Adobe bridge has frozen. I can scroll left hand bar but not open any files.

Bridge frozen, perfectly ok previous day.  I can use the left hand scroll bar but cannot open any files.  There is no malware.  I have the latest version. have reset preferences, reset default workspace and purged cache.  I have checked start up scripts. etc., 

 

Any ideas please.  

 

If I delete Bridge and reinstall do I have to do this in a certain order OR just delete the programme???

Please follow the instructions mentioned at the following link for uninstallation:

https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

 

You can then go ahead and reinstall the application.
