P: CS6 / CC Keyboard shortcuts not responding Mavericks/Yosemite MacOS 10.9; 10.10

Since Installing Mavericks on my mac pro, the keyboard shortcuts, such as zooming in/out, undo etc, intermittently do not respond.
I have to click on another tool in the tool bar to get the keyboard to respond again.
The problem returns intermittently and seemingly not as a result of the Auto Save function.
My mac pro 15" has 8gb of ram which is more than enough for the type of work I do.I am an illustrator who primarily works around the brush tool.
Have tried disabling Graphics Processor and restarting, but this does not resolve the issue.

Any help would be most appreciated.

What you are encountering sounds like a different issue. Try restoring your preferences: http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/201... If you do restore your prefs, please save a copy of your existing prefs in case they turn out to be the culprit. Having the bad prefs can sometimes help us track down the issue.

You're really unlucky. After a frustrating Year (!) with PS6 and OS 10.9 / OS 10.10 I finally updated to PS CC 2014 what solved the shortcut- Problems.

But this version does not save thumbnails and previews as PS6. So left the one problem, got new ones. Instead of stupid animations and transparencies the developers should come back to clear and running systems without blown-up surroundings and gimmicks nobody really needs! Thes blow-ups all cause problems.

Any updates to this? I'm on the latest everything (Yosemite and Photoshop CC 2014) and drawing in Photoshop is so frustrating. It starts okay but after a few shortcuts tool switching slows down to a halt and you don't know if a tool is active or not until you try and then it isn't of course and you have to click every menu and tool by hand. I would say this problem is not solved at all.

And how do I get the Adobe version of the Crash report, if only the Apple crash report appears?

We won't respond to every crash report, especially on older versions of the products. If we have a known solution to the issue, then it will open in your browser after sending in the Adobe version of the crash report.

It may be the Apple crash reporter. You may want to start a different thread for your crashing issue.

I have sent a crash report but the window of the crash report looks different from the one in the page "http://blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/201..." there is no space for an eMail Addres.
At the moment i'm not sure if its the Adobe or Apple Crash report. Seems to be the Apple. It Asks for restarting the Programm and mostla i get my work back by the automated savings.
Sometimes I beg for help and put my eMail in the "description" field. Never got any answer.
