Extremely slow downloading speed from Adobe Stock

My freelancer is facing very long download times for simple jpegs on the exact same machine he was able to download the entire CC suite in moments. Clearly, his connection is not the problem.

Is Adobe Stock throttling download speeds for certain IP ranges? We're in different countries, and I'm not experiencing the slowdown.

This is happening for me today also -- incredibly frustrating. All other sites (iStock, Getty, etc.) have perfectly normal download speeds, only Adobe Stock is having these issues. Aggravating that this problem has persisted since at least 2023 (countless comments/threads about this) and Adobe still hasn't resolved it. Also, would be helpful to not suggest that it's a particular user's problem, as it's clearly a widespread issue. Tested with multiple users/computers both at home and in office in varying network conditions, similar problem everywhere depending on the day [like today, where my 250mb video has another 2 hours to download]. Hoping Adobe will please iron this out, otherwise will just switch to iStock or Getty.

Download speed for me is instantly. So it can't be Adobe... (well, there is still a chance that it is Adobe, but this network would explode, if it would be.)

My guess: check your virus scanner, check your firewall, check your browser...

Has to be Adobe, this is a joke - download speed from my service is 50 MBPS and getting less than 1 KBPS from Adobe - rubbish!

there is definitely an issue for about 8 months now.  my att company managed router is fine, speeds are fine, only slow service is adobe and they need to resolve.  trying another product after 18 years due to no one there will investigate or resolve

My internet speed is measured at almost 1000 mb per second.  And yet it's taking me 30 minutes to download a 6 mb licensed image from Adobe Stock.  Adobe please look into this!  Time is money.  This is unacceptable.

They won't do anything about it.

They won't even look into it.

Adobe support consists of 1.) people who don't have anything to do with the
company but have endless amounts of time to give useless answers and 2.)
the occasional Adobe employee whose only job is to close tickets,
irrespective of the issue being fixed or not.

I honestly cannot wait until this company just collapses under its own
weight.

Hello @khanka88, sorry for the inconvenience. Which browser and version are you using?

@khanka88 ,

Did you try the different remedies?

Same issue! Downloading 1.1GB video currently queued at 30-45min download time. Makes the service almost unsuable. If this doesn't get addressed by my renewal date I'll probably move to a different service.

Ive been experiencing the same thing! Trying to download images from Adobe Stock for my assignment though, the downloads for small files would be up to 50 minutes. It used to only take a few seconds.
