P: Can't save changes to the Adobe Photoshop document "" before quitting

I have recently installed Photoshop CC 2017.1 on a brand new computer.
Everything seems to be working fine until I try to close Photoshop at the end of a session.
I get the message "save changes to the Adobe Photoshop document "" before quitting"
I tried to save the non existant document and now get a message telling me that the document is being saved in the background, Photoshop will quit after saving has completed.
This seems to take forever to complete.
I tried creating a new file 100px X100px and tried to save it and now see the
Adobe Photoshop CC 2017 has stopped working message.
Upon restarting Photoshop it seems to work as expected and closed down properly.
This is the third time today I have had this problem so it seems like time to see if anyone can offer some help

By the way, I have to open Task Manager and End task to close Photoshop.

I'm having the same problem almost every time I try to close Photoshop CC on a Windows 10 Pro 64-bit PC after installing the latest update a few days ago. I've included a screen capture.

Yes, same issue when opening exe and running as Administrator.

To reproduce:
Open Ps
Open a file
Print it
Close Ps
At this point I'm prompted to save the file I printed > respond yes or no (it doesn't matter)
Dialog appears prompting me to save the file "".

Is this reproducible with any steps? (e.g. open PS, open a file, close file, quit PS)

If you right-click the Photoshop.exe and run it as Administrator, do you get the same issue with saving/unable to quit?

I also ran into this problem after updating to PS 2017.1.0.
Also running W7 64-bit.
