P: Not detecting older GPU's

I have a AMD HD8490 GPU and installed Photoshop version 21.2 and the GPU is not been detected, I'm not alone as I've come across other people with the same issue on the Photoshop community forum.
Reverting back to 21.1.3 fixes the issue
Why does Adobe release updates to fix bugs and then break something else with the same update.

Same issue here. NVIDIA Quadro 2000, latest driver, Windows 10.

Perspective Warp, Render Lighting Effects, Scrubby Zoom not working in PS version 21.2.

Went back to PS version 21.1.3, seems to be working just fine.

I am using latest PS v 21.2.0 inside VMWare and it is not working!

SO I am using PS v21.1.2 at the moment now.

Adobe!  You need to do QA!   THIS IS NOT GOOD!

Having this Issue as well, but rollbacking to 21.1.3 didn't work for me. In my case it's not my dedicated NVIDIA but my HD graphics 530 that just randomly stopped detecting in the middle of work (For some reason HD works better than NVIDIA in my case, PSP is one buggy thing).

When I installed PSP 2020 I was amazed on just how smoothly everything ran, even with just HD graphics, finally my layer effects lag issue was gone. I installed 21.2 and everything was going great, until it randomly lagged when opening a file in the middle of work, taking up to 5s per file. When I went to check the performance I noticed it switched to my NVIDIA card even though I have it set to integrated graphics. I rolled back to the first version and it didn't help, it still doesn't detect it.

Lightroom an ACR have the same issues not detecting the GPU on my system. But I only downgraded PS, because I need the functions there most.

We are experiencing the same issue company wide.
More prevalent when laptops are connected to docking stations, PS, AI, AE all refuse to see Quadro T1000, or 960GTX an older test machine.
Lightroom does succesfully detect GPU, even when connected to dock.

I have the same problem with PS 21.2 and Windows 7 using a Nvidia Quadro FX 1800.
In 21.1.3 it works like a charm, so I had to downgrade.

But how to get the Info, if the issue ist fixed?
The patchnotes only state "Some minor issues fixed".
Is there any source for more detailled infos?

I have the same problem on Windows 10 and Radeon HD6570

I spent 1hour with support but the only way to have back everything working has been to install previous Photoshop version but this is not a solution.

I hope Adobe will look at the problem soon.
