does anyone know how to get back to continuous play while highlighting and deleting in a audiofile without it skipping to the highlighted section?

I cant export my audio file and there is a message further - An error was encountered . "Unable to write data to the temporary file system." What am I going to do?  

Hello, in 23.3 when I press M or F8 in a wav file it puts the marker and then is automaticly zooms out. Anyone else having this problem?

Hi,I have a problem getting the Text to Speech functionality to work. I have added new languages to Windows 11 and chose James (Australia) as Default Voice in Settings/Time & Language /Speech. I have also tried to add ones via Windows Narrator. Even though they seem to work in Windows, eg in the Narrotir, they will not show up in Effects / Generate / Speech and only the basic US/UK voices are available. What is going wrong, and how to fix it? Thanks in advance for the help, magnus  

I don't know why this is happening, but I'm trying to remove all parts of a clip except for the talking using the diagnostic panel and the "remove silence" option. I kept moving my thresholds down to have Audition stop trying to tell me talking was silence, I had it at -57 db, above would be audio at 25ms, and below at 200ms would be silence. I don't know if these parameters are messing with it, but even audio that is -30 to -20 for multiple seconds is still considered silence. This seems like a major issue for what is an extreme time-saving feature. I just updated to the newest version last night and I am still having the same issues. I am also using a .wav file if that changes anything.

Hey everybody,so has of recently my Adobe Audtion is not working. At first I thought maybe it was the app or my laptop, but to make the story short, it turns out that its my sample rate of my mic and my laptop speakers not being the same rate.  Alrighty, so I looked up everything that i can do to fix this and at the same time researching if it could be some other problem but I'm 100% sure it's the sample rate. Last time i used it was like 3 months ago and it worked find and I've had used it ever since and even then it would work find. My mic, it's a hyper x mic btw, not sure if that changes anything. Anyway, I've tried changing it but my speaker is all grayed stuck at 24 bit, 48000hz, while for my recording I can change it but it can only go up to 2 channel, 16 bit, 48000hz. Ive tried everything and this is my last resort so if i can get any type of help with this, I would really appreciate it! Here are the screenshots:

I have two fairly good condenser mics that I would like to use for a two-mic set-up for Audition. I am using Windows 10. I know I need some kind of interface. Obviously I will need phantom power for both plus two headset inputs. Should I use a mixer or a simple interface like the Scarlett? My price range is between 200.00 and 400.00. Any help would be appreciated.

I recently updated to 23.5 on my Windows 10 machine. When using the Essential Sound panel to do automatic ducking on a 5-minute on hold program, my computer slowed to a crawl. I checked the task manager and Audition was using over 20 GB of RAM. Anyone else experiencing this on the latest version?

Hello everyone,I have downloaded and installed Adobe Creative Cloud desktop, and then installed Adobe Audition.  All went good.  When I launched Adobe Audition, it gave me a couple of error messages regarding missing DLL files.  I checked the Adobe folder for those 2 missing DLL files and they're actually there.I have been doing some research about the issues similar to what I have, and one post mentioned that Adobe Apps won't work on Windows Servers?  Is this true? Thank you,-Firas

One powerfull functionnality of Adobe Audition 3.0 was to be able to zoom in anywhere into a temporal signal, we could even decenter the signal to zoom into the highest values of the signal. Today with Adobe Audtion 23.5.0.48 I am only able to zoom in around the zero axis, thus I can not have a closer look anymore on the peaks of my signal, and this is really annoying. Is there a trick somewhere to be able to zoom anywhere in the temporal signal? 

Video playback on multitrack is broken on the 23.3 version. The video preview is extremely laggy.Reverted back to version 23.2 and works as intended again. This is happening only on my Windows 11 machine 22H2 (22621.1555). On my Macbook there's no problem.

Hey guys, question about "detected dropped samples". I know why it happens and I know how to mitigate it. My question is this: do these dropped samples appear if I export the multi track? (Or are these samples only appearing because I'm playing the audio and therefore don't translate to an export?) thanks!

