Bridge

ADobe, WHY do you insist on fixing things that are NOT broken!  Bridge 2023 is the biggest load of CRAP that I have ever seen.  You change everything (that worked fine and was NOT broken in the first place) and make our jobs wowrking with your product a nightmare!   IF IT ISN"T BROKEN LEAVE IT THE F ALONE!

 From the 2nd time I used Batch Rename in Bridge 13 (2023) the text box is blank but it seems the previous batch rename data is still there, just invisible. The result is Bridge concatonates the previous rename title with the current to the current photo name. I don't know if this is a bug, a one off with my installation, or that the way Batch Rename works had changed and I'm using it wrong. Regardless I can't find anyway to clear up the problem so that only the name I want is added to the file. Example of what happens:First set of pictures to be renamed -Text: EaglesDate: DDMMYYSequence: 1<Bridge renames and file looks like "Eagles DDMMYY 1"> Second set of pictures -Text: RobinsDate: DDMMYYSequence 1<Bridge renames and file looks like "Robins DDMMYY 1 Eagles DDMMYY"> Quitting Bridge does not flush/reset this either.  This is with a M1 Macbook Pro w/ MacOS 12.6 (Monterey). I never had this issue w/ the previous versions of Bridge.

Tabbed palettes are not added to Window menu, and the popup menu for opening/closing palettes has been removed. There is no onClose event for palettes either, apparently.   I use a flag for my tabbed palettes so there are not multiple instances opened but there is no way to clear the flag or simply reopen the palette like in previous versions.  

Hi there, since my yesterday's update to MAC Monterey 12.4 , i cannot open Bridge 2022 anymore. Despite an update of Bridge to the latest version, de-and reinstallation of Bridge 2022, i am still unable to open it. It crashes immediately. Bridge 2021 still works fine. Has anyone a clue how to fix the problem? Thks. Ralph

Hello,I recently downloaded Bridge 2023 and I don't seem to have any info or filename when I am in Filmstrip mode which is what I usually use. It appears in Essentials, Libraries etc.  Is there something I need to click to bring it back?  Thank you.

Metadata Bridge 2023 doesn't provide any info besode file size, color profile amd camera used info. Date created, modified are inexistant..

 I've tried so many times but I keep getting this error message. Any solutions please. 

When I create a TIFF with transparency and have saved selections, the thumbnail created by Windows is either blank or only shows one of the saved selections. We need to be able to see the Windows thumbnails when browsing through images in our archives. Is this something others have had issues with? Is this a bug that's being worked on?

Bridge just updated and I use my presets, and when they finish exporting they are only one pixel tall. and I've tried creating new presets, and all are saved at 1 pixel tall!! Frustrating, and suggestions? 

Bridge won't let me right click to see files in Finder (on server) - any idea why?

I am labeling photos I approve for editing in Bridge with the Number 8 Key (Green Label). I have "Sort" set to "Date Created." However, when I label a photo, it moves that photo in front of the very next photo causing me to miss previewing that next photo, because it's now behind the photo I just labeled. For example, Bridge literally moves photo 120 in front of 121 when labeled and so the next photo I view is 122, not 121; 120 jumped in front of it when it was labeled. I had a client missing photos and that's how I caught this Bridge error. I have updated and reinstalled Bridge, both to Windows 10 and a Windows 11 OS and the problem duplicates itself on both OS and 2 different computers. Anyone else having this problem; I have exhausted everything I know to fix this over that last few weeks? Thank you.

With the latest update (ACR version 14.0) .acr files has begun to pop up in Bridge - and as far as I can associate it's always when a mask has been created with the new masking system.Se attached screen copy. The arw file above the .acr file - showing the same name - is featuring a number of masks.

Depuis la version 13 de Bridge, le copier-coller de métadonnées (par exemple mots-clés) se répercute visuellement sur toutes les photos ! C'est la panique.Heureusement, si on quite le programme et qu'on y revient, les mots-clés initiaux n'ont pas changés. THE NEW VERSION OF BRIDGE processes RAW FILES to the color space SCREEN 3 for some reason.Having my color space in Photoshop set to NORTH AMERICAN PREPRESS RGB I am constantly told to set the Bridge files to PrePress RGB, which is a pain.Do I set the BRIDGE COLOR SPACE to ADOBE RGB or to COLORSYNC RGB so the move from Bridge to Photoshop is seamless.There is NO information on this within Bridge.

Bridge 13.0.0.562 and ScriptUI on WIndows 10 Before I call this a bug, can anyone confirm that when you specify MenuElement.create "at the end of Tools", the script is not placed at the end, but in the middle? Navigation on the latest Bridge 2023 is painfully slow when trying to move between subfolders on a drive. Is anyone else experiencing this? I've switched back to the previous version and it works as normal.

Hi,From the latest version of Bridge, the open in photoshop as layers has disappeared from the tools tab.

I'm running the current update of Bridge on an also currently updated (Monterrey 12.6) MB Pro with the M1 chip and 32gb of RAM It's now doing this weird thing when I move through my RAW files (from a Fuji XT-4 but I suspect that doesn't matter) and when I delete images it leaves multiple selected so I have to exit and re-enter full screen. It will also do it randomly it seems while moving through the files. I can tell when it's happening because it won't render the 100% view and will also "blip" the image repeatedly as I guess it's trying to process more than one and that's not really what bridge is for.Any ideas? The new Bridge up date was supposed to solve M1 issues I thought. I did a screen recording to show the issues. It's a few minutes long but you can scrub through or watch it sped up, as it's a hard to describe issue.

Sous MacOS. Il est impossible d'ouvrir une image dans CR depuis Bridge, il y a ce message qui s'ouvre :  

Ich habe auf die neueste Version von Camera Raw upgedatet (Version 15.0) und jetzt hängt sich CR komplett auf, sobald eine Person im Bild entdeckt wird.Kann man zur verherigen Version zurück und wenn ja, wie? Danke schon mal
