Bridge

In Bridge > Crop > Grid, I want to see the grid lines but not so small as in the attached. Is there a way to increase the size of the grid squares? Thx.

I store all of my creative assets on Dropbox. And I mean everything. 115 GB worth to be exact. I keep opting for Dropbox because of the "Selective Sync". I love that I can sync only what I need for specific projects without jeopardizing precious hard drive space.   With the recent Adobe updates, I've also started building CC Libraries for more specific projects. I love how easy it is to access everything across Adobe platforms. Now I'm at a crossroads where I have assets everywhere (Dropbox, CC Libraries, my "Downloads" folder when I'm feeling particularly lazy, etc.). They need to be sorted, tagged, renamed, and organized. And I need to be able to access them anywhere. I want to do that in ONE platform (enter Bridge) but I don't want to have to use Selective Sync in Finder first. I also don't want to overlap CC Libraries/Dropbox or CC Libraries/Bridge.  What workflows or org management systems have worked for you? Specifically with an asset library that just c

Request to have Photo Downloader (PD) to be added to workflow as one of the steps. This (to me that is) one of my first and daily steps to save, backup en edit photo's and movies to computer. I am using photo PD for downloading from different devices using different Prograde memory card readers (e.g. CFExpress, XQD and microSD, direct USB connection), so ideally I would to be able to set up multiple (almost similar) workflows, each with their own set of PD settings, such as different advanced renaming settings * and from where the media is downloaded from (e.g. CFExpress is from T:\..., XQD is from U:\ and so on).    As and example, I am using two Theta Z1 360 cameras. One I want the files to be renamed to YYDD_"Z1A"_orgfilename, the other with the "Z1B" text in order to avoid rare duplicate filenames, (as you cannot set a specific filename within those devices). Feature request to have Photo Downloader's (PD) started and it's location folder automatically filled out when you right-click in Bridges content windows on a specific folder with an option "Download photo's or media here". Using DP on a daily basis to quickly organize and download photos and videos to computer in order to have those edited and send off to customers same day. Using different devices daily (2x Nikon camera's , 2x Theta 360-camera, DJI Pocket video cam, 2x DJI drones) which require a lot of content to be downloaded, separated (from each other) and renamed into logical names for save keeping and backups. Happy to elaborate more on this if needed. Thanks in advance,Roel Ovinge (a happy Bridge customer)

After updating the latest Bridge software, suddenly the names and file descriptions on Bridge overview is missing, they appear on the desktop, but not in Bridge...I did the same upgrade on the iMac without problem, but for some reason it won't show on my Macbok Pro...what can I do? Thanks!

I'm finding that Bridge keeps mysteriously resetting my thumbnail cache and requiring new thumbnail generation evey few days.  The settings don't automatically reset, just the thumbnails. I've tried doing a complete settings reset when launching Bridge as well as a full re-installing without keeping previous settings. I'm navigating and doing thumbnail generation across multiple drives, most commonly a NAS, and have a local 1Tb SSD acting as a cache. There doesn't seem to be any other issues, just that the thumbnails vanish. Is this a known problem or happening to anyone else? 

Why does it do that? I want to continue working on the rest of my images in that folder. It does this each time. This is new behavior. Didn't happen in earlier versions. It's annoying and counter-productive. Is there a a setting somewhere to stop this behavior? Thanks in advance.

I updated my OS earlier this week to “Monterey” from “Big Sur” and now when I use Adobe Bridge to view files from Box, it is incredibly slow; basically crashes Bridge instantly. Whereas before it was seamless.   Any advice?? Now I have to view files in Finder or work within Box, which is not efficient when you're working with thousands of files.

Hi, i tipical photograph Raw and Jpgs and i rename in pairs both jpgs and raws, before bridge renames in pairs with the same number ex 001.RAW and 001.jpg but now it renames 001.RAW and 002.jpg it does not rename in pairs .  Thanks

My download workflow includes a personal naming scheme  similar to "myID-YYYYMMDD-myBody_originalName".  This scheme is defined in de advanced pane and worked fine in previous versions of Bridge but is not possible anymore with version 12 . How to get this back? I have not seen this limitation documented with the new release. PS. as temporary workaround I run both version 11 and 12 side by side

I used to be able to have a color label, such as green by pressing 'control 8' but now I have to use the menu.Used to have edit history, when checked in preferences, but now it is on the metadata menu, but empty, nothing there. Windows 10.

Hi there ..My bridge keeps oncrashing when opening ACR. Ive tried all the work arounds including disabled GPU...Install older versions...run without plug ins.... update PC..the wholelist..... Can anyone help?

