P: CS6 / CC Keyboard shortcuts not responding Mavericks/Yosemite MacOS 10.9; 10.10

Most of what I have to say has already been gone over by other users. My workstation has CS6, I'm running the Mavericks OS, and I use a wacom tablet with the latest drivers. My experience is virtually identical to many other users in this thread.

This is the first major, unfixed obstruction to my workflow I've encountered after years of working with apple, adobe, and wacom products. The regular interruptions from this bug render the program entirely unusable to me, and since I purchased my computer (late 2013 MBP) chiefly for creative work, my setup represents a significant investment for which I am receiving no returns. Photoshop, in this state, is entirely unusable to me.

My question to Chris Cox, Jeffrey Tranberry and David: Where are we on resolving this issue? Can you confirm whether Adobe is working to resolve this issue internally, or are you in dialogues with Apple in hopes they will fix it in an OS update?

Finally, until this bug is fixed, why does it not appear on this list of OS Compatibility errors?:

I feel if your developers are not making significant headway, it is only fair to your consumers that you update this FAQ with the appropriate information. This error, which is unmentioned in the FAQ, effects 100% of wacom users (which, I would only imagine, accounts for MANY professional photoshop users) on mac OS X 10.9, and it only seems reasonable to make customers aware before their purchase.

I check various forums everyday for updates or answers. Nothing so far, and it's been quite a while since the update to Mavericks. I've been a long time Apple, Adobe and Wacom user and I don't remember nothing taking this long to resolve.

The question now is will it ever get fixed.

Keyboard shortcuts are fundamental. Why would you spend $3500 on a super fast processor computer and then waste your precious time on waiting for the keyboard to wake up from a random coma.

Still no progress on a fix to this super frustrating and irritating bug or whatsoever that is happening... Wacom forum gives no resolve. Here has no resolve. Maybe its Apple that needs a good bashing!

I've been having the problem described (key strokes become unresponsive until I tap the interface with pen) since using a Macbook Air with Photoshop CC, Mavericks, and Wacom Cintiq 21 UX. I experimented with different Wacom drivers (always uninstalling the previous one of course) and still had the problem.

I have a Huion graphics tablet and am using it right now. I uninstalled the Wacom driver, restarted, repaired permissions, and am using the Huion driver. I am still having the same problem. So I'm concluding that Wacom alone isn't the culprit.

It's been a month.......

I have Photoshop CC and Photoshop CS4 installed on the same iMac which is running Mavericks 10.9. I am using a Wacom Intuous 5 Touch with Driver 6.3.7-3 installed.

The problems mentioned above, namely no keystroke response , no command z, no tool switch response etc. DOES NOT OCCUR in CS4 which is why I have now had to go back to using it.

This is a bug in Photoshop CC.

Is there any progress with Adobe addressing this issue?

I'm reluctantly rolling my iMac back to Mountain Lion tonight.

Yup same problem since installing Mavericks. Loosing precious work time. Please help.
