On the Mac it's been called the "Trash" since 1984. "Move to Bin" is incorrect and should be renamed "Move to Trash".
When opening bridge, it remembers the content previous to last. For example if your last viewed content is \pictures in your last session, and in the session before was \movies. If you open and close Bridge, it toggles between both contents. It seems to be opening the iteration [1] from an array, instead of [0]
Bridge 2023 has had a bug with its save window. When any of the arrow bottoms are used, it closes the window. Makes it difficult when changing or editing the SAVE AS: files name. this issue is only happing to the 23 and not of the older versions.
Bridge 2023 - V13.0.1.583Window 10On the KeyWord Pannel, the Horizontal Slider on the bottom is missing when the lenght of KeyWords are bigger than the pannel's width
Bridge 13.0.1.583Windows 10 and 11Step to reproduce : NA (Random)When working with bridge, selecting files, opening in ACR and/or PS , back to Bridge . . . the Keyword pannel sometimes changes with the pointers to the hierarchical structure of keywords are no longer in the right place. The attached file will better show the problem
When managing stacks eg. promoting one particular file in a stack to be the top file or even just creating a stack, Bridge 2023 crashes
Windows 10 and 11.Bridge 13.0.1.583 and previous ...After postprod, when moving a RAW 'NEF' file from working directory to 'DONE' directory, the result file 'Jpg, Psd, Tif . . . ' is moved too ! ! ! Even if it in not selected ! Step to reproduce :1) From Brdige, double click on a RAW file in the Working Directory.2) In Camera RAW do the adjustements and open it in PhotoShop.3) In PS, finish the postprod . . . and save the file on same directory.4) From Bridge move the RAW file to the 'Done' Directory. ===> The result file (jpg, tif, psd . . . ) is moved too, even if it is not selected..) If you start to move the result file (jpg, psd, tif . . .) from working directory to the 'Finished' directory it works ! ! ! Only this file is moved ! ! !Strange it isn't it ?. ) Sometimes also, after saving the file from PS, and returning to Bridge, we see that 2 files are selected (blue outline) : The 'NEF' file that we double-clicked to open, and his neighbour . . .
No matter what I do, ACR cache ALWAYS rests to 5.0 Gig. I've tried a dozen different ways to reduce the size. NEVER happens. Always running cache in the background. Hating it more every day.
When selecting a folder in my favorites, then typing part of a file/folder name to go to an item in the content pane, the item will be selected, but the blue border to indicate focus is still around the favorites pane. So, if I use the arrow keys to go to the next item in the content pane, it goes to the next item in the favorites pane. The folder pane has different functionality. Selecting a folder in the folders pane and then typing or using the arrow selects a new item in the folder pane and doesn't affect the content pane. There is also no way to navigate to or change focus to the content pane using the keyboard. The mouse must be used to change the focus to the content pane.
Adobe Bridge 2023 (macOS) has GPU rending issues. The preference checkbox for software rendering is greyed out and I can't deselect it. Bridge thinks my driver is out of date. However, both photoshop and Lightroom classic use my gpu just fine. I have a screenshot showing both. I'm running the most up to date version of macOS....ventura 13.0. I have uninstalled and reinstalled bridge. I contacted adobe support and they kept suggesting I update the driver. macOS drivers are built into the OS and cannot be updated separately. As I'm running the latest version, this is clearly not a driver issue but an issue with bridge since two other adobe programs are using this same gpu.
La visión bloqueo de cuadricula no funciona bien. Las fotos verticales se montan una encima de otra.
When importing KeyWord File OR when Clear and Import KeyWod File, Bridge go to th Root, not to the last Directory where the file is saved (as previous versions).
Tired of the constant Bridge/Photoshop issues. Impossible to even import images from camera or CFast cards using your software. And to think I pay for this nightmare each month!
Several buttons which are displayed in the Content Panel, depending upon circumstance, do not function.Version of Adobe Bridge: 13.0.1.583Steps to reproduce the issues: Choose a Collection or Smart CollectionOperating System: Windows 11 22H2Expected result: Expect what is displayed on the button to occurActual result: Nothing happensThe buttons referred to are Edit Smart Collection, Stop Search and Remove from Collection.None of these buttons perform their function on my system.
I can't access Google Drive in the Folders Panel. All the other panels work fine with Google Drive. I can access Google Drive locations via the Favorites Panel or by dragging folders into the PathBar, however, the Folder panel is not responsive when I do this. I also cannot find Google Drive in the Folders Panel manually. This makes it impossible to move files around within different folders in Bridge. My current workaround is to Reveal in Finder for any folder navigation and then drag the folder I want to look at from Finder back into the Bridge PathBar, but obviously this is extremely inefficient. I have to constantly switch back and forth from Bridge to Finder just to copy a file from one folder to another.
When all my 156 elements are with yellow color, the filter panel doesn't show the count of them anymore. When I change the color of a picture from yellow to green label, the count of filtered pictures reappears : "yellow (155), green (1)"
Defaults to template folder. Will not keep my custom metadata panel. I have to click on the drop down, select my metadata, then select 'keep original metadata but append...' then select OK - for EVERY image. If I go back to this later, it has defaulted to the template folder again. How can I make it default to my metadata?
When exporting images from Adobe Camera RAW process uses the GPU (not to its full potential, but et least somewhat) however when the same is done from the main window of Bridge GPU utilisation is 0%.Please implement GPU Utilisation in all export processes.Bridge version: 13.0.1.583OS: WIN 11 PROCPU: Ryzen 5 3600GPU: RTX3060Ti 8GBRAM: 64GB DDR
when right-clicking on a keyword to bring up the Find pop-up box and clicking "Find" in the pop-up - nothing happens. It won't search for the keyword. it only works if I close out Bridge completely and then open it back up and search for a keyword.
I add metadata via Bridge (e.g. description/keywords) to a CR2 file, resync the folder into Lightroom, so that metadata should also be inserted into Lightroom. Now when I write new files from Lightroom, the metadata is not sent along. I would also use the Bridge Photoshop image processor, but it doesn't offer the option to resize the image by specifying, for example, only the long side.
Will not recognize Sony a7R mark V camera compressed RAW images. (Neither will Ps or LrC). Have v13.01.583.
I have a Macbook Air M1 2020, with OS Ventura 13.0.1 (but previous system did the same)Adobe Bridge 13.0.1 (also latest Beta 2023)If I copy files from my Canon R5 (be it CFexpress or SD) using any option (mucommander, finder, etc) card works just fine. If I copy or move starred pictures via Bridge (or any other pictures) the operation becomes very slow soon and the card becomes sluggish, more or less blocking the camera. If I format the card, it becomes OK again (but obviously I loose everything on the card). What I tried so far - resetting computer, reinstalling Bridge, Photoshop, Lightroom and CC package, resetting camera, tried different cards, different card readers, but the issue is the same. Friend of mine uses the same setup and his Bridge works as it should.
Bridge doesn't read PERCEPTUAL GRADIENT MAP level in TIFF (with levels) designed and saved in photoshop. If you also try to export those files (for examples in jpg), it export them without the gradient with a completly different result than the original design.
Bridge version 13.0.1.583. Mac OS 12.6.1 When searching using a keyword in Bridge, not all photo files are found. Under advanced search, I have everything ticked including searching in sub-folders.
Latest Bridge (2023) and I am still experiencing freeze on launch. Windows 11, up to date on all updates, launch Bridge, all panels appear blank and stay that way. If I try and click anywhere I get the spinning wheel and Bridge is shown as (Not Responding). The only way out is to use Task Manager, then relaunch Bridge and reset Prefs.