I use bridge for selecting my photos, usually with labels, by presing "6", "7" while showing them in full screen.  Since bridge 2021 update, and also with 2022 update, if I work this way, some of the labelling is missed. I mean sometimes I press "6" and the photo gets labelled, but other times no. So I get only part of the photos I need selected.  I thing it has to do with these version of bridge showing the photos a bit slowet, and recharging them once in screen. You can see for a brief moment the message "loading high quality preview" (Or something like that, I have the spanish version)I have tried several changes in the cache options but nothing worked, and I am back working with Bridge 2020, as it has no problems.  Thank you!

Hello , this issue was never  solved, i tried every triks here, my CPu can charge over 1000% with my mac pro. unbeleivable 

Adobe's customer support fails again. I was experiencing issues with Adobe Suite yesterday; specifically Bridge and Adobe Stock. I initially tried the chat feature. The AI bot began the conversation, directed me to what it deemed was my best option and then...nothing. No conversation ensueed. I then tried to call. Again, AI answered and told me that there was a 45 minute wait. I was presented with the option of waiting or scheduling a call back. I chose to have a call back. When I did receive the call back, I was immediately placed on hold. After two minutes, I hung up. I tried Adobe Community. No response there either, or, if there was, I never received an email alerting me to the response. Thankfully, the issue resolved on its own. Adobe was of no help. I love my Adobe products when they work. Unfortunately, when you have a deadline, failing apps and no help, the love seems unrequited. Hello everyone, I'm using Camera Raw 13.0 in Photoshop Elements 2021 to apply camera profiles (created with ColorChecker) to a bunch of RAF images (and also crop/rotate them, if necessary), then save the changes in the xmp files and export them as TIFF in Bridge 2022. This has been working great the last couple of days but now I've got another batch of images that were taken with a different camera model and there's a weird problem: The images look fine in ACR but in Bridge a fisheye effect is applied to all of them automatically, to both the preview image and the exported one! If I double-click an image, it opens in ACR and there it's looking fine again. I found a suggestion in another thread:In Camera Raw, under "Optics", uncheck "Use profile corrections"."Optics" doesn't exist in my ACR, I've only got "Basic", "Detail" and "Calibration". How do I disable this (and whatever other "corrections" Bridge applies automatically)?

Hello, I just installed the new Bridge 2022 on my new iMac computer.  For some reason, I am now not able to rename any of my folders or files.  I used to be able to just click once on the text and it would highlight, and then I could erase and rename.  I've gone through the privacy settings in System Preferences and allowed Bridge to be accessed in "Accessibility".  But that didn't do anything.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Lisa 

I cannot open Camera Raw from Bridge. If I select a batch of photos and hit CTRL +R (as I have done for years) Bridge crashes. I can go direct to Photoshop (via FILE>OPEN WITH) but this messes up my workflow. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Another new problem: when I use profiles, the default start of the Profiles is in the middle of the bunch, not o top. I like going down from top to bottom, but the minute I test a Profile, it jumps back to the middle instead of staying put. Again, this adds additional unnecessary steps and frustration to one's workflow.Any way of fixing this? Version: 11.1.1.185 Thanks in advance!

Since last update of Bridge CC I have a problem with the Batch rename command - I shoot photos in RAW and JPG at the same time and till recently when I used Batch rename to rename the pairs RAW+JPG, they got the same number, just different extension. Since the last update all files get consecutive number; f.e. Autumn001.RAW and corresponding JPG is Autumn002.JPG (instead of Autumn001.JPG); any idea how to solve this? Thanks for help

Is it just me or is v12 now back to having to use ctrl with number? I was so happy with the last version now I can't find the setting to able to just use a number. Please tell me it is still an option.

I have been running Creative Suite 6 on my two iMacs at home: Yosemite on a 2011 and Mojave on a 2013 (yes, I am a senior). I have to use the Yosemite to run DreamWeaver, but InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop and Bridge work on both. Recently the Export function in Bridge suddenly stopped working — on both computers. Attempting to repair, when I tried to re-install CS6 on the Yosemite, partway through the disk was ejected and a pop-up message said it was a pirated copy. Not true. It looks like I will be forced to switch to Creative Cloud, unless someone can suggest at fix.... Looking ahead, I am concerned about the whopping cost of the upgrade of course, but also that the interface and features of the CC version of my favourite apps will be so different that I will be thrown for a loop. Is there much of a difference, or will the CC versions look and function much the same? Thanks.
