P: Lightroom Desktop Keeps saying 'Unable to Connect to Network'

Trying to switch to Lightroom CC but I keep getting 'Unable to Connect to Network' in sync status. If I restart the application it might work for 50-60 photos and then returns to this error message. I'm trying to sync ~12K mobile photos before another 40K RAW images so obviously need to be able to let this run in the background and over night. Have tried restarting the computer as well to no luck.

Any other suggestions on what I can try?

What kind of setting do you use? Lightroom Version, MAC OS/windows, NAS, SMB, ...?

@Rikk Do you have any updates?

About 10,000 photos left. Once again, process has ground to a halt.

Image is not available

As soon as the network drive is not available, Lightroom (not Classic) works with the cloud smoothly. I see the read information about the missing drive as workaround sign :).

@8510810 btw Lightroom Classic tries to sync all >100k photos also and nothing happens/changes since months. Any ideas?

Let me suggest it again, lets do skype/zoom session together with some of your developers and users from this forum.

I don't have the feeling that we move forward here... If you have a different view, please tell me.

Thanks for the continued detailed updates Moe. This thread is ported directly into our bug where we are investigating this issue. The more information we have the better.

Didn't work for me. Still looking for an idea/answer to solve the problem.

@8510810 What do you think about this behaviour?

Directly after the start Lightroom shows active connection to the cloud/network but after 2 or 3 seconds the connection is lost. Probably when Lightroom recognise the network volume and then its over...

@ALL Has someone exactly the same pattern?

No. This machine cannot be updated. I do have a separate MBPr that is 10.15.4 that is configured for a different catalog (Adobe ID). It works fine also.

Can you update to Mac OS X Catalina latest version 10.15.4? And see if it still works?
