Bridge

Bridge Version 13.0.0.562.Windows 11.Workspaces can be edited, ordered and deleted but is there a way to rename them other than saving a new one and deleteing the old? That seems rather convoluted! There is no "Rename" option in any menu unless I am not looking in the correct places.

Is the latest version of Adobe Bridge 12.0.1.246?  I had to rollback to 12.0.0.234 due to bug in display of dropdowns in the Window 10 version.  I would like to know how to determine when the next version will be available.Thanks 

Ich habe heute das Update für ACR, die Bridge und PS auf meinem Mac Monterey 12.6 gemacht.In der Bridge befinden sich meine RAW Dateien, die ich dort mit dem Blendensymbol in CR öffne. Nach der Bearbeitung habe ich dann auf unten rechts "Öffnen" gedrückt, um sie an PS zu übergeben. Leider passiert seit dem Update heute dort nichts mehr.Hat jemand einen Rat?Gruß Frank

When previewing portrait format photos, it does not fit into lighter gray frame border but fills whole frame of item. I suppose it is not the way it use to be.

  

I updated my operating system to MAC OSMonterrey a couple of days ago and then updated to new version of Bridge and now the application keeps crashing. This is completely unaceptable, is anybody working on this issue?

 In the process of rating a group of photos, sometimes when assigning a star rating to a photo, the sort order changes, which makes editing slower. The group is sorted by Ascending Creation Date. For instance, consider three photos, numbered 1, 2, 3, and in the desired sort order. If I assign a 5-star rating to no. 2, the order changes to 2, 1, 3. The issue is inconsistent, both within a group, and from group to group.  

Hi, since the latest October 2022 Bridge update, the "Browse in Bridge 2003" no longer works as it used to, when I right click on a Windows 10 folder. It will only return to my previously opened Bridge without opening the new folder. It only works if I shut down Bridge and then right click, but that defeats its purpose. Windows obviously recognises the update, hence the "Bridge 2023". I have no previous versions on my system.

I installed the new Bridge yesterday. I haven't seen news features yet but the Windows shortcuts don't work in the browser

After recent updates Tools / Photoshop is missing in BridgePhotoshop version is 23.5.1I've checked the start up scripts in Preferences and they are set.Is this a bug, or how can I get it back - I really don't want to start reinstalling - that would be ridiculous.Thanks

When you delete a folder in a Content block with DEL and later you navigate back into the parent folder where you deleted it from, in the same Content block, with Ctrl + back arrow or top arrow, the folder is still shown there.This looks like a caching issue in the Bridge Beta.Can others confirm this? 

I am unable to ascribe file type associations in the new Bridge. At the moment trying to do this simply opens the program but does not leave a command in place for future reference. For instance Canon Raw files - trying to ascribe them to Bridge is totally unsuccessful - the 'ascription' space remains blank. Tianshi_angie

I have a series of files that are named like: 0001 IMG_5564I would like to remove the first 5 digits of the file name (0001 /4 numers and a space), so I am left with IMG_5564.jpgTried a bunch of combinations, but can't seem to make it work. Suggestions? Thank you!~ Kathleen

In the new version, I see no "Photoshop" submenu in Bridge (only Premiere and Media Encoder), while Photoshop 23 is active /loaded as startup script. How can one now access Batch from Bridge (Windows), Can you guys see the submenu?

While deleting some duplicate images from a folder in Bridge 13.0 all of the image names just appeared.  For example, an image named dsc2989.nef ceased to have the name (dsc2989.nef) associated with it.  Perhaps I did something wrong but I don't think so.  This is a bug and needs to be fixed.

Previous versions, as Windows Explorer had Backspace mapped to up one level. That shortcut is gone.

Hello Bridge Forum! I've Got a new iMac Pro and latest version of Bridge (9.0.2.2019) - we tag a lot of photoshoot images and I have lost the whole ability to Label (colour label the file with red: cmd-6 for example) or add a rating (Add a number of stars to a file eg with the number cmd-5 for a '5-star' image). When I press these keys it doesn't change in my thumbnail (content frame) or change in my filter frame. I am using (and have always used) 'Essentials' workspace. I've never had this problem before. And it's quite urgent the whole reason we use Bridge is for tagging and editing down our choice form big photoshoot reels - any help seriously appreciated. CP

Replace Metadata deletes Date Created. New, and unwelcome.Append Metadata adds some, changes some, deletes some values. Again, not welcome.Ideas? Other than reverting to previous version.

 Bridge 2023, even in the Mac version, has a specification that closing a window terminates the application, why did you change the specification this way?Also, Bridge adds a number to the Bundle ID every time there is a major version update, this really needs to stop. No other application does this. Please stop it.I use the Keyboard Maestro utility and Apple Script to automate Bridge operations, and it is very annoying when the Bundle ID is changed.I also don't want the configuration file to be renamed appropriately. Such as.Adobe Bridge Opener Preferences.xml -> AdobeBridgeOpenerPreferences.xmlWhat criteria does this follow?

I have a late 2021 Macbook Pro M1 Max with 64GB of ram and much like the Beta version, I am continually getting the pinwheel of death in Bridge.  When it works, its a lot faster than what I am used to but I am continually finding myself force quitting / waiting for it to load.   

In Bridge 13.0, when one file is selected in the Content Window and I Shift-Click on a different file, the contiguous list of files is not selected, rather at least one file where I Shift-Clicked. See photo. This happens after I delete files and want to select more contiguous files to delete. 

Neither previous versions nor 13.0.0.562 display camera exposure times correctly in the "Filter"panel. Metadata that includes a mix of fractional and decimal times (norm with Canon) is disordered in three ways.1. It is not ordered properly overall by increasing/decreasing exposure, 2.0 seconds comes after 1/640th, but 1.6 sec comes after 1/4th2. Decimal value exposures increase downward, fractional increase upward.3. Decimal values are broken into two groups, bookending the fractional values. When you have a lot of files with a wide variety of exposures, this is a major problem. Pardon the dodgy graphics, it's not my forte:  

Since Friday 30th of September 2022 I cannot open an image in Camera Raw. I get the message "Camera Raw editing is not enabled. Camera Raw editing requires the purchase of a license for a suitable product". Does anyone have the same problem? I don't have an issue with any other of my Adobe products. I have tried to uninstall Brige and then install it again, but I have the same issue.
