Photoshop CC 2014, CC, and CS6 mouse click getting stuck bug in Lion, Mountain Lion, and Yosemite, but not in Mavericks. Here's a very annoying bug that has been popping up in various versions of Photoshop and OS X over the past years. I have used many tablets and computers during this time, various versions of Photoshop and OS X, yet this bug remains. The only time I never had the bug was when using Mavericks. The bug involves about every 10th click on the INTERFACE (NOT ON THE CANVAS) getting "stuck". This means that I can click on a slider, a curve point, or anything that's not on the canvas, and even after releasing the mouse/pen, the interface will think I am still clicking until I click again.Video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frZvR... may be an OS X bug since it does not happen in Mavericks but it does happen in Lion, Mountain Lion and Yosemite. However, it only ever happens in Photoshop, and never in any other app. Even in Photoshop, it only ever happens on the interface and not on the canvas. I do use my Wacom Intuos 5 outside of Photoshop so I would notice every 10th click getting stuck over many years of use.Even if it is an OS X bug, it would be great if Adobe could let Apple know since Apple probably will just say it's an Adobe bug, as usual, and it will never get sorted out.MacBook Pro 15 Retina Late 2013, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)Adobe Photoshop Version: 2014.2.1 20141014.r.257 2014/10/14:23:59:59 CL 987299 x64But the bug affects previous versions too, down to CS 6, but not CS 5 and before.

Thank you for your reply. I concur that it is a MacOS issue. Anything you can do to bring awareness or help Apple resolve the issue is most appreciated.

We are working with Apple to get the issues in MacOS 10.10 fixed in future OS updates. So far the problems we have found on MacOS 10.10 have not been things that we can work around.

I have the same issue. I'm working on a new iMac, 27", Yosemite was pre-installed, Wacom Intuos 4 and mouse. It happens on my Photoshop CS5, which I installed and re-installed. It also happens on the trial versions of CS 6, and CC. This bug slows me down, tremendously. I'm patiently trying to figure out a manageable compromise work-around, like double-clicking every move. But, I have to say, it is quite infuriating. If there is any way the Photoshop folks could successfully correct this bug, it would be most appreciated. Thank you, in advance.

No ETA that I can share ATM. I'm hoping it makes it into our next update.

Hi Jeffrey, Any resolution on this issue? It seems to be getting worse lately??? Not sure why or maybe I'm just busier. The sticking issue is really disrupting my workflow.... please make this a priority.

Did you install the WhiteWindowWorkaround plugin to work around known MacOS issues?

I'm having this same issue in Photoshop CS6, where sliders and even layers get stuck in drag mode after I pick up my pen. I can resolve it by clicking again, but it's slowing my workflow down tremendously. I need to be able to select a layer, and begin working on it, without worrying that I'm going to change the layer order because Photoshop didn't recognize my mouseup event (if that's even the issue).

I'm using the Art Pen (though I think this happens with the stock pen that came with the tablet too) on an Intuos5 (I think it's the same as the "Intuos Pro" ever since Wacom started calling their Bamboo tablets "Intuos tablets"... what is that, anyway?!). And I'm running Yosemite (10.10.2) on a mid-2014 Retina Macbook Pro.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Same issue here. Yosemite and Photoshop 2014 CC. Mouse gets stuck occasionally using either the mouse or wacom intros. Usually gets stuck when adjusting curves adjustment layer or similar menu item.
