Adobe Bridge 2025 does not always write the metadata successfully to OneDrive synced files

Issue: If I select multiple files e.g. 100,  stored in a OneDrive synced folder (even if the files are stored local - green tick) and set a tag or give a rating, then some files are always not changed.

Bridge version15.0.4.534

Operating system: Windows 10 24H2 (Build 26100.4061)

File Storage: In a OneDrive synchronized Windows folder, where the files are synchronized locally (“Files on demand” is disabled, i.e. all files are synchronized locally and have a green tick)

Error Message: An error occurred during writing metadata in/to xyz.jpg (Caution, translated from German)

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Prepare 100 files in a OneDrive Sync folder, make sure that all files are synchronized locally and have a green tick
  2. Open Adobe Bridge
  3. Select any view where you can select multiple files
  4. Select multiple files e.g. 100
  5. Add a tag
  6. Note that not all selected images have the tag
  7. Repeat steps 4,5 until all files have the tag
  8. Pause the OneDrive synchronisation
  9. Select all files and remove the tag
  10. Note that no error occured and all files removed the tag

Actual result: Not all files got the tag written the first time except the OneDrive synced is disabled

Expected result: All selected files should get the tag written the first time even if OneDrive synced is enabled

This is a reproducible behavior and sometimes an error is displayed.
I clicked through photos one by one and rated them. When I looked through them the second time, I'm pretty sure that the rating was not written for some of the pictures. However, I can hardly reproduce this.
