P: Photoshop 22.0: Where is Line Weight/Width and Pixels options?

I'm having trouble using the Line Tool in PS 22.0.0.

How do I set the width/weight of the line? In PS 21 there was a "Weight" option along the top bar, but I don't see that anymore. Am I missing it? Or did it move?

This might be a separate issue, but the lines I'm drawing are not showing up. I have a fill color and stroke color selected, but when I make a line, I don't see it. I just see a blue outline of where it is... the same that might happen if I made a "path" instead of a "shape."

I just need to make a line with a width/weight of 20px.

It's clear the programmers over at Adobe have no idea how their users use their products.  As a user of PS for over 20 years now these changes that affect "legacy" users workflows are seriously infuriating.  I think back to vesions ago where they decided to change the way we use the "free transform" tool.  I guess after enough pushback they decided to give us a preferences check box to restore the "legacy free transform" functionality.  Adobe.  Please give us another check box to fix your errors in judgement.

I am the owner/operator of a product photography studio and editing service and I've been using Photoshop since 1995, ver. 4.0. Changing the line tool and removing the pixel weight makes it impossible for me and my editors to add straight lines to the selection in quick mask. We utilize the quick mask + line tool combo daily and I will not be able to use any future version of Photoshop without this feature. It must be added back in to the line tool or another separate tool in order for our industry to continue using this program.

Hi Adobe.

Please fix the line tool. Most of us don't need fancy features that can transform our face into an older version. But we use line tool like every day for our work.

Bottom line- Photoshop is a bitmap/pixel based editor that can’t draw a line of pixels. Have you lost your freaking minds?

What a horrible decision changing the line tool!   We use or used to use the pixel line tool quite often, drawing sketches and rendering.   We gave the "new way" to draw a line a shot, but it just doesn't work for us.   I can see some applications where this might be a welcome addition but for us, it added too much complexity to a simple process and it completely ruins creative flow!   Why on earth did you have to disable the pixel version?   Do you guys and gals even use the software you create?   We haven't even had an opportunity to explore other new features before giving up and reverting back to a previous version so we could remain productive.   Sad....

I'm a concept artist for feature films and I rely on the line tool with pixels option to quickly layout perspective in drawings before I painted them in photoshop. I don't use the vector versions in photoshop because that workflow is cumbersome and slow for being able to quickly layout lines (and the layer management would quickly get out of hand when working fast). Now with that feature removed for something that was so useful for literally the last 15 years of my career, I am forced to have to switch to doing quick layout drawings in something like sketchbook pro. Why would adobe kneecap photoshop in that way????? What is even more frustrating is that this happened mid upgrade while I'm teaching a class to students.

*Edit* I am literally right now drafting an email to all my students to downgrade to 2020, and if they haven't already, NOT to upgrade to 2021. The missing pixels option in line tool is a feature that is now critically broken.

Just hold the shift key to start the shape, then let go.

I went back to previous version. Whoever did this crap needs to be dismissed for incompetence.
