P: Not printing in macOS 10.12 Sierra

Installed OS-X Sierra and now Photoshop 15.5.1 crashes when attempting to print. Print dialogue opens and settings can be modified, but when attempting to print PS crashes perhaps 9 out of 10 attempts. Most frustrating. I'm printing to an Epson 7890, but I have seen the same issue cited for Canon. Adobe support told me that Photoshop has not been tested on Sierra, but in reality Adobe has had Sierra for months and have even published known issues. I pay a ton of money for this thing to work and this nonsense from support is very annoying.

I have done as you suggested, Jeffrey. Updated to 10.12.1.  Deleted printer and re-connected under a new name.  Deleted driver and downloaded and installed again.
Photoshop still crashes when I try to print on my Epson 3880.

Both MacPro computers are now printing to 3 Epson printers.  My computers are printing to a pair of Epson P9000 printers and an Epson 3880.  I think that we are done.

I updated to Mac OS 10.12.1 ---then I re-installed the Epson drivers - then I deleted and re-listed the Epson printers.   And, then, I went back to work !!!!!!!

Will give it a try, Jeffrey. It has been frustrating. I am retired, and all my work is for 'not for profits' and therefore does not involve $$, but they still want their content in a reasonable time span and that is reasonable.

It would be nice if the corporate types at Adobe were concerned enough about their customers to actually reach out to them. I doubt that most CC users are casual dabblers. They count on this software to work and they suffer consequence if it doesn't.

I updated my Mac to OS 10.12.1 --- I deleted the Epson drivers and the printers and re-downloaded the drivers.  Then I re-installed my 2 P9000 printers and my 3880.
I have printed to a P9000 and the 3880 without crashing.  My only problem is that now I do not have any of the Epson paper ICC profiles   ...... I'll work on that.

Next I will re-install the hard drives on my second MacPro computer that contain Sierra.  I went back to El Capitan on that MacPro just to be able to work for the past month ......

My fingers are crossed that this is the end of this story ......

Mine printed. First time in 8 or 9 days, after I installed the latest Mac OS 10.12 update to 10.12.1. What does that say about Adobe v. Apple? Well, I don't know what was going on under the heaving blanket, but between the two of them, my copy of Photoshop CC 2015.5.1 can now print from all three of my printers. I hope others have the same results after installing the OS update. All I had to do was delete and reinstall the drivers.

I don’t know about the hot-shot professionals here, but PS Elements 13 still does not print. And yes, I followed the instructions.

Please update to macOS 10.12.1. This should correct this problem for most printers and drivers.

For some printers, ensuring your printer driver is up-to-date will fix stability issues. Note: Just updating the driver may not work. You need to delete the driver, delete the printer, install the latest driver then install the printer with a different name.
