I'm trying to create images with Gemini Nano Banana and often, it doesn't generate the image and displays the following message:

"Something went wrong. Please try agin later.".

I tried last night and it didn't work, and now, this morning, it doesn't work either. It’s not the first time it happens. It's frustrating because I have credits to use before they expire in a few days and if I can't use them, I lose them.

Hi everyone,

To help us investigate this further, we'd appreciate it if you could share a HAR file. Please follow the steps below to capture and attach it:

Open Google Chrome.
Press F12 on your keyboard (or right-click anywhere on the page and select Inspect) to open Developer Tools.
Go to the Network tab.
Enable Preserve log by checking the box at the top of the Network panel.
Reproduce the issue in Adobe Firefly.
Once the issue occurs, return to the Network panel.
Right-click anywhere within the list of network requests.
Select Save all as HAR with content.
Save the .har file to your computer.
Reply with the saved HAR file attached so our team can review it and investigate further.

Similar issues - pages just timeout and when you do finally get one to load and can input a prompt, you get an error on generate. Would be nice if there was an official bug report we can subscribe to so as to be notified when this is fixed.

Seedance 2.0 in Firefly fails to generate any video when reference images are used. Text-only prompts work fine. After debugging via DevTools, I identified the exact failure point. Root cause: Reference images appear to upload successfully in the UI, but they are not actually persisted to Adobe's storage servers. All subsequent processing steps fail because the images don't exist on the backend. Evidence from Network tab: 1. Image storage lookup returns 404: URL: https://platform-cs-edge-jpn3.adobe.io/composite/block/download/... Status: 404 Not Found (Note: "jpn3" suggests this is the Japan/APAC region storage node) 2. Seedance job fails with 400, response body: { "error_code": "bad_request", "sub_error_code": "media_classification_client_error", "message": "Gemini classification API returned HTTP 400: Cannot fetch content from the provided URL. Status: URL_REJECTED-REJECTED_FC_TIMEOUT, INVALID_ARGUMENT" } The failure chain is clear: upload silently fails → storage returns 404 → Gemini can't fetch the image for classification → Seedance job rejected. Environment: South Korea, tested on Chrome and Edge (both latest), cache/cookies cleared, multiple image formats and sizes tried.

I’m a user from South Korea. At first, I thought the issue might be related to facial-content restrictions, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. I get the same result even when I upload an animal character image, or when I use other cartoon character images that I created myself as references.

It only happens when I use the image reference feature. If I generate a video using only a text prompt, it works without any issues. As you mentioned, it seems there may be some kind of bug specifically affecting the image reference feature.

I was running into the same problem. I deleted the Seed file (under “Advanced Settings” on the “Generate Video Screen”) and it worked. Might try that.
