P: CS6 / CC Keyboard shortcuts not responding Mavericks/Yosemite MacOS 10.9; 10.10

Since Installing Mavericks on my mac pro, the keyboard shortcuts, such as zooming in/out, undo etc, intermittently do not respond.
I have to click on another tool in the tool bar to get the keyboard to respond again.
The problem returns intermittently and seemingly not as a result of the Auto Save function.
My mac pro 15" has 8gb of ram which is more than enough for the type of work I do.I am an illustrator who primarily works around the brush tool.
Have tried disabling Graphics Processor and restarting, but this does not resolve the issue.

Any help would be most appreciated.

To follow up with my last post:
I had both the intuos and Bamboo drivers installed on my computer and ha many of the same issues as the rest on this forum.
I Removed the Intuos drivers and did a reinstall of the bamboo
(not removing the old bamboo drivers, just downloaded the current driver and did an install over the old)
Currently working with a old corded mouse old mac keyboard and a Bamboo CTL-470 with zero issues to report.

Yes, I also have this issue on top of the keyboard issue Ive noted previously. They are absolutely NOT the same issue in my experience though.

Hi all,

I might be wrong, but I think today I realized that -in my case- Photoshop "freezes" in Mavericks only when painting, especially with very large brushes (standard brushes).

Maybe it looks like KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS don't work, but in my own experience I've seen that PS is simply frozen, until when I switch to another application than back to PS.

no tablet or drives installed.

hope it helps to narrow down the problem.

After uninstalling the latest Wacom Intuos5 driver the problem vanished for me. And re-appeared as soon as I reinstalled it. Sadly the tablet are virtually useless without drivers. What's the proper forum to bug Wacom about this problem?

Hi David,

Have you tried with the last dev update of Maverick ( 10.9.1 ) ?
It seems that this version corrected some instabilities on other apps

it is on cs6 too as far as I know
