P: CS6 / CC Keyboard shortcuts not responding Mavericks/Yosemite MacOS 10.9; 10.10

I bet the focus would shift if we all cancelled our CC subscriptions.

I don't mind where it sits in the priority queue, I would however like to see more transparent communication around how it is progressing. I don't feel comfortable being told to sit tight and wait in hope...

We've been working with Apple to try and find the cause, without much luck.
Unfortunately we've had to shift focus to other, more urgent, bugs introduced in MacOS 10.9.

Any update on this Adobe? This makes photoshop incredibly frustrating to work with. It seems the bug was reproduced on your side 4 months ago, please give us a heads up.

It sounds like you're experiencing a different bug than others in this thread. I believe yours is related to non-english languages and keyboard input in PS, and I've seen a few similar fixes around the apple forums.

I run photoshop with a US english keyboard, and unfortunately these fixes do not fix the intermittent keyboard communication cutouts myself and others are experiencing.

Another small nugget of info.

As part of a separate troubleshooting exercise for a different issue (with Fontbook) I reinstalled OSX.

Just in case anybody is thinking of trying it, don't bother, the keyboard problem is still there.

I also tried it. Doesn't work for me either. :(
Still can't figure out why they stop working. It's just random. Must be a pain to debug.

As crazy as it sounds I did it, it doesn't work.

Has anyone else tried Joley's fix?

PROBLEM IS RESOLVED FOR ME !!! IM SO RELIEVED !!!

THIS IS MY FIRST POST BECAUSE AFTER I SUCCEED FIXING THE PROBLEM I COME STRAIGHT HERE TO SHARE!!!

THIS IS WHAT I DID:

QUIT PHOTOSHOP -> OPEN FINDER -> TYPE TO SEARCH : Default Keyboard Shortcuts.kys -> RUN THE FILE , IT WILL OPEN PHOTOSHOP AND ASK YOU IF YOU WANT TO SAVE THE CURRENT SHORTCUTS, CLICK DON'T SAVE -> VOILA !!!

I'VE QUIT AND OPENED PHOTOSHOP SEVERAL TIMES TO MAKE SURE. AND IM USING VIETNAMESE KEYBOARD INPUT, NO PROBLEM AT ALL SWITCHING TO OTHERS.

THE SHORTCUTS ARE TRULY BACK !!!

BUT I HAVENT TRIED TO RESET THE PC.

SO DO THE SAME AND LET ME KNOW IF IT WORKS FOR YOU !!!

Although this may be an OS X issue, Adobe is the only company willing to work out bugs like this. Apple most likely won't do anything. If there's anything Adobe can do to work around it, just like the amazing plugin they released to fix the white menu glitch, that would be great.

I have to stress that this keyboard bug is worse than the white menu bug, as that one only occurred 2-3 times a day, but this one occurs probably hundreds of times a day if not more.

There's got to be a solution, it's been going on for a very long time now, and I simply can't believe that from now on Photoshop will be like this...
