Bridge

Photoshop Bridge v15.11. When launched, shows an error message with the Bridge's logo in it and nothing else (see pic). When click OK to the message, Bridge quits. I restarted the computer (Mac OS 15.6) and the error continued there. I uninstalled and reinstalled Bridge and the error message is still there. Got fixed temporarelly with a "Hard Reset" method but when launched again the error message shows again. Any ideas? Thanks.

Bridge opens .psds in Illustratror even though the file type association is photoshop 2025. psd did open in the photoshp beta version until we deleted the beta. Cheers Steve

Dear Community,  after manually setting InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Bridge (all up to date as of 10/9/25) to Europe Prepress 3, Adobe RGB (1998) and Coated Fogra39 (ISO 12647-2:2004) and clicking Apply in Bridge (having selected Europe Prepress 3), no synchronziation happens. After restarting all said applications, InDesign and Bridge say they are synchronized, Illustrator says they aren't, and Photoshop and Acrobat don't say anything. What am I missing here? Thanks!

Hi all, I use Bridge for the first view of my raw files. I rate my files to continue in lightroom later.Normally I love to work with the full screen, but I need the meta data like aperture, shutter speed and the ISO setting. Is it possible to show these datas in the full screen mode? Thx and regards, Moritz

Bridge v15 hangs for approx. 30 seconds each time it starts, whether or not the current folder contains any files or is empty. If I click on Bridge during this time, the display turns grey and I the title bar displays a "not responding" caption - further clicks cause a Windows dialog to open with options to wait for the program to respond or terminate the program.This used to be a problem early this year but one of the spring 2025 updates cured this, until it restarted after an August 2025 update, but now it occurs every time the program starts. I have purged all 100% previews in cache and also purged all local cache files, but this makes no difference to the delay when Bridge starts. It doesn't make any difference whether the current folder is on an internal SSD or not - I don't use Bridge with any external drives. My PC is running the current version of Windows 11 with the latest updates and a Ryzen 7 cpu, 32Gb RAM and plenty of free disk space. Hallo. Warum kann ich in Bridge nur mit Strg+ Ziffer Bewerten udnd Beschriften? Kann ich das irgendwo ändern, dass ich nur die Ziffer eingebn brauche, so wie in LRc? Früher gab es ein Häkchen in den Voreinstellungen; das fehlt jetzt bei mir!

OSX 13.7.1. I don't use Bridge much, but wanted to check a few things out this morning & found that both 2024 and 2025 are crashing when starting up. It looks like it's doing so just before loading images or the rest of the interface or something. 2024 asked me if I wanted to add two scripts this morning, which I did; when that wouldn't start up, I installed 2025, which has the same problem, so wondering if something in those two scripts did it. That said, I can't find the startup scripts. Unfortunately the Adobe article I saw only showed how to activate/deactivate them from within Bridge. Any help appreciated!  

Why is Bridge 15.1.1.729 starting to make thumbnails over and over again? I work in the same directory for weeks by now (6400 items), but every morning when I start Bridge, it starts making thumbs as if it has no thumbs in cache. All thumbs are gone!And when it starts making thumbs, it never finishes the job, but it quits making thumbs, whilst the thumbs are not competed until the whole directory is finished.This behaviour is very annoying, as it is very time-consuming and taking resources. Hope Adobe will fix this asap.......

I have Adobe Bridge 15.1.1.729 and im trying to use the find option to look for all my .mov files in my external drive, i use filename criteria ends with .mov, and the thing just finds 300 elements i know i have more than 11,000 .mov files, what is happening? im 35 years old and since i have 14 i can't remember just one version of any adobe software working flawless 

Issue: In Camera raw, if I save CR3 image to JPG, the JPG image is noticeably brighter in the Bridge display. Bridge version: 15.1.1.729Operating system: Windows 11 Steps to reproduce (Very important): In a numbered list, the exact steps are needed to reproduce the problem. Open raw (CR3) image in Camera RAW Adjust imageSave image as JPG with maximum file size 3000 KBClick "Done"  to save the modifications to the raw file in an XMP sidecarActual result: JPG image appears somehat brighter than raw fileExpected result:JPG and raw should look identical.  It has worked this way in Bridge since I strted using Camera Raw in 2018.  

After opening a photo in Photoshop from Bridge, the edits that are made that affect metadata info, such as size and  ppi, are not automatically reflected, even though the image is refreshed. Only after selecting another photo and reselecting the edited one again, the changes are shown.

As I'm culling in Bridge, it keeps refreshing and going back to the top of the folder. I then have to scroll down to where I was to continue rating photos. After another minute or two, it will do it again. Does anyone have  a solution for this? It has been doing it that past 2 days. I have updated the program, updated my computer, shut everything down, etc and nothing has worked so far. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi, If this is a config prob, I'd love to know how to fix, but if this is by design, please change the design...I am using the latest version of bridge -It seems that adobe has removed the arrows on the edges of the scroll bars and I am unable to make accurte small scolls using those arrows... I marked the corners of the scrollbar where it's clear there are no arrows... This is annoying and not user-friendly to say the least.Please enlighten me... how do I get those arrows back? Just to show what's missing - here's a different, non adobe app, with normal scrollbar arrows:Thanks,Vered

In the Camera Raw program, in the Crop function, after selecting the grid view, you cannot disable it to return to the grid of thirds view. The Show/Hide Grid Overlay button (CTRL-SHIFT-G) does not work. 

Good evening,Adobe bridge freezes with rather large amount of images in the same folder (about 200 files), but it crashes even with a few.it also freezes on opening.i've tried all i can find in "Troubleshoot Bridge for freezes and performance issues" on Adobe website with multiple combinations and looked for solutions on the Adobe community.i've unistalled Norton AV, one drive, Dropbox. i dont work on lan/usb disks or NAS.I've also tried "use software rendering".After i clear cache/preferences (ctrl+alt+shift on startup) it seems to work for a few, then it begin to hang or work terrible slowly.Nothing. Always the same problem. It seems that is slow/hangs on creating thumbnails (preview quality: standard, preview size: embedded). This with these versions:Bridge 14.1.1.274Camera raw 16.4 i've downgraded Camera raw to 16.0 and now it seems to work a little better (it allows me opening folders/see images), but this is not a solution, i need some advance help to solve this pr

I updated to 15.1.1.729 and my raw files in neither the thumbnail nor the preview  appear as modified by the sidecar xmp files until I update them in the new version of Bridge. My raw files are Canon CR3.

The last time I registered the copyright of images, was a few years ago, and I slogged through, using a workaround in Excel to create the required comma separated list of my images. The only time I use Excel is for this purpose every few years, and it's cumbersome time sucker to have to relearn. Rather than go through that process, is there a simpler way to make a comma separated list of hundreds of image files?  That would be a pretty cool feature to have in Bridge & Lightroom, for example. Thanks, Dennis

search in Russian language does not work

Ich habe einen Ordner mit ca 5000 Bildern und Bridge beginnt jedesmal beim Öffnen die Miniaturen neu zu generieren. Das kann teilweise bis zu 60 Minuten dauern. Ich finde keine Lösung um diesen Vorgang abzustellen. Auch der Adobe support konnte nicht helfen. Hat jemand eine Lösung für mich? Vielen Dank I have a folder with about 5000 pictures and Bridge starts to regenerate the thumbnails every time I open it. This can sometimes take up to 60 minutes. I cannot find a solution to stop this process. Adobe support could not help either. Does anyone have a solution for me? Thanks a lot
