Hi, I'm Having the following problems with QT Prores files in AE 23 M1 Studio Mac:Color bending in Prores 4444 Slightly less color bending, but still lots of it, in Prores 422HQ These problems do NOT accure when opening the same clips on a different app like Davinci Resolve.(I am workin in 32bit color space) Also:Slight Color shift (towards green) when rendering Prores 4444 from AEAnd instability in color when using Proxy mode on Prores 4444 files (color shifts every few frames)  Does anybody els have these problems?

Buongiorno, come da titolo sto provando ad utilizzare Adobe AE ma una semplicissima animazione, basata sul cambio di scala di un immagine che prevede due semplici keyframe, non funziona!Il rendering non viene eseguito e quando si manda in play, il software fa cose bizzarre!Salta i key frame oppure avanza qualche secondo e poi torna all'inizio e infine manda in crash il pc.Il mio hardwareScheda madre Asus Z390Processore Intel I9 9900 KFScheda video Nvidia RTX 2060Ram Trident 16 Gb.E' quasi passato un mese da quando ho effettuato l'abbonamento al cloud e ancora non sono riuscito a concludere nulla! 😞Max. 

After effects crashes all the time. It crashes every 5 minutes and won't let me work.Don't tell me it's my computer's fault:-i9 9900k-Rtx 2070 super-64gb ram 3600mhz-Installed on m2 samsung 1tbWhy should I pay for a program that behaves like this? Developed worse and worse!It is convenient for everyone to move on to free competitors!

Video Specifications: Lossless30fps20 seconds For some reason everytime I export this video, the client comes back and tells me the video I sent over is 20.33 seconds long. We are using WeTransfer to send over the file so I dont know if that can affect it? The timeline is set to exactly 20 seconds with the work areas pushed to the ends and composition settings set to 20 seconds exactly   

I've been having this bug for a while now and i can't seem to find any info on it.When I use replace footage on a simple photo and replace it for another photo with another name the picture is replaced but the name of the picture is still the name of the previous picture.This is driving me nuts because for my project I have to replace a lot of persons/pictures and I have to rename each file maually because of this.Does anyone know how to solve this?

Bonjour,Je rencontre un souci tout nouveau de typo lors de l'ouverture de mon fichier After.En effet, ce fichier fut créé sur ma machine et retravaillé par une autre personne. Quand l'autre personne a ouvert le fichier il lui manquait une typo pourtant bien présente sur sa machine. Il a quand même fait les modifs et me l'a renvoyé et à présent à mon tour de ne plus avoir accès à cette typo... Quelqu'un sait-il pourquoi AE n'arrive pas à retrouver une typo d'une machine à l'autre alors que bien installée ? Merci d'avance pour votre aide.Bonne journée

Everything was fine in After Effects until I was exporting via media encoder....and then I tabbed to Davinci Resolve to fiddle with some color grading while it was exporting, and it said it failed for some reason, I didn't see the fail message, but when I went into AE to re export it, it told meThere was a problem accessing the audio or video data for 4 of my clips When I clicked to re link them, they are all black and won't even show the eye to enable them.  In preview they are black,, in timeline, everywhere.  I confirmed the file is NOT corrupted.  It is working in other editing programs just fine.  But just in case, I even deleted that file and went into my back up hard drive to copy it from the original file.......and it is STILL black and not showing anything in AE. I found another post that someone said you had to delete preferences.  I did that, nothing changed.  I reloaded much older auto safe files, same exact files are not being read.&

Hoje na hora de realizar mais uma das criações aparece essa tela de erro quando eu abro o plugin! Já desintalei o plugin e instalei novamente e nada mudou...  Minha configuração: i9 interposer 11900h, Gtx 970, 16gb ddr4 3200, ssd sansung evo 980 m.2

Do you guys have an email address to send examples too? I can't share this project here. This is a simple comp, replace file with another render. AE refuses to then play the comp, freezes and never plays. This is 100% reproducible bug.   This is on multiple machines, all Windows 10 (latest) Nvidia drivers (latest) AE (latest). All workstations have 2xRTX3090s, 128GB RAM, Ryzen 9 5950X. All working over 10GB network to a SAN.

Hi,My After Effects project takes 11minutes to render out in h.264 1080p but takes 60 minutes to render the full 4K ProRes 422HQ version.Is this normal? I'm running AE on a Mac Studio Ultra with 128GB of Ram. When rendering, AE displays that it's only using 1% of RAM.I thought the Mac Studio Ultra had a h.264, h.265 and ProRes decode and encode accelerators. Is After Effects only hooked up to the h.264 accelarator? Thanks

