P: CS6 / CC Keyboard shortcuts not responding Mavericks/Yosemite MacOS 10.9; 10.10

Since Installing Mavericks on my mac pro, the keyboard shortcuts, such as zooming in/out, undo etc, intermittently do not respond.
I have to click on another tool in the tool bar to get the keyboard to respond again.
The problem returns intermittently and seemingly not as a result of the Auto Save function.
My mac pro 15" has 8gb of ram which is more than enough for the type of work I do.I am an illustrator who primarily works around the brush tool.
Have tried disabling Graphics Processor and restarting, but this does not resolve the issue.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Adam, I agree it's quite possible there is more than one issue at play here. On another thread, David solved a KB shortcut malfunction to a 3rd party utility called "MagicMenus" being installed on the system - and there may be other issues like this with other drivers/extensions. You can test without any extensions and default drivers by running in "Safe Mode": http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/201...

We know there is at least one issue with Apple + Wacom + Photoshop. As we have stated, we are investigating this issue with these partners. I'm sorry this is a slow process - but this is often the case with issues that have complex multiple interdependencies.

Jerry, where did Kendall say she was using Mountain Lion? "I JUST bought a brand new macmini last month and a new 22HD cintiq to go with it. The mac uses Mavericks(...)"

I'm just as passionate about getting this fixed, but dozens of anecdotal accounts from users upgrading to Mavericks indicate that Adobe CC / CS6, Mavericks, AND any capacitive input device are integral to getting this error to reproduce. I don't see anywhere where Kendall or any other user has said they are getting the error to display on another OS.

Could it be a memory leak? The memory filling up when we work and the graphic can't deal with it? I experience that the memory not go down enough when I close program. I see it on the activity monitor!

I won't ask for a refund, as far as Adobe is concerned I have not yet given up hope that it will get it fixed.

Very disappointed to hear it's dropped off the radar though. If it doesn't get fixed (within a reasonable period of time of course), I'm stopping here simply because I can't use something that doesn't work.

Haha yes that would do it. Do you get an instant refund for CS6? Mine cost me £1200 as part of Design Standard.

Finally - I really do have a fix for the problem! I have been working for over 15 mins with not a single glitch and the way it is so responsive again gives me confidence it's going to stay this way. No weird keyboard responses, no random hangs.

although I hope it is temporary (and a proper, permanent, solution can be found by Adobe) - so far Ps is working smoothly and snappily just like it used to and that's all I ask.

It's far from ideal - but here's what I did:
I uninstalled PsCS6 and installed psCS5

Has anyone else broached the subject with Adobe about our subscription costs? I am feeling that with this issue now unresolved for so long, I am paying every month to use a product – Photoshop CC – which as far as I am concerned is unsuitable for me to work with in its current state.

Adobe seems to be the one keeping its customers informed but this bug has to concern Apple just as much or maybe even more.

A constant interruption in the workflow renders any extra buck spent on performance pointless. It's like buying a Ferrari and yes, the car is super fast but for an unknown reason every half a mile the steering wheel becomes unresponsive and you have to make a complete stop, touch the dashboard with your finger and start driving again.
