P: I keep getting "Something went wrong. Please try again later."

I'm trying to create images with Gemini Nano Banana and often, it doesn't generate the image and displays the following message:

"Something went wrong. Please try agin later.".

I tried last night and it didn't work, and now, this morning, it doesn't work either. It’s not the first time it happens. It's frustrating because I have credits to use before they expire in a few days and if I can't use them, I lose them.

Now I am having the same issue again! I used to have this exact same problem when I used the seven day free trial. Now I am on a different account which I paid for directly without the free seven day period. And the problem arises again (conveniently for Adobe just a day after the 14 day refund period)  And 90% of the time it won't even connect to any of the servers for the partnermodels (all partner models for image and video).

It is taking me so much time now to just to get it working. Sometimes I don't know how many times I have to press the generate button hoping this time it will connect, and I simply start forgetting what I'm actually generating because the creative process is just completely derailed.

Then there is this other issue where if you open an image or a video from the generation history there is this little pop-up (message about unlimited for a year) that comes on the screen for a fraction of a second unable to click it away. And then again everything is blocked I can't click anything and I have to refresh the page until it decides not to give the pop-up and then I can continue (10 to 20 times refreshing).

. I am going to get in the same situation as I was in before, having thousands of credits sitting unused until the next billing date (that payment always works like clockwork) and I will lose all the credits and not even being able to use them on the actual service I'm paying for.

This problem is been going on for almost a month now as I can read on this community, why hasn't there been a solution or even an acknowledgment of the problem.

I am not getting any of the service I am paying for. locking me in for a one year subscription plan and I'm not even able to use the credits that I'm provided with because the models/website/app just do not work and when I can use it it just works 10% of the time.

And I mean it doesn't work. I mean it doesn't even send the prompt to the dedicated server of the partnermodel. There is nothing wrong with the prompt, nothing wrong with the browser, nothing wrong with the device I'm using, there's nothing wrong with my Internet connection. This is a fundamental problem at the core of the accounts on the Adobe servers.

A free user doesn't have any problems with generating with a partnermodels using the free credits given. So why does it take a month for paying users to not be constantly blocked when using the service.

Sincerely hoping for a concrete answer, solution,  and apologies because constantly saying that it's a user error is getting old right now.

I have given and send you everything that you were asking for. I created HAR files  and videoscreen-recordings multiple times now.

That is the weirdest part. We pay for these tools and very few of them actually works. Why are they charging for applications that don’t work?

I made a post summarizing the issue I experienced. In my case, the generic error was caused by a prompt exceeding 1,000 characters, but Firefly did not show any clear validation message. This may help if you are facing the same problem.

If that is the case, then its unacceptable. My prompts was working last week and the same prompt work in chatGPT which is the model i use. Adobe keeps putting up roadblocks

is this seriously still going on?  I've had this problem no more than two weeks ago. I have addressed this in multiple threads to Adobe that  it has something to do with the seven day trial period.

I've had that problem (not a single generation possible with the partner models} when I was on a seven day trial, when I created a new account and then paid for the account without selecting the free trial everything worked perfectly.

I just was curious and checked out the community-site seeing if people still have this problem and I'm amazed that it's still not fixed or even addressed.

I lost so much money because I had to use other services before I found out that it has to do with a seven day trial.

Hello everyone. Any news? Because on my end it's blocked. With Google Chrome, in nano banana mode, or Firefly, no matter what the request is. Not to mention that I feel like my browser under Firefly is connected to a 56K modem.

Is a fix planned? Or at least an explanation of what's causing the issue? It's becoming difficult to work on our projects with any peace of mind under these conditions.

Thanks in advance for a response.

    SOLUTION

Since I see no response from Adobe.

The problem is that when you purchase a subscription and want to add the 7 day free trial period.

Then all the partnermodels are being blocked (unable to connect to the servers).

I had purchased a subscription with the 7 day trial period and on day 3 from one moment to another  all (partnermodels) stopped working.

Now I made a new account payed for the subscription right away without requesting the 7 day free trial.

And everything is in perfect working order (well not perfect, the webapp is still full of annoying - and preformance bottlenecking bugs).

So if you are in the same situation with a seven day trial. And you want to start using the software right now, just create a new account so you can use the 30% off promo (because the promo probably will not work anymore if you cancel your account before the trail period has expired} , and pay for the subscription without a 7 day free trial.

I really don't no why it's so difficult for Adobe to just communicate this to the customer so they can get going again creating and working on projects.

Not for me. I paid for it straight up no trial, and I can’t generate a single image. wtf.
