P: Error at loading of ippCV library

On my computer it is impossible to start the Photoshop 22.0 After starting the program, following errormessage appears:

Your application is dynamically linked with Intel(R) IPP libraries version 2020.0.1.

No DLL from the list below is found an the system search path:

ippcvm7.dll (the most suitable for your CPU)

Please provide a path to at least one of them.

I understand your point but don't you think it would be courteous of Adobe to give say 18 months warning to customers of their intention to drop support of some hardware thus allowing the customer to plan for a new investment or look for another solution. I think so.

Up to PS 22.1.1 the solution presented by shad0w works, but for PS 22.2 I have no solution.

You don't have to buy a top-spec PC in order to use it. Creative Cloud 2021 runs even on an 8-year-old laptop that I have.

The issue here (the topic discussed on this page) generally affects systems at least a decade old.

Still, it would be great if even those computers worked with the latest release... However, last year's version will still run even on those old PCs.

12x59.99=720£ really adobe? really? I bought CS4 for 350£. where's your rationale for cloud only options? and now we have to buy a top spec PC just to use it? It's arrogant, and someone will disrupt you in the long run.

Adobe have their feet on table, asking "Why don't they just buy a new PC?" Answer: Because we're paying 59.99 £ a month for software which we used to be able to buy outright.

The bigger they are...

Hopefully someone releases some decent competing open-source as in the GIS community. ESRI provides outstanding support because of the competition from open-source QGIS. I can run ArcMap without a problem, even with the license manager open. CC is just a behemoth which I spent more than 15% of my time battling with, closing down apps, disabling processes, disabling features. Yeah it's glitzy but not all that glimmers is gold. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER ADOBE!! When new competitors arrive at your door, you will be left with few friends in the creative community: except those with deep pockets.
