@TiagoRocha , if you do not have an HDR monitor, please make sure that "Precise color management for HDR display' is not checked; restart Photoshop if you change this setting.

@Mark.Dahm

I was following your replies and unfortunately my panel doesn't have those options:

Also, someone recommended unchecking the "Use Graphics Processor option. This is what I have at the moment:

Any tips? I'm having a different issue, but @J453 suggested you as a possible problem solver 😉

Sometimes when I leave PS open for a while, when I go back and open a new document, for example, it doesn't update the window. What I mean is that the new document seems to open, because I see the layers, but the document itself doesn't load. Or if I had for example 4 documents opened, when I close 1, instead of showing me the next document, it keeps the 1st window.

For example look how I just created a new document, I can see the layers, but the window is not visible (and no, this is not a problem with the window being closed or anything, it's really a bug that goes away once I restart PS):

Anyone knows what this is and how to fix it, without restarting? Sometimes I have unsaved documents and because I can't see them, when it asks me if I want to save (when I try to close PS to fix the bug), I don't know if it's safe to save or not, because I have no idea what changes I made...

Hi @MªDOLORS243417614fw0 ,

We are sorry you are experiencing this issue.  Can you please try disabling Preferences -> Performance -> Use Graphics Processsors and let us know if this helps or not?  Additionally, can you please provide us your Help -> System Info ?

Cheers,

Andrew

@18506276 , try unchecking this option in Preferences and restarting Photoshop.

So I am basically working myself through an entire Photoshop course.

On Monday I created an exercise project for the type chapter.

Today I wanted to continue and opened the project (which was saved in Creative Cloud). As shown on the screenshot, the canvas area stays grey even though you can see all the different layers I created in the layers panel. Besides rectangle layers, I also used normal type layers and converted one into 3D.

It seems to only affect this specific project the rest seems fine.

Is this some sort of bug (I am on the newest Update 23.3)? Can I fix it somehow? It's really frustrating because I put a lot of time into the project...

Okay so I deleted the 3D converted type layer and now the rest of the layers appeared back on the canvas... I suppose this problem is connected with the old 3D application which Adobe wants to replace in the future anyways? Does anyone else experience similar problems?

Never mind now the rest of the layers disappeared again on the canvas... no idea why...

@andrewh18598416 , if you do not have an HDR display, go into Technology Previews and uncheck the precise color management for HDR displays option, then restart Photoshop.

If that does not work, does the file have any 3D layers? Those won't render right unless you check the 'Deactivate Native Canvas' option, also in Technology Previews Preference in Photoshop.

Hello everbody,

I got myself a new mockup and one of the three work. Every time I open the other 2 I get a blank screen. The files are large - 800mb - while the file where it worked on is 500mb.

I tried reducing the file size, but it did not work. I searched the forum but that did not help because I don't have access to some of the features.

I am running on Monterey V.12.2.1
