P: MacBook Pro Apple M2 Max Laggy Liquify

Same problem here, macbook pro M2 new. PS 24.4.1. Can't use liquify because of laggy. Plz fix it!

I have updated to Photoshop 24.4.1, but the problem still persists.

I am also encountering the same issue on my newly purchased MacBook M2 Pro 14". When I use the Liquify tool, the mouse cursor becomes extremely laggy. Please help me resolve this annoying issue.

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.  

@CShubert thank you, updated it in the morning and so far so good today with the intermittent non-applying of liquify. Thank you and the team.

Even before, I have not experienced the lagging of liquify as others reported (Macbook Pro M2 Max).

Update!! It worked fine once with a jpg file.

As soon as I opened a psd file the lag is still here...

Huge improvement over yesterday's version. It's usable but, still not up to par. Thank you though, I have a lot of files to get out the door today so this helps a lot!

24.4.1 is a huge improvment for me. It's still not as fast as my base model M1 MAcbook Air BUT!.....At least it is usable and I no longer sound like I have tourettes everytime I need to liquify something

24.4.1 did not fix the problem. Still laggy, especially with large files. Lag is not present in 2022 version