I've been having trouble rendering the entire week at this point and the weirdest issues. I'm doing compositing with larger files ~4.5K and for the most part, it is all working and previewing until I hit render.  At one point it took about 30 minutes to render out a png sequence of 63 frames of just the footage without any effects. I put the same footage in media encoder and the entire clip of ~170 frames rendered in about 5min... When I hit render a few potential things happen:1. It starts to render, but after a few frames, it hangs forever, and I have to kill AE process. 2. It loops indefinitely on preparing render.3. AE crash or blue screen The bluescreen codes were always VIDEO_MEMORY_MANAGEMENT_INTERNAL and it was always dxgmms2.sys indicating a gpu/driver related issue. But what ultimately ended up working was disabling hardware accelerated GPU scheduling & reinstalling AE and all my plugins. My system: Ryzen 7 2700x32gb ram ddr4RTX 208

A particular File is in question. When I began altering a specific template file, that was rendering fine up until a certain point, it began freezing upon the first second of RENDER. I am not able to get the file to Budge past 1% and it hangs completely, no time lapses. Used Media Encoder and A simple AE render...NADA! FROZEN! I tested to see if I accidentally altered any scripting on the template causing some weird chain reaction, any effects causing errors or plugins could be hung up..deleted some...simple process of elimination. No matter what I delete...the file refuses to Render ( but I get no errors otherwise ). When I open another project, No matter how detailed or simple...it Renders fine, and quick. SO, the issue remains with this particular file. I cannot Share the file as it is a work for hire situation. But I can screenshot some elements here and there.  ( THE PROJECT DOES CONTAIN A FAIR USE OF MAXON /RED GIANT PLUGINS...I ALWAYS SEEM TO HAVE ISSUE WITH THOSE

Hi there!For some reason I can't change some letters to capital version. I used Poppins Bold Font, which i used before in another Adobe programs, without problem. If I try to change it manually (with the shift button) the font changes into Times New Roman. Do you have any idea what the problem could be?(the problematic letters are c, i, s and z, After Effects 2023 version, fully updated, OS is Windows 10 pro)

Hello! I am having issue with my After Effects. This prompts up whenever another user send me his/her After Effects file. I have tried deleting my caches, reinstall After Effect and restarting my Mac. But this still happens. Does anyone have the similar issue?

Hello, When trying to export from AE via AME (or render queue) I get a black screen. Audio comes out clean.My computer is an old Macbook Pro running on 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 with 16GB RAM and Nvidia Gefore GT 750M 2GM. My specs are on the minimum req bracket, but since I can edit fine I don't understand why the exports now after the upgrade don't work.I can see in AME that it doesn't even generate a preview.My workaround for the moment is exporting an image sequence that I import back in Quicktime.I've tested the same project on a iMac with the same versions of AE and AME and have no problems. So it's not a bug in may layers. Help much appreciated!  PS. I've reinstalled. I've cleared the cache. I've tried rendering in Hardware and Software, allocated more Ram, I've tried copying the project pasting to another comp. I've tried other projects, other comps. Nothing.  

I'm working with a new PC where I've literally doubled everything compared to my previous system in my attempt to avoid this exact situation, (RAM went from 64 gigs to 128 gigs, and upgraded graphics card from 2080 ti (11 gigs) to a 4090 (24 gigs), and a project I'm working on that involves pretty basic compositing is running out of memory either on the GPU or my system memory. The odd thing is I feel like I've done more complicated comps on the older system without this being as much of an issue. any suggestions? I have cleared memory and disk cache, disabled my other monitors, disabled effects like neatvideo and lumetri. the only non first-party app I'm using is Maxon/Red Giant Supercomp which I hope isn't the issue since I'd have to basically restart from scratch

Hi! When I go to File > Dependencies > Collect files, it always collets the entire project regardless if I select th ereduce option. I see this has been an issue since 2021, and in that post, it's been an issue for "years". https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects-discussions/dependencies-collect-files-not-working/m-p/12225824#M177680If you're not going to fix the feature for this long, why not just remove the checkbox? 

hallo, ich habe gestern abend über die creativ cloud after effects und weitere apps auf windows installier. nach der installation konnte ich die app nicht starten. fehlermeldung: anwendungsfehler. habe es auch schon deinstalliert und neu installiert. keine chanche. hat jemand eine idee

My after effects doesn't work after update. I have this message :  after effect cannot continue: Unexpected failure when starting the application. I can't understand the problem I work on macOS Catalina and normally it should work with After effects (22.0) Help please 

Motion Sketch does not play audio when capturing. This used to work -- what happened?

Hi All,  I'm currently running AE v23.2.1, (build 3) and have downloaded the most current version of VC Saber available from their sight (Jan 2023). My issue is this: In some scenes, I am seeings vertical banding lines being rendered when the saber plugin is turned on. I have not been able to replicate the issue continuously. It only shows up occationally. I have attached a screen shots for reference:OriginalSaber banding I've changed every option I can think of in Saber, but nothing works to remove it. My only option is to restart the AE file from the beginning which is not a resonable option at all. The first time I noticed this happeneing was in Nov 2022. I thought it had something to do with the footage being too bright and that was somehow causing Saber to blow out the screen causing the banding, but this current scene I am working on is conciderably darker.Has anyone else encoutered this issue?
