Animate

I am a character designer. I am facing problem with my animate 2023 application. Whenever I create a character using brush tool it starts lagging specially , when i work on the hairs and beard of that character. It is effecting my work productivity.  Kindly Help.

Hello-I've seen some posts about this but no real solution.  We have a production where we are making 5 minute episodes in animate. We are creating the radio plays for the animatics in Adobe Premiere. We are using the standard 24.000 FPS (not 23.976).  When we import these files to Animate, either as MP4, WAV, or whatever, the audio falls out of sync over time.  Becoming very noticable at 1 minute, and unbearable by minute 4. As a very experienced editor/animator, our animation house and I have been unable to figure out where this glitch is happening.  It must be a frame rate issue. Are there sequence settings in Adobe Animate that can be found?   The exported audio is 48,000, WAV. Any help would be appreciated.

i have an Xp-pen artist 15.6 pro and im trying to learn adobe animate for simple animation, but i the short key and the pressure dont work proprely. the zoom wheel work only when i zoom out and there are no pressure when i use the pen. im new with this can someone help? thx  i have the last driver for my xp-pen (3.4.11) and the last version of animate.

So basically everytime i export my animation, even though in the app it looks fine, when i export it every symbol i used the frame picker one glitches like that, the eyes used to do the same but i used another (bad) technique to fix it, it wouldnt be a problem if the other technique wasnt so bad (making a copy of the symbol everytime i wanted to change it), since it takes too much time and space to do.Here is the file on animate and both the glitched exports.

Hello, newbie, I have a problem that I can't solve. I have 4 movieClips that I can move using the mouse: clip1, clip 2.... When clicking on a clip, I want to save a myVar variable which gives me a numerical value of the clip I click on and based on its position in the recip variable. For example, clicking on clip0, myVar = 0, clicking on clip2, the myVar = 2... Hi Everyone, I'm doing some animation with the asset wrap tool. I noticed it creates a kind of a symbol "wrappedasset_01" etc., but it does not appear in the library. Any way to rename it? The problem is that I'm doing several animation on different files and then combining them. since the wrap tool creates for each one the same "name" when I copy they overwrite each other. Any ideas? Same as above in the question. Is there a way or code that will allow me to save the javascript code that is placed on frames on the main timeline to a text document with the ".txt" extension? I saw that there is an option to save things from library like: sounds and images. But is there an option to save all the javascript code? Thank you for your answer!

Why, when I scale shapes in the "position and size" menu, do they scale from the top left corner? I want to scale shapes to specific pixel sizes, and I just want them to scale from the center. Scaling from the transform menu does so from the center reference point, but it only works with percentages. There's got to be some simple explanation for this. I'm experienced with Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, and I'm very confused why they'd make scaling work so differently in Animate.

kinda wierd questin but is there a way to hold left click and press f6 at the same time to be faster animating?

Hey! I've received this problem when trying to export or use any Action Script 3 features on my animation. It just tells me "Error Initializing Java Runtime Environment. You may need to reinstall Animate." Safe to say I did and nothing happened. I've looked at other articles on this site but most are outdated and nothing worked for me. I am on Adobe Animate 2021! If anyone knows a solution, please let me know! Thanks!

I bet none of you have heard this before... I have been working with Flash since 1998 and I have 25 years experience in higher education. Along the way I became darn good at Flash. I built complex games and training simulations (using video) and even a rudimentary LMS. I became very popular with online instructors who wanted me to build ineractive, engaging and effective assets for their online courses.  In 2019 something bad happened to me at work. I was injured after requesting an accommodation that was denied. I missed four months of work. I made the mistake of filing an EEOC complaint while I was on medical leave.  I was forced to return to work on March 31, 2020. And guess what? Retailation started that same day. My very first project was to convert 9 extremely complicated Flash games and interactions to HTML 5 Canvas. Olá! Sou iniciante no animate e, quando preciso deixar uma animação que usa o classic tween mais lenta, acrescento frames. Porém, estou criando animações que devem seguir um áudio, então, não posso aumentar a duração da animação. Por enquanto, só consegui fazendo frame a frame...Vi os gráficos de ease in e ease out, mas não consegui entender muito bem; não consigo criar uma parábola ou deixar velocidade constante, porém, mais baixa... Como faço para deixar os movimentos mais lentos sem aumentar o tempo?

Hi, I've been having an issue with the latest version of Animate. Whenever I try change the different styles of line width the software will crash.  Here's a photo of the error I get 

I'm working on a set of html5 ads that use the font "Calluna" (OTF, Adobe fonts) and the kerning is weird around certain letters (a, e, l,  etc.) but not others. Checking / un-checking auto-kern does nothing, font works perfectly fine in indesign and illustrator. Any suggestions? Never seen this before, totally lost.

Hi there.I have the latest version of Animate, but I am forced to use version 2021.0.9 because that is the last version that does not have this bug. I believe it is a side effect of the "scale, skew and flip propagation" added to layer parenting. (And no, ticking/unticking that option has no effect)When I create the parts for a character, I have them all as different frames in the one symbol. If the characters are symmetrical, as they often are, I don't create separate images for, say, the right and left hands. I draw the left hand, and then I copy that symbol and flip it (-100% x scale) to use it as the right hand. I'm sure a lot of animators do the same. I animate with layer parenting and Motion Tweens, with the body parts on separate layers, and have never had an issue with this.But if I open any of my projects with Animate version 2022 or later, any layer parenting structure that utilises flipped symbols is destroyed - the flipped symbols are suddenly at the wrong angle. Hi, i have a project consisting of multiple bitmap objects that are all transparent. when I move them around, around some of them here is some sort of transparent square that blocks the things under it. i don't know what to do please help!!!

On about 9/26/2023, Adobe Animate suddenly failed to publish my animation. Publishing processes until about 77%, then a secondary menu pops up saying something to the effect of "Error on line 682, javascript out of memory".I tried publishing a different animation, and initially i had success, but after trying to publish the first animation again, the latter animation will no longer publish, throwing the same error. Since the problem began, updating javascript resulted in one successful publishing of the original animation, but no troubleshooting has resulted in successful publishing since.Although a similar problem seems to have affected other users throughout the years, I have been able to find no solution online.

Hi there, I had an ease that I really liked, and I was wondering if there was anyway I could save it as a preset in Adobe Animate so it could be in all animations without having to copy presets and all that.

in animate im creating moving letters but some have a border around them and i seem to remove them any suggestions ps im very new to adobe.

I am with Mac Studio M1 and since I updated to MacOS Sonoma last week, Animate (23.0.2 build 103) does not open the browser. I have to do it manually. The question is how long it usually takes Adobe to fix an issue of this type. Thinking that the project is urgent, perhaps the alternative would be to return to the previous Mac OS.

Any project I open up on Animate CC 2018 will not let me edit it, open any windows, draw or do anything. The cursor is just a gray triangle with an exclamation mark in it and will not change to any tool. The solution I found online explained how to fix it with CS6 and earlier windows versions, but nothing with Animate CC or Windows 10. I've updated all my drivers, updated my computer, and even the flash player. I didn't want to go editing any files without knowing for sure what the solution is, and one of the solutions was the recreate the preferences for the application. Any info would be great on any solutions, what the problem is, and how to recreate the preferences would be great if that would even help me out. I'm not sure if you would need any more information to help out, but let me know and I'll help any way I can
