P: Photoshop 23.0 crashes when trying to use touchscreen

Hello Adobe team, 

Is there a fix for this yet? I see the workarounds but is there a patch coming out soon? Thanks so much. 

Dude. Come on. Telling us a fix is coming "very" soon, demonstrating that Adobe knows exactly what's causing the problem, and then leaving us with no update that you could deliver over air at any time to all of us who pay to stay up to date, is just lame. Post the fix. I don't like my most important app only being operational via breaking it by renaming a folder.

Ich bekomme wiederholt und in nicht vorhersehbaren Abständen diese Fehlermeldung (siehe Foto) und PS stürzt ab. Egal, welches Tool in dem Moment verwendet wird. Mitten im Workflow stockt PS, Meldung kommt, Absturz.

Habe bereits PS de- und neuinstalliert, zurückgesetzt, Grafikkarte ist ausreichend, Treiber sind aktuell, Laptop ist neu und hat ausreichend RAM. Arbeite mit einem Wacom Cintiq Pro 16, Treiber sind auch hier aktualisiert, auch ohne angeschlossenes Wacom taucht trotz all dieser Gegebenheiten das Problem auf.

Einzige Möglichkeit (aktuell), das Problem zu beheben: "Grafikprozessor verwenden" AUSschalten unter Voreinstellungen > Leistung. Dadurch fehlen mir dann aber zwei wichtige/hilfreiche Funktionen, dynamischer Zoom und Bilddrehung.

Freue mich über jede Hilfe.

I am having the same issue. I have deleted the update and am working with 22.5.2 now because I can't use 23.0 at all. It crashes the second I touch the screen. Please help!! 

Same issue, gestures of any kind crash the app. I sent a crash report. And reinstalled the previous 2021 version for now.

I have thé same issue, very annoying since I'm not a computer wizard, just want thing to work for the money I pay monthly. Every year the same problems, some thin or another not working.... 😞

The temporary and easy fix at the top of the page does not work. I can draw for a few seconds, when I pull up the brushes panel it crashes again every time. Best fix is to go to a previous version of Photoshop and wait this out.

Use your mouse is no good advice. Use the temporary and easy fix that is posted on top of the page.

Same problem as everyone... impossible to work using my touch screen with the latest version .23

I sent the report, after each scratch... What are the update regarding the fix?

Use your mouse. Just not fingers or stylus. If you have an active pen, that seems to work
