P: Photoshop 22.0: Where is Line Weight/Width and Pixels options?

I'm having trouble using the Line Tool in PS 22.0.0.

How do I set the width/weight of the line? In PS 21 there was a "Weight" option along the top bar, but I don't see that anymore. Am I missing it? Or did it move?

This might be a separate issue, but the lines I'm drawing are not showing up. I have a fill color and stroke color selected, but when I make a line, I don't see it. I just see a blue outline of where it is... the same that might happen if I made a "path" instead of a "shape."

I just need to make a line with a width/weight of 20px.

Also registered just for this issue.

im surprised more people haven’t complained about the issue it creates in quick mask. Isolation is such a basic component of editing and to make it so we can’t add to selection with the line tool anymore is crazy. That has to effect way more editors than realize it yet.

@mark_dahm Hi! Can you pass on the wishes of bringing back the pixel version of line tool?

(Our 80 person company is now forced to use old version because of the pixel line option is missing in new)

Let's hope so! This new version is rendered unusable for our 80 people company for drawing purposes.

I registered for the exact same complaint.  Hoping enough voices will force a change, or again, at least force a preferences check box to revert to a better way of life.

Also generally many functions are starting to feel bloated for no reason, startup times feel longer on each update even with new m2 SSD disks. If you hit ctrl+n to create new empty document newish versions take a few sedonds to finish this simple task. Feels like the commands go through some Adobe server or social media platform to check out newest templates etc. if I only want to create an empty document.

Sorry for the rant but this line tool farce made me register on the forums...

Rolling back is exactly what I've done and what I've advised other PS users within our company to do.

Please bring back the greyed out pixel line tool!

Please try your software updates in actual use before launching them. Our company has to roll back to old version because of this fundamental change in basic tool behaviour. I quess it's time to start learning Affinity Photo or any other competing graphics software. WE WANT TO DRAW PIXELS WITH A PIXEL DRAWING SOFTWARE.

In a project right now, I work for a large architectural firm, working on the composting of a 3D rendering only to find out if I want to tweak my layer's mask using the line tool I can't...well actually I can if I change the line  from shape to a path, then go into my brush settings to affect the type of line that I'll stroke that path with.  What kind of workflow efficiency is that? Anyone else working with masks and channels running into this problem, or have a better solution?
