P: Every uploaded image is flagged with the "content credentials" error.

Every image I upload as the first frame for Firefly Video generation is flagged with the "content credentials" error. Even when I create a completely new, flat white .jpg.

    Hi,

I’m on the Firefly Premium plan.

Whether I use my own pictures that I took with a camera, or my own Firefly-generated images, to use as a reference image in a video, I always get the error: "Upload another image: This image has Content Credentials that indicate it can't be used with generative AI features."

Here’s a random image we took with our camera that still gave us the same error message:

I KNOW there is a workaround that makes it work for Firefly-generated images by clicking the “share” button and selecting “image-to-video”, but it still doesn’t solve the issue because:

    1. It only works for Firefly-generated images and,
    2. Even for Firefly-generated images, “image-to-video” only sets it as the first frame of the video, but I can’t use it to add the last frame, and I can’t use to add more reference images.

I’ven facing tis issue too. Tested it with several images which I’ve taken or created. even after having removed meta data. Not even a screenshot works. We tested it in our organistation with several computers and assets. After some weeks, today I tested it again with new images. Same problem. We cannot use at all Firefly since this problem occurs. Yet we subscribed with an major AI platform to create Videos, as it seem like Adobe is a bit sleepy in fixing heavy bugs like this :-(

    Hi Nils_75,

    Thanks for reaching out!

We’ve started seeing similar reports from Enterprise users. Could you let us know if the issue also happens on Boards?

We’re trying to confirm if it’s the same situation another user described: ‘Our IT department found that the Content Credential API call was blocked by security software — which explains why image‑to‑video works in Firefly Boards (drag and drop from desktop) but not in the Generate module (where the upload triggers the call).’

If this matches your case, that would be super helpful. Your reports are really valuable and help the product team act quickly.

Firefly Boards seems to work. However I tested it only with 2 images.

The image has Content Credential on every image which I am loading. Even - as a test - a simple image with a few written letters.
I try with a white background with a sample text. I try with other background color. I use .png or .jpg extension to save files. What is the solution?
    Thanks

    Hi cipo2k8_pon5281,
I attempted to reproduce the issue using a #f7f7f7 background image but wasn’t able to replicate the error.

Could you please share the exact image you’re working with, along with a short screen recording showing the error as it occurs?

Once we have that, we’ll be glad to investigate further.

    Hi Nico-Bookbeat,

    Thank you for writing in.

To help us investigate further, please share a few examples of the images that were flagged with the ‘Content credentials’ message. We’d like to understand whether this issue occurs only with a specific model or across all models. If possible, providing screenshots of the warning message when using these images would be very helpful.

In the meantime, please try using a different browser and consider changing the image format to see if that resolves the issue.

Once you share the details, we’ll be glad to look into this more closely

Hello! I tried using another browser and I got the error message on the newly created white .jpg. Here are a couple of images I’ve tried and got the error message.
    Thanks!

Thank you for following up. Nico-Bookbeat

I tested the images you shared and was able to generate successfully from both keyframes using the Adobe Firefly video model as well as Sora 2. I also inspected the content authenticity for both outputs, and neither image carries any content credentials.

Generated video using the forest image as a keyframe (Firefly video model)
Generated video using the white image as a keyframe (Sora 2 model)

To help you move forward, I recommend:

    1. Generating your video directly from the video generator page instead of using the interface bar.

    2. Downloading the images attached in my reply, since I’ve reformatted them for compatibility.

Please try these steps and let us know if the issue is resolved or if you continue to encounter difficulties. We’ll be glad to escalate the matter further to the product team.

    Hi bishwajit89,
    Thanks for reporting this issue.

The error you’re seeing is probably a false flag linked to Content Credentials metadata. Could you share one of the images that triggers the error so we can test it? It would also help to know your browser and operating system.

In the meantime, you might try saving the image in a different format (like JPG) or re‑saving it to strip metadata before uploading, as this has worked for some users.

If nothing worked, please come back to us so we’ll flag this to the product team, to resolve the issue as soon as possible

I have not received the message in my inbox yet (there are some reliability issues with private messages in this new forum platform).  Can you try converting the image to another format and see if the new file works?

You used Firefly to generate the keyframe or something else?  Can you share the image? You can send it to me in a message if you do not want to post it.

    Thanks,
