P: Merge to HDR has banding in it

i was promised weeks ago, that Bug Id PS-38302 would be fixed in the upcoming update of Photoshop. Couldn't deliver to customers all this time, because i rely on hdr - and i cant create usable hdr-files, since it is a major bug not a minor one (how is that possible in a version 20.00x?). no previous versions works either!!!
Update is here, Problem not fixed at all - I cant deliver any work to my customers and are loosing orders!!!!

really, this is not acceptable!!

    next (big) update arrived. Problem unsolved. can't create hdr's
    still paying and cant use my main function since a long time. i have to assume, that it will never be solved and take steps accordingly. never thougt, it would go that far

    easier said than done!
    all versions i tried till back to 2014.x have the same issue.
    so i think it is somehow OS-related or an engine/middleware thats used by all versions.
    if you can tell me a single state, that works, i will install it immediately. but i am not confident, that this exists.

    can you not install the last version which is not buggy until this is fixed?

    Hi RP, sorry you were given incorrect information. This issue will be addressed in an update that will be out in the very near future. I'll update this record when the fix goes out.

    this is the official with Photoshop  bug number for this problem within adobe, i assume the developpers work with them? how else could they identify them?
     And i was told to post here regarding bugs/bugfixes?
