COMPATIBILITY WITH WINDOWS 11ROGER MALLISON

Hello! I've been trying to save my WAV file as mp2 and keep getting an error message that "my destination might be full or no longer available." I followed the previous thread from 2018 on this and tried all those suggestions but nothing has worked. I get the same message no matter what I try. My coworkers on older versions of Audition have managed to do this - I have both 2021 and 2022 right now.

I cannot load Waves plugins into the fx rack of Audition. This is on a Dell laptop with Windows 10. When I scanned the plugins, it gave me an error message saying something about Python 39. The plugins show up in my list but they will not load. Please help.

Audition is introducing audio clicks when I record a wave file. The recording starts out fine, then about a minute in clicks or hits start being introduced. This used to be a rare and intermittent problem for me, but now it's become an everyday occurence. I'm on a laptop with Windows 10. All other adobe products I use regularly-- Premier and Character Animator -- work very well on this laptop, so I know it's not the machine. Is this a setting or a latency issue I'm not understanding?Thanks for any help.

I need to upload the file into WEb Tunes. Its urgent!!!!! Before you upload your song, please make sure that files are in an accepted format.  Stereo wav files in 24 bit (sample size) with 192 kHz (sample rate) are recommended, but 16 bit (sample size) with 44.1 kHz (sample rate) files are also accepted.  How I can change the format of my file? I jhave a file of M4A. I need to convert it into KHZ or BIT. Please, help me!!!!

Hello. Recently ive been doing a great deal of work with Premiere Pro. One thing ive noticed recently is that if working on several projects if i dont watch it i can find 20 40 50 gigs worth of junk back up files and renders i dont need and killing my small hard drive. So my question is when using audition to make recordings sometimes it as you can imagine takes multiple takes to get something down. So when i stop the recording and go up  to new Audio file are there any unwanted residual files stored taking up space or when you go to new recording its just a new recording with no left over? Thank you

hallo I have desktop pc 2009 with gigabyte motherboard EP43  and onboard audio  but all runs  well,audition or ANY other trial of a daw worked well RECORDING sound on win7 64 bit, but nothing possible on win10 or win 11 been trying for 3 weeks, solution  ? ???  put NO input makes that I can  not record sound,either from a file on the desktop, or from a cassettedeck, there is NO  microphone on this pc nor attached in the NO input suggestion I can open a sound file and  play it, I can not record in this case,logically if there is no input ,no stereomix,no line in  then no signal in the output     solution ? ???privacy security allow  microphone access ON and allow apps to use microphone ON yes then  there is no MME I can record BUT immediately a very severe reverb almost echo appears I work with professional headphones so as there is no microphone there must in this case  be a feedback in the system   choosing was

I need to export audio projects (podcasts) so that my colleague can work on them.Everything works fine except that effects that are referenced in the files are not present, they seem not to go through the export? Does anyone have a solution for this?  

Hello friends!  I've been trying to nail down some "go to" settings for the multi-band compressor in Audition, applied specifically to my VO tracks. I know that this is largely subjective, but I'd love some foundational settings that I can build on. I have done a bit of research on this, and most of what I find is more for vocals and not so much narration. I'm sure that my frequency levels are not correct for most voice ranges. I also find that I'm making a lot of my voices more harsh rather than just having a good presence.  Would be grateful for any recommendations / screenshots of settings, etc. that you are willing to share here. Many thnaks!Stephen

I have a Yamana YPG-535 piano, and I bought (from Guitar Center, so I got the right info) a USB cord that works to connect it to my PC. I installed all the relevant drivers, and I can see that the computer recognizes the piano. However, the only "input" item I can see is my external microphone. I unplugged that, but still it doesn't see the piano. I can't seem to find any help on this. How do I import tracks from the piano to Audition? Thank you!

Himay I know why audition cc spetral view is always stuck at 21K on my recording flac ?I was thinking that audition cc  does read the audio and does show the spectral view according the audio loaded but i guss i'm wrongI set spletracal view prerefences to default (resetting the preferences , i have created a backup before)window function Blackman-Harrisspectral resolution 512decibel 132is there a way a way to increase the the display Hz?you can see in the screenshot there is audio above the 21.9kHzthanks 

Hi all! I'm editing a multitrack audio file for my podcast and it is getting unviable as I have to trim out every silence to have a more dinamic interaction between all guests.I can not use the Diagnostics > Delete Silence function because it does not keep the lenght of the file, and it also does not break, it gives me a long and unpaused track.Is there any feature that cuts off the silence automatically leaving the tracks like this?The empty spaces were silences like this:I have also tried to use Diagnostcs > Mark Audio but if I can not delete what is between markers (or at least cut the track in all markers) this function is also not useful for what I need.Does anyone has a cool tip for me? I really appreciate because my files are 2h long and it is taking 10X that to edit...Please help!! 😃Mari

