P: Arabic text issue

In a font, each glyph must have a unique name

Guys,

The new photoshop version 21.2 has ruined the functionality of non-unicode Arabic fonts.

I uncheked it, restarted PS again, but the problem still exists

Can you uncheck the check box in Type preference "Enable missing glyph protection" and see whether the bug will go away?

Thank you all for bringing this matter to our attention.  We're currently investigating a fix and hope to be able to offer a solution soon.
The easiest workaround would be to roll back to 21.1.3 for now -- but not too long, I hope!

Hi, I have the same issue, since updating most Hebrew fonts are not working... I have several purchased fonts that were working perfectly until the update this morning. Please help, this is a catastrophe for my work!

The guttman family arrived years ago with MS Office, so I'm guessing that if you will install the Hebrew addition to MS Office, you will also get the guttman family

Regarding FbAfarsek, I cannot find a free download of this font, and I do not remember where I donwload it from.

In any case, this is regarding the openType, but what about the other type. Most of my fonts are not open type, but TrueType fonts, and most of them do not work.

And... as you can see in my first video which I sent, on previous versions of PS all the fonts (OTF and TTF) are working.
