Found a bug. When launching a "batch edit" from BRIDGE (Tools - Photoshop - Batch...) on a number of selected raw files photoshop "may or may not" choose to IGNORE THE APPLIED CAMERA RAW SETTINGS.On the other had when opening the RAW file directly in photoshop the files are always rendered correctly. Note I don't have time to manually run the actions each file.This is very frustrating when appling photoshop actions to 50 files at the time and then realize there is no color correction or crop or the proper contrast I just spent half an hour in camera raw setting it right.

Hallo, ich musste meinen Rechner neu aufsetzen. Adobe Programme also neu runtegeladen. Nun tritt folgendes Problem auf (vermutlich stimmt etwas an den Einstellungen nicht, ich weiß aber leider nicht was...):wenn ich die Bilder in Bridge oder Lightroom bearbeitete, sehen sie normal aus. Drücke ich "fertig", springt man zurück in die Übersicht und alle Bilder, auch sw-Bilder haben plötzlich einen starken Gelbstich. (s. Bild. Rechte Seite während Bearbeitung, linke Seite nach "fertig"). Wenn ich die Bilder exportiere, bleibt der "Farbstich".Ich weiß, dass ich das bereits früher mal hatte, aber ich weiß nicht mehr, wie ich es beheben konnte.Vielleicht kann mir jemand helfen?! LG Doro

Hi,I'm looking for a best practice for a non professional to manage metadata with Bridge (CC version). Here are my experiences with some questions for more advanced "metadater's" and possibly Adobe support experts (note: translated from German via Google, so some technical terms might be misleading vs. the actual Bridge user interface terms):o In Bridge, practically only the keyword collection is available for filtering keywords (I'm not talking about created collections now). That's pretty meager when you consider that there is some other central metadata, e.g. with geographical data, people in the picture, etc. Am I getting it wrong or is that really a shortcoming in Bridge?o You can then only select the other metadata via the "Advanced search". Whereby either only "All metadata" or only a limited selection is offered. Apart from the fact that it is relatively awkward to click.o This would mean that you should actually include all keywords (aka descriptive metadata) in the keywords.

Hi,I'm looking for a best practice to maintain keywords.So far I have proceeded to "edit" the keywords directly into the metadata fields. They are all searchable; but are not available bridge-wide as a click selection in the keyword list (only as "Other keywords"). How do you go about it: write in directly or click on the selection? The latter requires an existing list that you have to create first. The definition of keywords is practically only possible after viewing photos and then defining suitable keywords. So how do you go about it practically?o In this context: How do I get the already existing “other keywords” (there are hundreds) into the keyword hierarchy so that I can use them to click? Hi folks,   it's been a while, I think with the two last updates, that Bridge has become a little bit of a vampire on memory usage. It literally consume all 16Gb RAM in a matter of few minutes.   I suppose there must be a way to intervene on this, but I am really not sure what I can do except limiting the apps working on the background.   More often than not, though, I need PS open at the same time, but while PS does not attempt to the RAM (if I have it open and let's say I have Acrobat, Safari, Amazon Music and Pages running, no major issues happen to the memory usage), the combination Bridge and whatever else becomes unbearable for my Mac   Processor: 2.7 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 Memory:16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Graphic: Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB MacOs Catalina 10.15.7 aer the specifics   Any advices on this? Are there things in the preferences that I can touch to make Bridge smoother and less Memory needy?   Thanks in advance!

For the last month with a lot of Photoshop and Camera Raw updates coming out everytime a new one comes out it causes issues in my Bridge workflow.It has happened 5 times in the last 2 months where I open Bridge to find I cannot now close the program without it crashing and needing a force quit.I also can't access Camera Raw setting within Bridge without another freeze and crash.Also same issue if wanting to opening a raw file with Camera Raw within bridge, it freezes then crashes.This has been happening on and off for the last 2 months with all the new updates. Ok I'm getting pretty desperate for a fix so I thought I'd try a forum.I started photo 2 years ago and my workflow was a mess. My form of ingesting changed over and over and I really didn't have a system. At some point (for like 20 assignments/shoots) I used Bridge for ingesting and applying metadata (Copyright, etc). The problem is that I did this at a time where I thought I would operate under a pseudonym. Recently, I spent an entire week updating metadata using PhotoMechanic. I made sure every single file name had the same format, every pic had an ingest level caption and copyright under my legal name, and set 5 star ratings on all my portfolio pics. It was really satisfying. However, when I sync the folders over to Lightroom (which I use to edit), Lightroom reads the old metadata on those 20ish folders I ingested through Bridge, which includes my old pseydonym under copyright. Is there a way to fix this? To strip the Bridge metadata or tell Lightroom to read the PM metada