Hi all,  My copy of Audition has been acting strangely for the past month or so, and I was hoping the new update (23.5) would fix it, but unfortunately it hasn't.  I'm running Mac OS Ventura 13.2 on Apple M2 Pro, Audition vers. 23.5 I've attached a video that'll hopefully help explain the issue. It's not huge but it's inconvenient.  Basically, every time I open a file, no matter whether I've made any changes, Audition will always prompt me to 'save all changes'. This happens whether it's a multitrack session or an audio file. It seems to be caught in an endless loop where as long as a file has been opened, Audition thinks changes need to be saved.  Similarly when I have a large group of files open, hitting 'close all' or 'close session and its media' no longer has any effect. Audition will simply ask me whether I want to save changes, it'll go through the motions of saving, and then won't close anything.  Please let me know if this

I'm trying to save a file I recorded earlier, & I get this error message every time:  "An unknown exception was caught (Code E06D7363)."  Each time I try to save it, it goes along fine until 22%, then it freezes up & I get the error message.I don't want to have to rerecord it all again, but I don't know what is causing this error.  I recorded & saved something earlier today & everything was fine.Please help.Thanks,Alyx

Hello, someone knows if there is some driver to add the option within the surface control in the preferences, to be able to control correctly in audition the sound with ShuttlePro 2I see that there are several devices available, but not the one I need ShuttlePro2, I would like to be able to reproduce with the wheel of my device just as Ahce with video programs, some idea?

I recently upgraded to the Adobe CC full plan last month and was able to quickly open high-resolution WAV and FLAC files in the new version of Audition within seconds. As of yesterday however, opening a high-resolution file now takes minutes to open. Similarly, doing any simple processing like EQ on the same file takes more than five minutes. After saving the changes, it then takes a further five minutes or so for the program to close down. The rest of my computer is running fine, so it is not a system issue. I downgraded to an older version, reset my preferences folders (I do not remember which order I did that in) and have tried again but opening a file still takes much, much longer than it used it. Is anyone else suddenly having this problem or had any luck in fixing it? Thank you all.

Greetings community,   Something I'm struggling with using Adobe Audition is a very strong lag/chop with the message "Detected Dropped Samples" at the bottom-right of the software. This does not happen when I first start a session but more-so once I'm pretty stacked on tracks. It runs smooth and I have a great time mixing the tracks as I go (verse, verse addlivs, chorus, chorus addlivs, etc). BUT, once I get pretty stacked on all the different type of tracks and live effects, samples start to drop and the choppy lags happens! (I'm guessing my computer is weak??)    This is when I do the ol' go-to solution from all other posts and adjust the latency! I put it all the way to 500 just to see would there be a difference.. .. no!  Put it all the way at 30, computer pretty much crash!    My question is, what is a solution to "speed" up Adobe to get the song finished once a session gets pretty stacked on tracks? What are some tricks? I don't have a Mac Book Pro n

Which mics are best for recording podcasts in order to spend less time with editing? And, are headphones necessary? The mic I have now is decent, but there is a constant hum in the background that is difficult to get rid of. 

On Adobe Audition 3.0 we could choose an option to "synchronise the cursor on woindows". It had allowed to apply the same zoom in amplitude to all the opened signals. With new Audition, we can still keep the same zoom in time for all the signals but we have to zoom in amplitude for each of them, which could be really long!Is there an hidden option sowewhere to make this functionnality alive again?

Bonjour. Depuis 2021, dans le mode Forme d’onde d’Adobe Audition,la fonction d’enregistrement « Insérer » a été incorporée à la version Beta,puis dans les versions officielles suivantes. Cette fonction avait été demandée par la communauté œuvrant en voix off.Mais plusieurs se sont rapidement rendu compte qu’il manquait un élément essentiel à cette nouvelle fonction. Dès le départ, il a été mentionné à Adobe que cette fonction était totalement inutile si utilisée avec des marqueurs et que cela devait être corrigé. En effet, même si dans les préférences on choisit de ne PAS verrouiller les marqueurs, ceux-ci demeurent verrouillés quand on utilise la fonction « insérer » lors des enregistrements. Yesterday evening, after a long day of editing, all of a sudden, my secondary screen turned black.
