P: Floating document windows in fullscreen w/menu bar causes window to jump to center

With the new release, the zooming mechanism has changed and it always behaves as if "Zoom Clicked Point to Center" was turned on when I am using keyboard shortcut (mapped to Wacom Pen). It works as expected when I'm zooming with scroll wheel.

Well, I understand the coding part where fixing a bug might bring others.

I am not saying as a paying customer I would gladly wait months for bug fixes.

You can refer back to my previous comment: "Would be nice to see you guys release more frequent updates with a smaller scope of bug fixes so we can benefit more rapidly from the improvement. In a professional environment, every second counts."

No, but if we tell Adobe we understand, they won't take us serious at all...

I agree with you Ed. I just decided to drop the ball on this one. It doesn't look like my voice will change anything to the Adobe process.

Well, i do NOT understand. We, professionals, rely on the software. We PAY for it. It should work. Adobe should fix this ASAP. Not WEEKS later!!!

Hi Vincent,

Sorry for the frustration. It's understandable that not rolling back makes sense in your case.

Your feedback is appreciated. We are always trying to strike the perfect balance between frequency of updates and the scope of those updates. As it is, we include time for testers and beta users to get the update before the public and give feedback. I'm sure you're aware that unfortunately sometimes fixing one thing breaks another, sometimes unexpected, piece. It would be a shame to fix this only to find that another equally annoying bug was a consequence without bothering to deliver it to users for testing first.

Regards,
Hannah

Thanks for the reply Hannah.

Problem is, I incorporated the new brush structure to my workflow so rolling back is not an option. Would be nice to see you guys release more frequent updates with a smaller scope of bug fixes so we can benefit more rapidly from the improvement. In a professional environment, every second counts.

Hi Vincent,

Being a publicly traded company we cannot share timelines, but if you look at the general pace between releases, that should give you a good idea. If this issue is affecting your workflow and you want a fix immediately, the easiest solution for the time being would probably be to install a previous version. If you have actions and presets, you'll want to save a copy of that folder (here's a screen shot of where they are on my Mac), but you can find them here:

Detailed instructions are here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preset-migration.html

Actually installing a previous version takes very little time. Open the Creative Cloud desktop application and follow the images below:

Detailed instructions are here (scroll down to "install previous version of apps"): https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/download-install-app.html

Thanks,
Hannah

When will we see the next release? This is quite an annoying basic bug. Would like to see a fix now.

In the newest version of Photoshop CC, whenever I select a layer, the artboard automatically centers. Is there a way to turn off this behavior?
