My cursor keeps disappearing with CS4 and CS5. This started after I installed Mountain Lion. I have noticed this on 2 different iMacs, one at home and one at work.

The Apple tech Jacob says millions of people are using photoshop without a problem and that they have never heard of this problem and cannot fix it. He was not interested in seeing it on my screen. Neither side has returned call- not Adobe/Chris nor the Apple engineers. I have decided to do the total reinstall. A week has gone by, unable to function, time is wasting.. I have Lion support. CS4 is no longer supported and I dont want to throw more money at Adobe till more is known. If I thought it would work, I would tho...

Start with their forums, and tell them how much it is impacting you.

We've told Apple about it, and documented what we can. So there's not much more we can do.

He has to be out of the loop: this bug has been in RADAR for many months, and quite frequently posted about on Apple's own forums and elsewhere.

He was the second higher-level Apple Care rep who said that the problem is with Adobe and that software developers are responsible to get their apps working properly.

How do you propose that we let Apple know?

I spoke with another Apple Care "supervisor". A very knowledgable guy. Either you are mistaken Chris or the this guy is severely out of the loop.

Please let Apple know how much this OS bug is affecting your work, and help them prioritize the fix so it will be released sooner instead of later.

Many other users have experienced it with other applications.
Apple acknowledges that this is an OS bug (even if their outsourced lower level support people do not).

Yes, me too, every other App is perfect. So this infers that it must be an Adobe problem - all this money for an expensive Mac and Software and yet, I can't do my job, I'm designing a logo right now, and can't get into the "flow" of the design/concept, because I keep getting distracted/disturbed by this rubbish.

I could have done this logo with my 4 years old Mac sitting in my box! I'm tempted to unbox it! Jesus!
