previous layers but the scroll bar moves without moving the window. can anyone tell me what is wrong? 

I'd like to create an animation in Adobe Animate and bring it into Figma. I thought I could perhaps just export it as an .mp4 and bring that into Figma, but the colours might not match up properly (e.g. the video + website need a #000 background) So I thought maybe I could export the AA animation as HTML (if thats even possible) and maybe import that into Figma? Basically Im just trying to avoid having to create the same animation twice, once in AA and once in Figma

Hello everyone! When I try to "refine tween" of a Camera layer's motion tween in Adobe Animate, the only property curve I can select is the X axis. The Y axis, depth, Z, etc. are all un-clickable. This is not the case for other layers. Any ideas why I'm running into this issue? Thanks!!! \
