Generating in Gemini 3.0 and 3.1 not working. “Something went wrong. Please try again later.”

Update: This issue seems to be fixed now. Let us know if you are still having trouble with image generations

Can you please reply with the following information:

• A screen shot of the whole browser or application window (including your avatar in the upper right corner) with the error or problem showing or when the problem is happening (not just the error message itself).

• What model were you using (such as Firefly Image 3, Firefly Image 4, Firefly Image 4 Ultra, Imagen 3, etc.)?

• A copy of the keyframe(s) or reference images (if any) you were using.

This helps us help you. Sometimes there might be a trigger word in the prompt.
Common problems

Trademarked / Copyright
Political figures / Celebrities
if it has children or child like images (an absolute no/ firefly will not generate anything that even resembles a child/ even childlike)

or

- the prompt has words associated with children example: boy, girl, kid, kids, child, children and so on...
Many Generation Models will not generate anything to do with children.

Thinking forever and then just saying something went wrong. None of the models are working. My co-workers’ are working just fine.

I’m facing the same problem. I thought it’s only me but seems like more people are facing the same problem. Hopefully they will notice this and fix this soon.

I get 'Something went wrong' on over 50% of the firefly generations. I mean you guys are the ones making the tools. If you don't know what went wrong then who does? And I am paying for this, It should just work or it costs me a tonne. Time is money.

Fix this or tell us what's wrong. You can just shrug your shoulders and put some image of a dog and expect everything to be ok. I am running a company and I pay for this service. Make it work or don't offer it.

I am trying to generate some images with ai using Gemini 3 (w/Nano Banana Pro). but it’s not working. Every time i hit the generate button, it shows “Something went wrong. Please try again later.” (See the attached screenshot).

At first i thought it’s the model issue. So i changed the model to Gemini 3.1 (w/Nano Banana 2). But the problem didn’t solve. Then i tried to generate with firefly image 5 and the result is same.

Trying this from 26/03/2026, around 2:00pm o’clock till now.

Tried clearing the cookies, restart pc but no solution at all.

Is it a bug? Anyone is facing the same problem or is it just me? Any solution would be great help. Thanks.
