P: CS6 / CC Keyboard shortcuts not responding Mavericks/Yosemite MacOS 10.9; 10.10

Since Installing Mavericks on my mac pro, the keyboard shortcuts, such as zooming in/out, undo etc, intermittently do not respond.
I have to click on another tool in the tool bar to get the keyboard to respond again.
The problem returns intermittently and seemingly not as a result of the Auto Save function.
My mac pro 15" has 8gb of ram which is more than enough for the type of work I do.I am an illustrator who primarily works around the brush tool.
Have tried disabling Graphics Processor and restarting, but this does not resolve the issue.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Mark, today is the first time you've had steps for your issue, and as I posted in the other thread (which I read AFTER this one), I cannot reproduce your issue on either platform, so there is some missing element. I triage ALL bugs even remotely tangential to my areas. Keyboard shortcuts are not a common complaint for English-speaking users and there have been very few KBSC issues which are not third party. Clearly, the issues you seem to be describing do NOT belong here and should be addressed (with clear steps) in their own thread ELSEWHERE.

David, I've been reporting these bugs for years. We also been discussing one of those WITH YOU in another thread.

Hi Mark,

For a bug to be addressed, it needs to be reported. I handle keyboard shortcut bugs and I have no idea what you're referring to. The vast majority are NOT in the English product. Whatever issue you're encountering is not something most users seem to encounter (based on feedback), but if you would like it addressed, then IN A SEPARATE THREAD go ahead and post your issues and (after the holidays, cuz I'm on vacation after today) I will try to get them addressed.

Thanks,
David

I didn't mean this particular bug. I was talking in general, because every version of PS since CS5 has had some bugs with keyboard shortcuts (some of them only occur if you use shortcuts a certain way). But it's never a 3d-party's or the OS's fault.

Same here. It sounds like Mark's complaint is that his key commands dont work, period. For me (and what it seems like the majority of people here), its a matter of key comments intermittently not working--as if there is some kind of occasionally hiccup (which happened after Mavericks).

Weird cause I've never heard about this before you. It's really since the Maverick update that the things started.

Ever since CS5 came out, working with keyboard shortcuts combinations became a nightmare. Some combinations just stop working for some reason. The problem has been reported ever since CS5, but it is still persistent (in various iterations) in every version of Photoshop up to and including CC.

I think it's safe to say that Adobe will never fix those problems, even in future releases, because 4 years sounds like more than plenty of time to do that. But alas.

going ahead, I'm almost sure the freeze only occurs when "dragging" the brush, not when doing a single click.

Forgot saying: same on my 2008 MP (20GB ram) and my late 2011 MBP (16GB ram)
all fresh installed and well kept.