I have always sung karaoke by playing the audio track and the microphone track, but to be able to listen well while singing, I need the headphone to be connected to the M-AUDIO TRACK II card as well as the microphone. With the headphones I hear what I speak with the microphone but the sound of the mp3 track is not heard when I hit play inside audition 2022. I have tried all the audio hardware options that appear there until the track is heard but no I get it, and I know I did before. Let's see if you can help me because it drives me crazy. Hi. Have made some presets in the Effects Rack and saved them with different names. The name shows as long as I keep working. But if I close Audition and open it (and the same session) later, the name of the preset I had assigned to the track doesn´t show in the window anymore. Instead, the name has returned to (Custom) - even if the correct effects are there. Have quite a few presets that look similar in the Effects Rack view, but with different settings under the hood. So I really need to know which of them are assigned to the different tracks when I return to work after a break. Quite time consuming to examine all the details in each effect setting do determin which setting is which. Anyone who knows if I somehow can fix this myself, or is it a bug?

I am measuring the frequency in HZ of a sound file. When I select all (ctrl A), I get a frequency of 74.9 Hz (average frequency, Blackmann-Harris, area frequency FFT). But when I scan the file in the frequency analysis window, I get a frequency of 584.9 HZ although there is not a single frequency of that size in the file. What does the scanning procedure do? Accumulating frequencies? By the way, the scanned values are more in the range of Audacity frequency analysis.

I am double-checking frequencies of sounds that I measured in 2004 with Audition, now with Adobe Audition 2022. They are different although the same sound files are used. Sometimes they are similar, sometimes they are very different. Why is this the case?

None of the other suggestions worked for me and is irritating.  I cant export a single file, either.  It comes out the correct length of time, but no audio. Newest version of this crappy software.

Hello, This is really baffling to me, I have no idea what I did. For some reason all of a sudden in my mutltitrack session all three tracks I am working with are showing up in each track, and not separately.Obviously this is NOT what I want, I have on idea how I did, I have no idea how to undo it. Each track of audio should be separate. PLEASE HELP!!! I am so stumped and DO NOT want to have to start over 😞 Visual of the full workspace, Tracks 1&2 are wrong, 3&4 are what it should look like.

hii don't know but i have audition cc 2018 & 2015 and when i import a file i miss always the fade out iconi fix it only creating a multi track with sample rate 48000now my question , i work mostly with flac files (mostly @صفحتي علي ادوبي.1  ripped from cd ) and other audio like mp3 or mp4 (many of them have a sample rate of 44.1)when i drag my 44.1 audio on the multi track with sample rate 48000 i got this warningnow my question  ?outside mp3 or mp4 lossy format , but i work with flac too , when i Mixdown section to a new file or export multitrack   @ 44.1 (because i have to burn )1)do I commit a big mistake i term of degraded audio ?2)working with flac audio @صفحتي علي ادوبي.1 import to a multitrack session with sample rate @48000 and after re-sample at 44.1 , do I lose audio quality ,audio frequency ?thanks Ps Windows 10 pro 64bitsorry for my poor english

So, I've realiised just how dumb we're all being in this issue. If you are running a modern, expensive Mac or MacBook (Like me: Montery OS on a MacBook M1 Max Pro) the menu bar acts just like any drop-down bar. All the goodies are there, honestly. Hey, recorded 8 audio tracks, just like that, no session created.Selected them all and accidentally clicked on "link media", by the time i hit on cancel, all my audio tracks just vanished, and no ctrl+z or anything seems to work.Went in the auto-saved folder and nothing appears either.In the temps folder i cannot open anything.The video shows what happened  Just lost a verry importatnt day of workdoes anyone know if i can get them back ?  plz help Thanks in advance

Hi all I'm new to this discussion group and have the following ask: I recently purchased a Blue Yeti Mic and plugged it in to my Mac Pro (Late 2013) running the lastest MacOS. When I open Audition CC, the mic disappears from both the Sound part of System Preferences and also Audio Midi Set Up. I then have to restart the base unit which did resolve it until I opened up Audition again which caused the same issue: no mic visible at all. I checked under the System Hardware report and the mic is there - you just cannot access it at all as it disappears. I have unistalled Audition CC and all seems to be working fine, even after multiple restarts. I do like working with Audition CC but until I can figure this out, I will not be reinstalling it. 

I have an old OLD Lenovo that I've been running Adobe Audition 3 on for years, but it's done. I need to buy a new desktop that'll run Adobe Audition 3. I guess my bugdet is around $1,000 (give or  take a few hundred,)I'm not a computer guy (announcer type) but I need a good rig.
