P: Not printing in macOS 10.12 Sierra

Installed OS-X Sierra and now Photoshop 15.5.1 crashes when attempting to print. Print dialogue opens and settings can be modified, but when attempting to print PS crashes perhaps 9 out of 10 attempts. Most frustrating. I'm printing to an Epson 7890, but I have seen the same issue cited for Canon. Adobe support told me that Photoshop has not been tested on Sierra, but in reality Adobe has had Sierra for months and have even published known issues. I pay a ton of money for this thing to work and this nonsense from support is very annoying.

Another week has gone by and STILL Adobe has not found a way to let Photoshop CC print to a professional wide format printer under Sierra.  How many thousands of photographers - besides me - find this to be ridiculous ?  My work flow is restricted and I have  wasted days, not hours, in patching together some hardware that can go back to El Capitan ..... And we all pay big buck$ to rent this software each month.

Still no fix for a very fundamental function of the product?

Photoshop is supposedly a premium product at a premium price.

I feel I am paying for the reliability and service for a Mercedes and
getting a Yugo!

I had to uninstal PS 2015.5.0 and instal again. Now I hae the 2015.5.1. The same problem with lightroom, I had the .6 version and no update showed. I uninstal Lightroom, instal again and now I have the .7 version.

Jeffrey, neither of the two methods reveal a 15.1.2. The latest update posted as of this message is 15.1.1.

No - it says that the installer file may be damaged.  It is 1.38 GB and  it did not open.

You're downloading from the Creative Cloud desktop app?

See this document for troubleshooting not seeing updates: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-application-recognizing-available.html

If you download the update directly from here, does it install? https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/uptodate.html#NotConnected

There is 2015.5.2 update. The current version is 2015.5.1. You can confirm you have the latest version by going to Help > System Info.

A fix for printing issues in Sierra is forthcoming but I can tell you the version # is not 2015.5.2.  I will update this thread once an update is available.