Hello, I would like to be able to learn how to write a rename script on Bridge to do the following; first I want to know if this is something that's possible to do with bridge capabilities or what I could use to learn coding wise to write a script for it. Any info appreciated!  Currently I have been doing it manually by duplicating the first image twice, running a batch rename with lower case and that gives me a b c d e - then use a automator function to delete the a + c but I am trying to simplify this process.  Filename examples; files always follow this format but the digital counter is always random1234567890123_000 ExampleNameRandom1.jpg1234567890123_000 ExampleNameRandom2.jpg1234567890123_000 ExampleNameRandom3.jpg Output; desired out put to be in this sequence - not a + b + c + d + e instead b + d + e...etc1234567890123_000_b1234567890123_000_d1234567890123_000_e1234567890123_000_f Regards, 

Hi,A hacker has tried to access my downloads folder to steal my Covid-Pass through Adobe Bridge. Fortunately, my Avast antivirus blocked the access.Now, I want to uninstall Adobe Bridge, but it does not appear in the programs folder. How can I do ?Philippe

Does anyone know a way to share cloud files directly in Bridge - just like in Windows Explorer by right-clicking via the context menu?At the moment I always have to go the roundabout way: Right click - show in explorer > right click - share link > copy link. Since the context menu in Windows 11 is even more nested, sharing has become really cumbersome. Especially if you want to share a lot of singlefiles. Why not just add this function to Bridge?

Bridge is dead!! For the first time!! Bridge doesn't start anymore on my Mac Book Air 2020/M1 with Monterey.  Bridge find an error also when I try to lanch it from Photoshop V. 23.0.2. Thank you for your help.     {Thread title edited by moderator}

Hello, I made a post before - but I realized that I did not offer enough information and I finally figured out a bit more how to do what I am trying to do. Here is my work-flow with Bridge for running my batch rename / ideal script. Step 1 - Select All Images (Control+A or Command+A)Step 2 - Sort by Rating - Ascending Order (all of my images are ranked by either 1 star, 2 star or 3 star, I use this as a way to pick which image is the b image)Step 3 - Run AUTO_RENAME_01 (this is just what I call my saved batch rename setting) using the attached screenshot settings. FIND: - ^(.{17})(.*) REPLACE: $1_bWhat this is doing is basically renaming all of my images. From the following;111647050986_001 BLOUSE_0490.jpg0111647050986_001 BLOUSE_0491.jpg0111647050986_001 BLOUSE_0492.jpg0112439780127_080 SHRUG_0869.jpg0112439780127_080 SHRUG_0870.jpg0112439780127_080 SHRUG_0871.jpgTo the following;0111647050986_001_b.jpg0111647050986_001_b (1).jpg0111647050986_001_b (2).jp

I am experiencing a problem with the images from my network storage (home device).On occasions, the display shows duplicates, other times only shows a lower number of images than actually exist.I have also experienced situations when a screen refresh gives random numbers from too few to too many images.It happens on my iMac downstairs running OS Monterey and also on my Macbook Pro running OS Big Sur upstairs.I also notice that if I copy the folder to either desktop, Bridge works without fault.I attach some screenshots to illustrate it, hope that helps.

Bridge 12.0 does not open. How can I reinstall it?

When I import a burst shot with Bridge Photodownloader the the sequence is lost when I also change the name at import. Without a name change the sequence is kept. Is this a known issue and error or do I make a mistake here? I insert two series of the same burst to demonstrate the issue: First without a name change, so as they come from the camera name starts with DSC_7273.jpg and ends at DSC_7287.jpg.; the second with a name change during import starts at 202102dec_1403.jpg and ends at 202102dec_1417.jpg. Strange enough the second serie with the name change is also more or less reversed and the entire sequence is disrupted. My Nikon D850 has the same problem and also with the photos taken with focus-stacking. Especially with focusstacking this is not very nice, need to restore the sequence manually. Is this a Bug and can it be resolved? Any Clue? (Brigde version 12.0.0.234). Ben

Bridge 2022 is very slow.  I edit a lot of photograph and have to roate the images. Using the mac command and ] to rotate images is either not working or very very slow. Is there something with the latest software that is not working correctly. 

As of the last update I am having a lot of problems with Bridge. It hangs constantly if you open the CAMERA RAW with multiple photos. It had never happened to me. It could become slow, but suddenly turn off the program, it had never happened to me ... (now many times) Another problem, if I open a photo from bridge, sometimes it opens it with PS22, and others with PS23 ... Any solution?

My Color settings in Bridge 2021 latest version, keeps dropping out. When exporting files for print from Inddesign (latest 2021), I can see that the profile drops out while I'm exporting the PDF file.The CMYK pictures in the document are converted to RGB when the PDF is processed.Not all of the CMYK-files is converted to RGB, but only some. We had a catalogue on 252 pages produced recently, and 2 cmyk pictures placed on the same page wasconverted differently.I have never in former versions experienced something like that. Whats happening?!!Its a little bit scary:(!! 

I have used Bridge for quite some while however, since the recent update, they are now downloaded in descending order, which seems illogical.I can sort and rename within Bridge but never had to do this previously.Has anyone else had this issue?  

In Brdge 2022, 10 jpegs selected, right click, dont' see open with... Adobe Camera Raw. thanks.  Used to see this option.  Mac
